Leslie is not only highly professional and experienced, but she is well - known in the industry and the local community. Here vendor recommendations were exceptional! What an INCREDIBLE job Leslie did on our Rye, NH wedding in June, 2024. She is an absolute powerhouse of a woman and made every detail of my vision for our wedding day come to life. Our wedding was a destination, and having Leslie help coordinate things with the vendors in NH while we were stress free in Virginia was a DREAM.

She made every step of the way exciting and her attention to detail is TOTALLY unmatched. She even created and designed the invitations for my wedding that was exactly what I wanted and was also very affordable. The night was everything I imagined. The service was beautiful and the transition to the reception (which was in a different location) was stemless. We had a wonderful experience working with Leslie during the planning process for our October 2023 wedding in Portland, Maine. Being based in the DC area, we knew we needed someone in New England who had a good network of vendors there. Leslie was incredibly effective with helping us secure the best available vendors very early in our planning process, which gave us space to breathe and focus on other details (our guests are still talking about the legend that was our DJ and our amazing photographer). She has a great eye for design and beautifully executed the vision we had for our fall themed wedding. (The pictures say it all!) When we felt overwhelmed with choices, she expertly narrowed our options and made recommendations that we trusted wholeheartedly. And when we realized on our wedding day that something we ordered wasn't delivered, she acted swiftly and fixed the problem without question or stress on our end--and no one would have noticed a difference. We also felt a connection with Leslie which made the whole process more enjoyable. Thank you for everything!

I would give Indigo (and Leslie Estes) 6s on a 5 point scale (if available) for the herculean job she did rescuing our wedding this past weekend during the remnants of Hurricane Lee. We had an outdoor wedding ceremony planned followed by indoor reception and Lee caused us (and Leslie) to scramble in the final 48 hours to rally the reception venue to convert the ballroom into a ceremony venue. The room absolutely sparkled with her extra attention to detail and special touches as she was able to create a space with a warm and loving atmosphere that was truly magical. In addition, her extraordinary people skills helped to calm our frayed nerves on the day of the wedding. In our view, you should hire Indigo as your wedding planner as Leslie's ability to handle the inevitable challenges that arise is absolutely second to none!

Anticipating 2022 would be a crazy wedding season year, we tried to plan as early as we could; Leslie was the one who made it all happen in a year.

Leslie had the vendor relationships here on the Seacoast that we needed to bring everything together - and could articulate my design preferences in a way that would make sense to all of the vendors. You want a cohesive team of vendors who work well together; Leslie has built those relationships over many years.

We got very close in the last six months of planning. She kept our vendor teams on a timeline and was insightful with questions at our meetings. Did I mention it was a CRAZY year for weddings? It took a lot of energy to ensure we hit deadlines from vendors -- or that we didn't run out of rust-colored napkins from our rental company…

She kept me on my timeline as a bride without being the slightest bit overwhelming.

“…I’ve never done this before” was a joke I made a lot.
She told me when we were “overthinking” something - or needed reassurance. When something DOES matter or doesn’t. Personal preference - vs. practical reality.

Another way Leslie is invaluable; being the resident expert to help communicate your details to other family members... who may have preconceived notions or ideas of “how things should be.” Leslie was my trump card every time. She also told me like it is.

Honestly, Some of the best style or decor features from the wedding day were pieces that I let Leslie handle 100%. I recommend trusting her eye and expertise. Invest the money in your wedding planner/designer because it will make all the difference.

Working with Leslie was great, especially since we were planning our wedding from the opposite coast. She helped us create a super fun party for 100 people at an insanely beautiful venue.
