Loved working with Lauren and Toby for our wedding photos. Choosing vendors can feel overwhelming with so many great options out there. I found Lauren through our venues tagged photos on instagram and was immediately drawn to her photography style. Great lighting, framing, captures the emotion, and a good balance of strong subject focus mixed with the surrounding details. Our venue (Tivoli Italian Villa) can have tricky lighting as it loses sunlight, so it was important to me to find someone who knew how to handle that. Not only did I really like Lauren's style, but she has tons of experience shooting at Tivoli which gave me confidence in her ability to work with the space and lighting. Throughout the process, she was easy to reach whenever I had questions and flexible with adjusting the schedule to fit our ideal timeline. I gave pretty minimal day of criteria, mostly just explained the overall vibe I was looking for and a few must-have shots. Otherwise, I trusted her expertise. She delivered on everything and provided great professional guidance along the way. We love our photos and are so glad we chose Lauren -

Must Have!
If you need an amazing photographer, who also has a quick turnaround Lauren and her team are your go to. I had the package where it included the engagement photo shoot and that is where I met Lauren. My husband and I are not super photogenic people and with her expertise she made us look amazing. I wish I had Lauren on my wedding day as well but she assured me her team was amazing and amazing that they were. Toby and his team did an amazing job and the proof is in the photos! I love how transparent their pricing was from the get go, how great at communication they were, how quickly I got my photos, and of course how the photos turned out. It’s a once in a lifetime day and you wanna make sure that you have someone you trust! -

We hired Toby for our engagement shoot last fall and also our wedding in February at the Martin Johnson House. Toby is very punctual and clear in his communication, which we appreciated, and he was able to give us some prompts to loosen up for the camera (which we were nervous about). We are SO happy with the photos! They are even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and it makes us so happy to look through them and remember that special day. He got a good mix of portraits and candids, some playful and some glamorous. We can't wait to get them printed. Everyone who has seen them is blown away and repeatedly comments on how beautiful the photos turned out. The cherry on top is that our package (6h) was extremely reasonable priced! Thank you so much Toby! We would hire him again and definitely recommend him to anyone in SD! -

Lauren was our photographer for our 9/9/2022 wedding. The weather was not what we expected, but she was able to get some great shots out in the rain. We initially had plans to get some beach photos and then go to another area, but she was prepared with alternative locations due to the weather. She is creative and had us take some fun photos and we received our sneak peeks quickly. We are very excited to see how the remaining pictures turned out. -

Toby was absolutely incredible. Talk about cool, calm, professional, and overall just an amazing photographer. He used my parent's backyard and harsh lighting and managed to create the most beautiful photos. If you are looking for a photographer to put your trust in, Image in Love is the way to go. We felt comfortable from the very beginning with Toby. Whenever I need a photographer in the future, we will be calling Toby! Thank you for capturing all the precious moments; we are forever grateful. -

Perfect wedding photos!
Toby was wonderful for our 2 small Nov 2020 wedding ceremonies (Hindu and American). He captured beautiful moments that we will cherish forever. Toby was easy to work with, very responsive, professional, and flexible with our plans. We loved his candid photo style and he also set us up with some unique and fun photo ideas that turned out great. He captured pre-ceremony, ceremony, family photos, and photos of the two of us in gorgeous sunset lighting. He also edited and turned our photos around quickly. We highly recommend Toby and would love to have him capture more moments for us in the future! -

Outstanding crew, Stunning Photos.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Image in Love Photography. We first met Toby back in January 2019, he did our engagement photos at Sunset cliffs. Toby was easy to work with, answered all the questions during the photo shoot, he made us laugh, and we felt very comfortable, and we had ALL our photos back to us in less than one week! Let me just say, our engagement photos are BEAUTIFUL! My friends and family are still talking about them!
When we decided on our wedding day, I knew the first thing I had to do was book Image in Love for our photos. On the day of our wedding day, Toby arrived early to look at the venue, to check it all out, we were so impressed! He already knew what photos we wanted, he always was there to capture the best moments! He made sure we got all the photos we wanted and more, he has the eye, and his ideas for photos truly are AMAZING! Photos were the most important thing to us on our wedding day, and the photos we have are
the most BEAUTIFUL , natural, stunning photos! I can not say it enough, Image in Love are the best at what they do, and we will always recommend them!

Tobias did a wonderful job as our photographer for our wedding! He was friendly and took charge to make sure we got all of the pictures we wanted. He has a real passion for capturing great pictures. Tobias is creative and got some amazing and unique pictures of our wedding day. We will always have awesome pictures to look back on from our big day. We took family shots with our fur kids at our favorite beach, and I could not imagine how beautiful they would be. Toby talked to us through each pose and it felt totally natural and comfortable. Our doggies pictures were so cute, even though they were uncooperative, somehow he captured them really well. I have never had such beautiful pictures of my little family. Pictures look magical. I'm looking forward to another occasion to have Toby be our photographer. -

Justin Sent on 08/31/2018Toby did an outstanding job covering our wedding from start to finish. We did not need to give him direction at all. He captured all of the moments we wanted and more. Worked his tail off for 9 straight hours. Was on time and professional. Really did a bang up job rallying family and friends during pictures. Also, turned the pics around in 9 days!! Super good dude.

After much searching my wife contacted Tobias with a budget in mind and he meticulously planned out what he could offer us... we chose to do our engagement photos , wedding photography, and he also provided us with a full service photo booth ...
The day of our engagement was a rough drive for him because of traffic but he was in a upbeat mood.. we are people who do not generally crave attention or the spotlight or take a lot of photos but Tobias gave us great direction and his insight into what backgrounds and poses were invaluable ... during the whole photo shoot we could just tell Tobi is passionate about his work and very focused but energetic and fun to be around ..
The day of the wedding he took what must've been a bazillion pictures .. we had a videographer (who btw was also awesome) and Tobias first asked if he could and took leadership and direction for the majority of the pictures when it was difficult for us getting everybody to go where we needed. He worked extremely well with the videographers (sometimes we've heard that at joined events they can clash).. Tobi motioned and directed everyone in the wedding party in various positions both candid and posed and they turned out amazing ...
We cannot express how thankful we are for all the work he put into taking all the pictures we requested .... he really is a master of his craft and has a beautiful vision for what he is capturing .... I can say with 100% confidence that you will not be disappointed booking him ... -

Stacey Sent on 02/19/2018We absolutely LOVED Tobias and Lauren! Most importantly, our wedding pictures were beautiful. Tobias has a really creative eye, and so our pictures looked really unique. When we shared them with our guests, several people raved about how stunning the pictures were. (Not to mentioned we got them back just one week from our wedding. I am pretty sure this is unheard of. All of my friends who've recently been married said they waited months to get their pictures.) Tobias was also very easy to work with. He was simultaneously laid back and detail oriented.
We contacted several photographers in the process of finding someone who was the right fit. Some of the others were a tad more responsive. They wanted to meet for coffee, do a practice shoot, and sent several follow up emails. This is not necessarily Tobias' style, but we chose him anyway because his work was the most beautiful. I can promise that on the day of the wedding (which is what's most important) you will not be disappointed. I would consider myself very picky and would hire Tobias and Lauren again in an instant (and have since recommended them to all of my friends.)
You will not regret hiring them to do your photography! -

We had an engagement shoot with him this past December so we could send out our save the date cards and within one hour we had a ton of beautiful and professional photos to choose from, more beautiful than we ever expected! We finally have some quality photos of us! What's even better? He returned out photos to use within a day and a half, during a busy holiday weekend! He does a great business and I recommend him to everyone looking for some breathtaking, decently priced photos. I still look at them in awe. I can't wait for him to shoot our wedding!
