Lesley did an incredible job with my bridal makeup, as well as my hair! I loved that she did a trial and made it comfortable to discuss feedback and changes that were then perfectly executed on the wedding day. She also did makeup for five bridesmaids and the mother of the groom. We had a tight timeline at the wedding venue and a few girls also wanted hair and she offered to get an assistant to accommodate all the hair updos. I would highly recommend Lesley for both makeup and hair for your wedding!

Lesley did an excellent job. We all looked gorgeous! She provided hair and make up services for my wedding party. She was responsive, professional and talented. I had some notes after the trial and she took them without offense and made sure I was truly happy on the wedding day. I wanted soft, natural make-up and a romantic, textured up-do. Lesley is simply amazing! From the time of booking through my wedding day, Lesley was responsive, professional and lovely to work with. I was hoping for a very natural look and Lesley did exactly that. After my trial, she checked in to see how the makeup felt throughout the day to see if any changes would need to be made for my wedding day. Our wedding morning timeline was tight but Lesley kept everything on schedule and had everyone feeling amazing about their looks. On a morning that could feel stressful, Lesley was a very calming and fun presence to have in the room. I loved how my wedding makeup looked, and I could not recommend Lesley more for wedding day makeup needs!

Lesley did a phenomenal job with the makeup for me, my bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law. She really excels at enhancing natural beauty - everyone looked beautiful but nothing looked too overdone or caked on. In fact one of my bridesmaids, who never wants to get makeup done, actually changed her mind and had Lesley do her makeup after seeing how great everyone else looked. And because Lesley is SO fast, she had no trouble fitting an extra person into our schedule, and we still had time to spare. I hired Lesley to do make-up for my wedding. I stumbled upon her Instagram and then website when searching for make-up and hair artists in Northern Virginia. I was drawn to her make-up style - bold, yet soft and fitting to the natural beauty of the bride. Her prices cannot be beaten and are very affordable if you are on a budget! She was prompt in responding to me (less than a week) and easy to communicate with via email. She was flexible in scheduling a trial and accommodated a change in headcount. She managed to do make-up for 7 women (including the bride, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom) within the allotted time - and it did not feel rushed nor did she seem overwhelmed. Not to mention, she is personable and friendly and makes you feel comfortable and confident! I would highly recommend Lesley for your next event!

Lesley was truly AMAZING. She did also did all the bridesmaids and my mom's makeup and killed it for every single one of us! Having her spend the entire day with us while we got ready was so fun because of her great personality, easy-going yet professional attitude, and her amazing makeup skills. She offers a makeup trial and, as someone who is not super into makeup and doesn't know what they like, she took that opportunity to come up with a look that suited me well and was able to make changes on the spot. From trial to wedding day, she nailed the look yet again! I seriously cannot recommend Lesley enough, I would hire her a million times over!

Finding Lesley was an absolute blessing. I am the type of person who spends HOURS reviewing vendors, looking at photos, and obsessing over every detail. I had a very specific look in mind for the most important day of my life, and I wanted to make sure I went with a makeup artist who brought out my features and made me look naturally beautiful. I absolutely wanted full glam but in the most tasteful way possible, like you would see on the red carpet. Everything I had hoped for, Lesley brought to life. Going into my trial with her I briefly explained what I wanted, showed her a picture of a look she had done in the past, and she took it from there. Truly, I had never felt so beautiful in my life, but I also felt like me. She also accommodated a trial for my mom last minute. My mom is someone who never does her makeup, and was very nervous for the process. Lesley listened to her concerns and what she wanted, and gave my mom a look that she was SO happy with! She was obsessed with the fake lashes and how well Lesley applied them. After our trial, we just kept reiterating to one another how good we looked and felt, and were so impressed by how long the makeup stayed on for!

One of the things I appreciated so much was Lesley’s constant communication with me, she responded to every email quickly and thoroughly. She walked me through her cleaning process, being someone with OCD, I really appreciated her thoroughness and attention to detail. I was also worried about my timeline, we had eight people who needed to get their makeup done within a set amount of time, Lesley walked me through a suggested timeline which made me feel so much better. She truly put a lot of effort into helping me work through many details.

On the day of my wedding, Lesley was extremely professional, super efficient, beyond friendly (she’s the kind of person who you feel like you’ve known for years, but just met) and she did an incredible job listening to everyone’s vision and executing on them exactly, while still keeping a consistent look throughout the party. The entire bridal party, and so many guests genuinely complimented how beautiful and tasteful our makeup was, and how long it lasted for!

The best decision I made was going with Lesley and I can promise you it will be your best decision too! Since my wedding, I’ve been trying to find an excuse to get my makeup done again just so that I can re-create my wedding day look all over again!

I hired Lesley as my makeup artist for my wedding. She also did all of my bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law and my sister in law’s makeup and did an amazing job!
