Ilene was an excellent photographer and a consummate professional! She was such a pleasure to work with. She threw in a mini engagement photo session in addition to the several hours of photography for which we contracted. Furthermore, she was willing to add an additional half hour of photography the week leading up to the wedding, rather than forcing us to pay for an additional hour. She even stayed later than the allotted time to ensure that she photographed the cake cutting. Her personality was chill and the photographs were amazing. I've received so many compliments on the photos, and it's largely due to Ilene's artistic eye and ability to capture the moment. The photos never looked staged, even when they were. I highly recommend her. She offered great quality at a great value.

Ilene was absolutely great! Prompt, flexible, and willing to work with our budget. My husband is not very comfortable in front of the camera so we had an engagement shoot before the wedding. It worked out well! My husband got to know Ilene and he was noticeably more comfortable during wedding photos.

Ilene has become our go-to family photographer! From the start she was very responsive in her emails and very easy going in terms of scheduling and working with our budget. Initially we didn't want an engagement shoot, but Ilene insisted we do one so that we become more comfortable in front of the camera. We were so glad we listened! The engagement shoot really helped us figure out what kind of shots we wanted for the wedding and allowed us to become more acquainted with Ilene. During the wedding day I felt like I had a good friend taking pictures of us --someone I could confide in! Ilene and her carefully selected 2nd shooter where like stealthy ninjas though out the entire wedding-they got ridiculously good shots without us even noticing they were there! However, when we needed them we definitely felt their presence-- they handled organizing both our families for photos seamlessly and Ilene had a big hand in keeping me calm before the ceremony. Ilene has a great presence and is a delight to be around. She sent us wonderful gift boxes before and after the engagement shoot that gave me 100% confidence in her artistic style--such attention to detail and thoughtfulness! Both our families whole-heartedly recommend Ilene!

Ilene Squires was going to do the wedding photos for me a few years ago.  My wedding was unfortunately canceled five weeks before the scheduled date.  I had paid half of the cost as deposit.  Ilene refused to give any partial refund.  Although she was entitled to keep the deposit as part of the contract, her lack of goodwill was disappointing, especially since she was recommended to me by a common friend.  I could not prove that she was not inconvenienced by the wedding cancellation, but based on everything I knew at the time, most likely she was not inconvenienced at all (Of course she would denied this).  I would never do business with her again!
