Jen is the absolute BEST!! As a wedding planner, I cannot say how much I appreciate working with a photographer like Jen! She is so kind and warm and always makes my client's and their guests feel so calm and comfortable in front of the camera. I can't say enough about Jen's work. I found Jen on Instagram and her work caught my eye, especially the lighting and candid photos. From our first conversation, I felt an immediate connection and felt like I knew her for years. Jen has a gift of making you feel confident, relaxed and special. My husband has never felt comfortable getting his photo taken but he too agreed it was such a wonderful experience.
Jen was so patient and helped us decide on our engagement location and even gave us feedback for our outfits. We had the opportunity to have Jen at both our welcome party and the wedding/reception. The pictures from both days were absolutely beautiful, especially the sunset photos from our reception. If anyone is looking for an incredible photographer and a more incredible person, look no further!

Jen is one of those people you instantly feel comfortable around and just want to throw a dance party with...she's also wildly talented at what she does. We got to spend a relaxing afternoon with Jen during our engagement session where she effortless handled a camera-shy bride (who's fiancé's ability to act totally natural in front of the lens doesn't help) and two crazy dogs into not only being comfortable, but having the best time. When we took our session to the coastline, Jen perched cliffside on a jagged rock to get the perfect shot without a moment's hesitation.... ROCKSTAR.
Then came wedding day where Jen was in a totally different element. A total boss who had the patience of a saint with all 25 members of our wedding party. Add her husband to the mix as her 2nd shooter and assistant extraordinaire and I promise you won't find a more in-sync photography team. My husband and I will forever remember our sunset photo session with them and how they gave us the time to take in all that the day was and captured each moment so perfectly.

Jen and her husband were absolutely PHENOMENAL. Jen made us feel so comfortable throughout our engagement shoot and it made it that much better nearly a year later when she shot our wedding. We highly recommend doing the engagement + wedding package - it made us feel so much more comfortable in front of the camera on our big day! Even after we received our engagement photos, Jen was super willing to edit small hairs that were bothering me and did so in 24 hours! Jen is an amazing photographer. My husband and I are not very photogenic but we look good in her photos. The way she uses light gave our wedding a dreamy quality that looked like it was right out of a magazine. She really captured the essence and mood of our wedding, from the funny moments during the ceremony, to the laid back reception to the winding down around the firepit. My brother's girlfriend did an amazing job of handcrafting the wedding decor and Jen made sure to capture all the little details. Guests commented later that they barely noticed her as she took some amazing candid shots of them. She really captured everything with her camera and I couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out. Trust me, spend your money on the photographs. No one remembers the food but the photos last a lifetime. People are always asking to see my photos and give rave reviews on how they turned out.

Loved everything about Jen Rodriguez! Hiring a stellar photographer was definitely one of our highest priorities when planning our wedding. We knew how fast and we wanted photos to remember the day by. Jen successfully and beautifully captured every single meaningful moment during our wedding. Her photos are some of the most amazing I have ever seen! We chose her because all of our vendors raved about her and when we saw her website we knew why. Also, the day of the wedding she was so great to be around. She and her husband made everyone feel super relaxed and comfortable, sometimes it was like she wasn't even there! I don't have enough great things to say about Jen, I recommend her without a single hesitation.

Hiring Jen was the best decision we made, first for an engagement shoot and then for our wedding. She captures truly breathtaking photos, even of family members who aren't usually photogenic. Jen will bend over backwards for you… literally! Her crazy acrobatic, balancing acts and climbing on unstable objects nearly gave my dad a heart attack! But she is fit and it doesn’t phase her… she’ll do anything for the perfect shot! This is one of the many reasons why we loved working with Jen. Jen is not afraid of a challenge. I told her that I wanted sharp, bright colors instead of the fairytale glow that is trendy right now. I wanted images so crisp that you could see every wrinkle and freckle… but then she would need to edit those out so that we look fabulous! (I know, I’m not an easy client!) Regardless, Jen nailed it. After our engagement shoot, we could not wait to hang out with Jen again at the wedding she is so much fun and so sweet. She is also incredibly good at her craft- our wedding was no easy photography feat. The ceremony took place at the beach with the sun reflecting right off the ocean into her lens and our reception took place in a historical building with the original lighting set against a black ceiling with lots of reflective glass and mirrors. Once again… she nailed it. Our pictures are to die for. We consider ourselves very lucky to have worked with Jen and highly recommend Jen Rodriguez Photography to everyone!
