I seriously cannot recommend Elyssa enough! From the moment we first talked, she immediately made me feel so at ease. She actually took the time to chat with me and talk out options and what I was envisioning for my day when I first reached out to inquire, which I feel is so rare!

Elyssa made every step of the process so easy. She is responsive and always answered all of my questions. I am not at all a makeup girl and she guided me in a way that was also very receptive to my feedback (which truly was so minimal because she did an amazing job!) She understood what I was envisioning and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, but also so myself. She is the reason I love my photos so much! She also did an amazing job on my hair which stayed in place the entire night!

On the wedding day, she was truly another bridesmaid. We had so much fun during the getting ready process with all of my girls, and she jumped in to do whatever was needed -- including helping me into my dress! You have truly found so much more than a stylist in Elyssa -- a helping hand, a hype woman, and a friend!

Well for starters that's me in the ad for her services so you can only imagine how magical my wedding day was! To have Elyssa do my hair was a dream come true! Funny story, my wedding day hair was not what we did for my trial. For my rehearsal dinner Elyssa put my hair half up with a small bun and red velvet bow and I was like WAIT A MINUTE. So the morning of the wedding I switched my hair style to a half up with a bun and curls and I am soooo glad we changed it. I felt like Belle! Elyssa did so amazing I had no words. She stayed with me all day and night freshening up my hair for photos and when it was reception time she added my red velvet bow, which seriously made my feel like a Disney Princess. She not only made me fell beautiful, but she truly made my Disney princess dreams come true! The whole getting ready process was so much fun she did fantastic with my mom, me and my fellow bridesmaids. My Christmas wedding had the perfect hair to go with my dress and flowers, honestly everything tied together so well I am so grateful for her and her talent! Her attention to you and detail she makes you feel so loved and special which is how everyone should feel on their wedding day!

Booked with Elyssa for myself, 8 bridesmaids and moms for my wedding and she did NOT disappoint! I had a really hard time deciding what hairstyle I wanted (I have very thick and long hair) and she let me do 3 different trials and never made me feel like a burden. Once we landed on one I loved, she did a fantastic job executing on not only my hair the day of but all the girls too. Be Beautiful by Elyssa was the perfect choice for my wedding! Elyssa is so personable & knowledgeable, and was very accommodating leading up to my wedding day. I'm someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup and am not comfortable in that area, but Elyssa met me where I was at and absolutely nailed my vision. I wanted a softer, more natural look, and I can't get over how beautiful I felt at my wedding! My makeup and hair lasted the entire day (8+ hours), and she packed a little bag for touch ups free of charge.

Elyssa was super flexible about scheduling my hair & makeup trail since I live out of state, and about payment since there can be a lot going on. I had a blast during my trial as well - we got to know each other, chatted it up, and she made me feel so comfortable getting familiar with glam.

Elyssa's ability to keep the vibe fun & flexible was on full display the morning of my wedding. We realized we needed more hair extensions, and Elyssa was ON it. Within an hour, I had the perfect hair extensions, and the issue was solved before I had even started my makeup. Elyssa handled business swiftly, and kept me relaxed, smiling, & laughing the entire time.

She also has so many amazing connections to talented hair & makeup artists. We had 10 people total getting services done, and each person Elyssa brought to help was an absolute pro. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and were so thrilled with their glam. All of our hair & makeup lasted, and photographed beautifully.

From start to finish, working with Elyssa for my wedding hair & makeup was a delight!

Hair & makeup was the element of wedding planning that intimidated me most for two reasons: First, I live a few states away and only go back to New York occasionally, and I worried scheduling would be a hassle. Second, I almost never wear makeup, and few hair stylists really know how to deal with my curly, fine, scraggly/frizzy hair. Elyssa was amazingly responsive and easy to work with as I explained our travel situation and scheduled a trial with her. I learned during the trial that -- in addition to her work being just spectacular -- her calm, fun, and casual approach to the process made her the right choice for me. After the trial with Elyssa, all of my doubts and nerves about hair and makeup on the actual wedding day went away completely. I knew I would be looking and feeling like a special, celebratory version of myself rather than something extremely different or artificial.

On the wedding day itself, Elyssa's work was awesome and efficient. Her great sense of humor made our getting ready time more fun. I couldn't be happier with how my wedding hair & makeup ultimately turned out!

Elyssa is absolutely who you should hire for your wedding day hair and make up. Not only is she an exceptionally skilled hair and make up artist, she is a true wedding lover and she was a huge part of making my day so wonderful. Her experience, flexibility, kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to jump in is unmatched. From our 6:30 am start time to when she left after touch ups at 2:30 pm, Elyssa was awesome to have around. She also stayed for the photo shoots to make sure I was looking beautiful despite a very windy day, and helped me walk around without glasses! Elyssa also had a ton of behind the scenes shots from the photoshoot that were so lovely to see.

Additionally, Elyssa brings to the table a great team of hair and make up professionals - we had nine people in both hair and make up and every single one looked flawless. If you’re getting married, Elyssa is your artist!
