Highly recommend JEM Salon for wedding day services! I got my hair and makeup done here along with my wedding party, mom, and mother in law, everyone was very happy with how it all came out. I was very nervous about getting my makeup done, I can’t remember the last time I wore makeup, but Kat listened to exactly what I wanted and I looked like myself! Jackie did my hair and it was better than I could have imagined it. I decided at the last minute on a flower crown and she made it work with the ponytail and braid I wanted, she worked some magic! My hair and makeup also lasted well into the night, the pony and flower crown were still going strong at the bar after the reception! They also got us all ready on time, which was really important to us so we could take pictures before the ceremony. All of the women were enjoyable to be around the morning of the wedding too, we had a great time!

This whole team of ladies made the hair and makeup process so easy for my day. I waited a bit to book a team due to COVID reasons but if you need someone, I wouldn't wait on them! Megan, Kat, Cece, and Jaclyn did such an amazing job on hair/makeup for 8+ bridesmaids/moms and came to my venue for the morning of. Megan was amazing and so dedicated to getting my hair to be just the way I wanted it. She even stayed to ensure my veil was placed perfectly which was so appreciated. I partied all night and my curls stayed the whole time. Katarina was also so great with testing makeup and getting it exactly the way I wanted. I don't often wear a lot of makeup and she did a perfect natural look for me that I felt comfortable and beautiful in. Thank you so much JEM!

J.E.M hair studio made my wedding day beyond perfect! I originally hired someone else, but after having a bad experience with my hair and makeup trial, I panicked that I wouldn’t be able to find someone else on such short notice. Luckily, I found J.E.M and they had my date available!
Where to start?! They were beyond accommodating and extremely nice throughout my entire time with them. Before my trial appointment they asked for pictures of my dress and examples of how I would like my hair and makeup. My makeup trial was beyond perfect with Kat, she did the exact look I pictured in my head and I was instantly relieved. Jackie did my hair, and I was very picky about my hair and how I wanted it. Jackie did such an incredible job working with me throughout the trial until I was completely satisfied!
Day of, they were all set up and ready to go when my bridal party and myself came down to start. They made a stressful morning very fun and we’re able to help calm my nerves. They tackled 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my grandma and my flower girl with ease and complete professionalism quickly.
My hair and my makeup was beyond stunning and I am so happy they were able to be a part of my special day.
Going above and beyond-Jackie was invited to our wedding and throughout the night, fixed my bridesmaids hair, fixed my hair and helped me take out my veil.

I can't say enough nice things about JEM Hair Studio! I had originally hired someone else to do my hair but had a terrible experience with the trial run only one month before my wedding. After frantically looking around for someone else who would not only be available for our date, but could also come to our venue to the morning of the wedding, I finally found JEM. With only a month to go I didn't have time to do a trial with them and I was already nervous after my bad experience with the other hair studio. They were so helpful at easing my worries. They asked so many good questions about what my vision was, any concerns or preferences I had, and the different hair types of me and my bridesmaids who would be getting their hair done as well, and how best to work with each one. I truly had nothing to worry about! They day of, they were already set up in our changing room waiting for us. They quickly worked on our hair and makeup, maximizing the short time we had. They were so nice and sweet to have and helped make a stressful busy morning so much fun. Most importantly everyone looked fantastic and got exactly what they asked for! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service from wonderful people that really care to make your special day everything you want it to be!

My first comment is "wow." They were true rockstars. With only a ten day lead time Jackie and Kat made my wedding day hair and makeup dreams become more of a reality that I could have ever imagined. They rolled with A LOT of surprises and were so professional and kind I was completely blown away. They could teach a course to executives in corporate America on how to be professional. I'm not kidding! My hair lasted the whole night and not a single bobby-pin annoyed or hurt me, even through dancing. Kat was great at listening to people's fears and hopes for their makeup look and making everyone feel special.

Both Jackie and Kat are on the top of my list for all my beauty needs going forward. I can't wait to come hang with Jackie and get a haircut.

We had hair and makeup done by JEM for my daughter's wedding. Everyone looked amazing from my 80-year-old mother to the bride.

Jackie did hair -- the bride's hair was perfect. Jackie's braiding ability is a strong tool in her skills set. My mother was styled with a look for today but also in a classic way where my mom felt appropriate and comfortable -- just what she wanted.

Kat did everyone's make-up just as they ask, only better. She respected the comfort level of each woman with grace. She has a steady hand and real artistry.

Both women helped create a beautiful atmosphere in the room while everyone got ready. They were flexible and professional. I had the ladies of JEM do both hair and makeup for myself, bridal party, mom, sister-in-laws, and mother-in-law--11 heads in total and all we can say is WOW! These girls are very talented, fast and professional and super fun to hang out with! They were like having another 3 girlfriends in the room and my bridal party loved them. They showed up bright and early, 8 am on the dot and were battling against the most humid days of the summer and JEM won because everyone looked absolutely stunning and our looks lasted all through the night. I only went on one hair trial before my wedding and that was all i needed. When I saw the big, gorgeous waves that Jackie pulled together on me, I knew I didn't need to look any further. Im from the city and really didnt want to pay to bring a stylist upstate with me. i didnt need to because JEM was on par with the quality and looks that you would get in a high-end salon in nyc. I would recommend these ladies without a doubt for any special occasion!
