Well for starters that's me in the ad for her services so you can only imagine how magical my wedding day was! To have Elyssa do my hair was a dream come true! Funny story, my wedding day hair was not what we did for my trial. For my rehearsal dinner Elyssa put my hair half up with a small bun and red velvet bow and I was like WAIT A MINUTE. So the morning of the wedding I switched my hair style to a half up with a bun and curls and I am soooo glad we changed it. I felt like Belle! Elyssa did so amazing I had no words. She stayed with me all day and night freshening up my hair for photos and when it was reception time she added my red velvet bow, which seriously made my feel like a Disney Princess. She not only made me fell beautiful, but she truly made my Disney princess dreams come true! The whole getting ready process was so much fun she did fantastic with my mom, me and my fellow bridesmaids. My Christmas wedding had the perfect hair to go with my dress and flowers, honestly everything tied together so well I am so grateful for her and her talent! Her attention to you and detail she makes you feel so loved and special which is how everyone should feel on their wedding day! -

Elyssa was absolutely phenomenal! She’s incredibly talented, flexible, and so personable. From the very first trial to the final touch-ups on my wedding day, she made everything feel effortless. She listened to exactly what I wanted, made me feel so comfortable and cared for, and delivered hair and makeup that exceeded every expectation. I felt truly beautiful. Booked with Elyssa for myself, 8 bridesmaids and moms for my wedding and she did NOT disappoint! I had a really hard time deciding what hairstyle I wanted (I have very thick and long hair) and she let me do 3 different trials and never made me feel like a burden. Once we landed on one I loved, she did a fantastic job executing on not only my hair the day of but all the girls too. Everyone looked stunning and no ones hair fell or got messed up throughout the day/night. She is so friendly and you would not regret booking with her!! -

Gorgeous hair and makeup
We highly recommend Elyssa and her team. Elyssa did hair and makeup for our bride, and hair for mother of the bride and aunt of the bride as well. Everyone’s hair and makeup stayed perfect and we were so happy with her services. I highly recommend without hesitation. -

Be Beautiful by Elyssa was the perfect choice for my wedding! Elyssa is so personable & knowledgeable, and was very accommodating leading up to my wedding day. I'm someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup and am not comfortable in that area, but Elyssa met me where I was at and absolutely nailed my vision. I wanted a softer, more natural look, and I can't get over how beautiful I felt at my wedding! My makeup and hair lasted the entire day (8+ hours), and she packed a little bag for touch ups free of charge.
Elyssa was super flexible about scheduling my hair & makeup trail since I live out of state, and about payment since there can be a lot going on. I had a blast during my trial as well - we got to know each other, chatted it up, and she made me feel so comfortable getting familiar with glam.
Elyssa's ability to keep the vibe fun & flexible was on full display the morning of my wedding. We realized we needed more hair extensions, and Elyssa was ON it. Within an hour, I had the perfect hair extensions, and the issue was solved before I had even started my makeup. Elyssa handled business swiftly, and kept me relaxed, smiling, & laughing the entire time.
She also has so many amazing connections to talented hair & makeup artists. We had 10 people total getting services done, and each person Elyssa brought to help was an absolute pro. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and were so thrilled with their glam. All of our hair & makeup lasted, and photographed beautifully.
Thank you Elyssa & team for making me feel the most beautiful I ever have inside and out on my wedding day -- while looks are important, so are your HMU vendors since they spend the morning of your wedding with you, and Elyssa DELIVERED! -

Highly recommend!!
I am so thrilled with the incredible work Elyssa did for my wedding! From our first conversation, she felt like an instant bestie—so professional, kind, and organized. She was a calming presence and did such a great job of hyping me up for my big day, which made the whole experience so much fun.
During the trial, she listened carefully to my vision of a romantic, natural look for both my hair and makeup and offered expert advice that made me feel totally confident. On the wedding day, she kept me calm and on schedule while creating a flawless, beautiful look.
I received so many compliments and truly felt like the best version of myself. I cannot recommend Elyssa enough; she is an incredibly talented artist and a genuinely wonderful person to have by your side on such an important day! -

From start to finish, working with Elyssa for my wedding hair & makeup was a delight!
Hair & makeup was the element of wedding planning that intimidated me most for two reasons: First, I live a few states away and only go back to New York occasionally, and I worried scheduling would be a hassle. Second, I almost never wear makeup, and few hair stylists really know how to deal with my curly, fine, scraggly/frizzy hair. Elyssa was amazingly responsive and easy to work with as I explained our travel situation and scheduled a trial with her. I learned during the trial that -- in addition to her work being just spectacular -- her calm, fun, and casual approach to the process made her the right choice for me. After the trial with Elyssa, all of my doubts and nerves about hair and makeup on the actual wedding day went away completely. I knew I would be looking and feeling like a special, celebratory version of myself rather than something extremely different or artificial.
On the wedding day itself, Elyssa's work was awesome and efficient. Her great sense of humor made our getting ready time more fun. I couldn't be happier with how my wedding hair & makeup ultimately turned out! -

Elyssa is absolutely who you should hire for your wedding day hair and make up. Not only is she an exceptionally skilled hair and make up artist, she is a true wedding lover and she was a huge part of making my day so wonderful. Her experience, flexibility, kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to jump in is unmatched. From our 6:30 am start time to when she left after touch ups at 2:30 pm, Elyssa was awesome to have around. She also stayed for the photo shoots to make sure I was looking beautiful despite a very windy day, and helped me walk around without glasses! Elyssa also had a ton of behind the scenes shots from the photoshoot that were so lovely to see.
Additionally, Elyssa brings to the table a great team of hair and make up professionals - we had nine people in both hair and make up and every single one looked flawless. If you’re getting married, Elyssa is your artist! -

Changed my view on professional makeup
I had the luxury of Elyssa doing my makeup as a bridesmaid in a wedding party. I’ve always had a negative connotation associated with getting professional makeup done on myself due to negative experiences in the past, but Elyssa changed my view!
I showed her an inspo pic on the spot and she mimicked exactly what the photo showed with a few personal changes that I wanted.
My makeup lasted through the entire day with not one bit of my natural redness, or the blemish I had pop up the day of, showing through! My makeup felt light and airy, did not “cake” on my face, and truly boosted my confidence. I had reached back out to her to ask what products she used because I was so impressed, and she gave me each and every product she used from start to finish.
Would absolutely reach out Elyssa for any future events! -

Elyssa is one of the most professional and talented people I have met. Everything about our communication with her and the services rendered for my daughter's wedding was seamless and clear. She was organized and patient with our constant changes. She scheduled trials and was flexible and made creative suggestions and never overdid anything, so that hair and makeup were beautiful and natural, but special, and we all looked great! We never had a moment's worry and she was incredibly responsive as well as so kind and genuine to work with. Our hair and make up all held up great even though the ceremony turned out to be rainy! I can't say enough good things about her. Thank you, Elyssa.

If you are looking for a hair and makeup artist for your wedding day, look no further. Elyssa is very talented and great to work with. Everything went smoothly from booking to the trial to the wedding day and everything in between. I even added on my mom’s hair and makeup along the way. On my wedding day Elyssa did an amazing job with both mine and my mother’s hair and makeup. Everything stayed perfect throughout the entire night. Highly highly recommend! -
