The Perfect Natural Look
Lesley is so sweet and was very easy to work with from the initial communication until wedding day. She was very patient while I tried to decide on the look I wanted. I tried both regular makeup and airbrush and wound up choosing airbrush. My airbrushed makeup looked so great my mother and mother-in-law decided to get their makeup airbrushed as well and they both loved it. The final look was beautiful natural looking. I would recommend Lesley to any other bride as you will not be disappointed. -

I hired Lesley as my makeup artist for my wedding. She also did all of my bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law and my sister in law’s makeup and did an amazing job! I did a trial with her and changed up what I wanted on the day off and she delivered! My makeup was perfect and I didn’t even have to do any touchups at all. Lesley, thank you for doing an amazing job and making me look and feel amazing on my special day! -

We Love Lesley!!
Working with Lesley was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made! She was recommended to me by one of my bridesmaids due to her great customer service and flexibility. Lesley was very patient with our group and did a great job tailoring her make-up to fit each person's personality and style. We loved having her be part of our morning/getting ready routine. Doing the trail with her was really helpful and a fun process overall - definitely worth it! -

Lesley was not only great at doing all of our make-up at a wedding I was recently at, but she was also awesome to spend the day with. I last minute decided to do a full face instead of just lashes and she was happy to make it happen. We're even going to have her come do a make-up party at one of our girls nights as we enjoyed her so much. Highly recommend to anyone to book her! -

I hired Lesley to do make-up for my wedding. I stumbled upon her Instagram and then website when searching for make-up and hair artists in Northern Virginia. I was drawn to her make-up style - bold, yet soft and fitting to the natural beauty of the bride. Her prices cannot be beaten and are very affordable if you are on a budget! She was prompt in responding to me (less than a week) and easy to communicate with via email. She was flexible in scheduling a trial and accommodated a change in headcount. She managed to do make-up for 7 women (including the bride, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom) within the allotted time - and it did not feel rushed nor did she seem overwhelmed. Not to mention, she is personable and friendly and makes you feel comfortable and confident! I would highly recommend Lesley for your next event! -

Leslie was so great to work with. She did excellent job with everyone’s makeup ( 5 people), she even let me add a additional person the week before the wedding no problem. It wasn’t caked on or too much. I definitely felt like myself but the best version of myself. -

Lesley did a fantastic job for my wedding. Throughout the entire process she was very responsive and accommodating. I had a great trial session with her prior to the wedding where we figured out the look I was going for; she made some excellent suggestions I wouldn't have thought of doing. On the day of the wedding, she arrived promptly and expertly took care of myself and some of my immediate family who wished to have their makeup done as well. Lesley also managed to "soften" a scar I have a my shoulder that would be visible throughout the day. All of us were done on time. In addition to the many compliments from guests, I was really pleased with my look and it lasted throughout the evening! I would definitely use Lesley again for any future important events. Lesley did an incredible job with my bridal makeup, as well as my hair! I loved that she did a trial and made it comfortable to discuss feedback and changes that were then perfectly executed on the wedding day. She also did makeup for five bridesmaids and the mother of the groom. We had a tight timeline at the wedding venue and a few girls also wanted hair and she offered to get an assistant to accommodate all the hair updos. I would highly recommend Lesley for both makeup and hair for your wedding! -

Lesley was a true professional, so easy to work with, and SO talented!! She did such an amazing job on my wedding day makeup, and made me feel so beautiful! Lesley also did makeup for my bridesmaids, and everyone looked so glamorous! Lesley was extremely flexible with last minute changes, and stayed a little longer than originally planned to do touch-ups after my first look. Lesley was truly AMAZING. She did also did all the bridesmaids and my mom's makeup and killed it for every single one of us! Having her spend the entire day with us while we got ready was so fun because of her great personality, easy-going yet professional attitude, and her amazing makeup skills. She offers a makeup trial and, as someone who is not super into makeup and doesn't know what they like, she took that opportunity to come up with a look that suited me well and was able to make changes on the spot. From trial to wedding day, she nailed the look yet again! I seriously cannot recommend Lesley enough, I would hire her a million times over! -

Lesley is so talented!! I am so glad I found her. She is the most patient, talented, and sweetest soul. She did such a stunning job on me and my bridal group! My makeup stayed on all night long, as well as for my bridesmaids! I got so many compliments on how gorgeous my make up was. She listens to every details you ask for, and she puts her magic to work. Lesley was a boss and completed make up for myself plus my 6 bridesmaids and mother. She did an exceptional job and everyone was extremely impressed on her work. She was super friendly, listened to my direction and just did her thing when I wasn't sure what I wanted. She was very responsive and answered all 1000 of my questions. She was very reasonably priced and DELIVERED. I wouldn't hesitate to book her! -

Lesley did an absolutely incredible job on makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom. I originally reached out to Lesley because I loved the makeup looks I saw in her galleries and in reviews; the women always looked beautiful but natural. As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup on a day-to-day basis, I was looking for a soft, natural bridal makeup look. Lesley 100% nailed it; I have truly never felt more beautiful but I also still looked like myself. The makeup held up perfectly all day, despite the 90 degree heat and hours of dancing, and I can honestly say my face still looked flawless at the end of the night.
Lesley was super professional and easy to work with from start to finish. When COVID hit, we postponed our June 2020 wedding to June 2021, and I was so thrilled that Lesley was available for the new date. She was super responsive to email and so accommodating in all things regarding logistics and scheduling. She is also so sweet and down-to-earth, and it was so fun to chat with her while getting glammed up. I would 1000% recommend Lesley to any brides looking for a talented makeup artist that focuses on making each girl feel beautiful without having the makeup be overpowering. -

Easiest decision you’ll make! Lesley is the best there is. She did my makeup on my wedding day along with my 6 bridesmaids. She made myself and everyone feel so beautiful! I told her what time we needed to be ready for pictures and she knew exactly how much time she would need, we never felt rushed and finished with time to spare! Lesley was such a calm, enjoyable, friendly presence to have in the room with us, she felt like part of the bridal party! I would highly recommend her for your makeup needs! -

Lesley was wonderful on my wedding day - she kept all my girls on schedule for make-up (and I wish I had chosen her for hair, too!). She was so sweet and friendly and made sure each person was comfortable and feeling their best. She was incredibly accommodating with COVID and deployment-induced wedding delays and squeezing in a trial when I was visiting from California. I can't recommend Lesley enough! -

Definitely the HYER level of service!
Lesley is so talented. She is fast too! I had a total of 9 people getting makeup done, and every single one of them loved the end result. And it stayed perfectly the entire night— until 1am!! I absolutely loved my look, natural but glowing. Lesley knows how to have a conversation with everyone and she brought levity and playfulness to the morning of getting ready. Lesley is professional, beyond reasonably priced (tbh she should charge more!), and overall the perfect makeup artist for any event. -

Lesley is amazing!!
Lesley did mine and my bridesmaids makeup at my wedding a few months ago, and she was fantastic to work with. There were a few things I wanted to fix after my trial, and she graciously offered to do a 2nd trial, so that everything was perfect! She arrived promptly on the wedding day and all of my girls said that their makeup was perfect and they felt so beautiful! Her prices were reasonable, and I would definitely recommend her services, 10/10!! -

Stop what you’re doing and book Lesley!
Finding Lesley was an absolute blessing. I am the type of person who spends HOURS reviewing vendors, looking at photos, and obsessing over every detail. I had a very specific look in mind for the most important day of my life, and I wanted to make sure I went with a makeup artist who brought out my features and made me look naturally beautiful. I absolutely wanted full glam but in the most tasteful way possible, like you would see on the red carpet. Everything I had hoped for, Lesley brought to life. Going into my trial with her I briefly explained what I wanted, showed her a picture of a look she had done in the past, and she took it from there. Truly, I had never felt so beautiful in my life, but I also felt like me. She also accommodated a trial for my mom last minute. My mom is someone who never does her makeup, and was very nervous for the process. Lesley listened to her concerns and what she wanted, and gave my mom a look that she was SO happy with! She was obsessed with the fake lashes and how well Lesley applied them. After our trial, we just kept reiterating to one another how good we looked and felt, and were so impressed by how long the makeup stayed on for!
One of the things I appreciated so much was Lesley’s constant communication with me, she responded to every email quickly and thoroughly. She walked me through her cleaning process, being someone with OCD, I really appreciated her thoroughness and attention to detail. I was also worried about my timeline, we had eight people who needed to get their makeup done within a set amount of time, Lesley walked me through a suggested timeline which made me feel so much better. She truly put a lot of effort into helping me work through many details.
On the day of my wedding, Lesley was extremely professional, super efficient, beyond friendly (she’s the kind of person who you feel like you’ve known for years, but just met) and she did an incredible job listening to everyone’s vision and executing on them exactly, while still keeping a consistent look throughout the party. The entire bridal party, and so many guests genuinely complimented how beautiful and tasteful our makeup was, and how long it lasted for!
The best decision I made was going with Lesley and I can promise you it will be your best decision too! Since my wedding, I’ve been trying to find an excuse to get my makeup done again just so that I can re-create my wedding day look all over again! -

We were able to discuss the kind of look I was going for, and how I envisioned my wedding makeup. Lesley traveled to my wedding venue the day of the wedding, where she provided me, my bridal party, and my mother with makeup services. Her work was beyond outstanding. All of our makeup was natural, but refined. It was elegant, sophisticated, and lasted the entire evening. Her prices cannot be beat, and she truly makes you feel relaxed on one of the biggest days of your life. She is worth every single penny!! Thank you for everything, Lesley!

As someone who suffers from body dysmorphia, my wedding had me stressed about a bit. Especially knowing all the close up photos of my round face. During the first initial makeup test Lesley was so open to ideas or suggestions. She wanted me to feel comfortable and beautiful for my big day. Even after she finished one look at the test session, she was happy to go back and tweak some things after I asked to be a bit more glam. When the day of my wedding came I was nervous as heck. But being able to sit in Lesleys chair and just let her work her magic was a much needed break and a breathe of fresh air. She made me feel comfortable and listened to. Even after finishing the look she asked if I wanted anything else done or touched up. Having that sort of open communication and understanding was so amazing to experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!! -

Lesley is everything you ever needed in a makeup artist!! She did my trial on the day of a friends wedding which she was SUPER flexible about. I received so many compliments on my makeup that night, it sealed the deal that she was a must for the big day! I had 5 bridesmaids as well as my mom and MIL and she did a flawless job on everyone. My mom rarely wears any makeup and she did an awesome job giving her a look that made her feel comfortable and looked phenomenal. I'm pretty particular when it comes to my makeup too and Lesley absolutely nailed it. Not to mention shes a blast to spend your wedding day with :). I can't recommend her enough!! If you want to look beautiful on your day, Lesley is your gal.
I never thought I could look so gorgeous in makeup as I did on my wedding day, and that was all thanks to Lesley. I am not someone who wears much makeup on a regular basis, so I went into my makeup artist search hoping to find someone who could make me feel glam without looking like someone I didn't recognize. Lesley took my vision and made it a reality and even my family and husband raved about how natural it looked. She also did my 3 maids, MOB, and MOG, and they all looked stunning, no question. She is so responsive and helpful, even letting me do a trial before I booked, being flexible about staying later in the normal wedding time in order to do touchups (because you never know how hot it may be during a July wedding), and let my MIL do a trial as well. She also was so sweet the day of and even pitched in when we were getting some of the group photos done. Lesley is so talented and worth every penny (and probably more). Do not hesitate to have Lesley be your bridal party's makeup artist! -

Hyer Beauty was my top choice for makeup after meeting Lesley at the Piedmont CC open house. She was booked for my original wedding but due to having to postpone my wedding twice due to the pandemic I was able to book her. She did my bridal makeup and bridesmaid flawlessly and made us both look and feel beautiful. My makeup lasted all night long without any touch ups! On the day of our wedding, she arrived early with high end makeup brands such as Too Face, Anastasia, NARS, etc. Some of my bridesmaids were trying to put on their eye last extensions and she offered to help. One bridesmaid made a last minute decision to get fake eyelashes, Lesley was able to accommodate her request. I've never felt more like a princess before. She made me feel very beautiful. The make up lasted throughout the day into the night through all the laughter, dancing, tears, and kissing. I would highly recommend her work! -

Beautiful Wedding Make Up
Lesley was amazing to work with. She was flexible with her schedule to do a trial before my wedding day, and she made me feel comfortable working with her to get the perfect look. Awesome make up for wedding day!
Lesley did an amazing job on my make up for my wedding. She was very flexible with the trial, I told her generally what kind of look I wanted and then I remember being shocked when she was done. It was perfect! The trial and the wedding day make up lasted for hours. Lesley was also so nice and chill, so she was a great presence to have on the wedding day. -
