Loved working with Lauren and Toby for our wedding photos. Choosing vendors can feel overwhelming with so many great options out there. I found Lauren through our venues tagged photos on instagram and was immediately drawn to her photography style. Great lighting, framing, captures the emotion, and a good balance of strong subject focus mixed with the surrounding details. Our venue (Tivoli Italian Villa) can have tricky lighting as it loses sunlight, so it was important to me to find someone who knew how to handle that. Not only did I really like Lauren's style, but she has tons of experience shooting at Tivoli which gave me confidence in her ability to work with the space and lighting. Throughout the process, she was easy to reach whenever I had questions and flexible with adjusting the schedule to fit our ideal timeline. I gave pretty minimal day of criteria, mostly just explained the overall vibe I was looking for and a few must-have shots. Otherwise, I trusted her expertise. She delivered on everything and provided great professional guidance along the way. We love our photos and are so glad we chose Lauren

If you need an amazing photographer, who also has a quick turnaround Lauren and her team are your go to. I had the package where it included the engagement photo shoot and that is where I met Lauren. My husband and I are not super photogenic people and with her expertise she made us look amazing. I wish I had Lauren on my wedding day as well but she assured me her team was amazing and amazing that they were. Toby and his team did an amazing job and the proof is in the photos! I love how transparent their pricing was from the get go, how great at communication they were, how quickly I got my photos, and of course how the photos turned out. It’s a once in a lifetime day and you wanna make sure that you have someone you trust!

It was a very rainy day, but Mr. Weston made it flow so easily. He was very responsive the week before and of to make my mind feel at ease. 10/10!!

Rev. Weston crafted a ceremony that felt deeply personal and truly reflected our love story. His warmth and genuine care made the entire process so easy and joyful. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect officiant to begin our married life.

Jacques, was very attentive to details and very responsive when needed. The wedding ceremony was beautiful, both the location and the people involved made it a very memorable day for me and my new wife. Jacques read scripture and prayed for us which meant a lot for us because we both love the Lord !!

Finding a great photographer for our wedding was a priority, and my wife and I are so glad we ended up choosing Toby with Image In Love Photography. We first met Toby at Balboa park for an engagement shoot and we were both immediately comfortable working with him. Toby had a relaxed attitude but was very efficient, and we got to a wide variety of locations within the park in under an hour.

The engagement shoot photos came out great and we know our wedding photos will be amazing as well! On our wedding day, Toby was again a pleasure to work with and made it super easy for us. He was able to get all the shots we were hoping for (getting ready, first look, family formals, bridal party, etc), and he was constantly thinking creatively and moving quickly.

We hired Toby for our engagement shoot last fall and also our wedding in February at the Martin Johnson House. Toby is very punctual and clear in his communication, which we appreciated, and he was able to give us some prompts to loosen up for the camera (which we were nervous about). We are SO happy with the photos! They are even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and it makes us so happy to look through them and remember that special day. He got a good mix of portraits and candids, some playful and some glamorous. We can't wait to get them printed. Everyone who has seen them is blown away and repeatedly comments on how beautiful the photos turned out. The cherry on top is that our package (6h) was extremely reasonable priced! There is so much pressure in finding the perfect photographer for you big day. I am so thankful I found Toby as he literally is the BEST photographer you will ever hire. From the first time we talked until the delivery of our wedding gallery, he has been amazing. He is so easy to talk to and takes all of your opinions in to consideration. He is flexible with working with your budget and your exact needs and creating a wedding package that works for you. We just got our wedding gallery back and cannot even choose which ones we want to get printed because all 1,118 photos are amazing. Our families and friends who have seen the gallery cannot stop talking about how amazing the photos turned out as well.

Not only is Toby an amazing photographer and clearly is the best at what he does, he is so personable and easy to hang out with as well. We did not feel awkward at all during our photos and he made them fun.

Lauren was our photographer for our 9/9/2022 wedding. The weather was not what we expected, but she was able to get some great shots out in the rain. We initially had plans to get some beach photos and then go to another area, but she was prepared with alternative locations due to the weather. She is creative and had us take some fun photos and we received our sneak peeks quickly. We are very excited to see how the remaining pictures turned out.

Toby at Image in Love was fantastic!! His ability to confidently direct a shoot while naturally capturing the moment is unparalleled. Everything from our engagement photo session to our day of wedding activities were top notch and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.
