The Mar Monte Hotel is a place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the romantic surroundings. Couples can start the day off with a breathtaking ceremony with sand in their toes, a sea breeze flowing through their hair, and the Pacific Ocean in the backdrop. A whimsical pergola can easily be set up for them to stand under as they exchange their vows, while rows of white chairs with loved ones seated line up either side of the aisle. When everything is said and done, everyone can head to the fantastic choice of reception spaces inside and outside the hotel. I've had the pleasure of working with Krista and the team at the Hyatt Centric Hotel in Santa Barbara for weddings this past year and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. Krista is wonderful to work with always very responsive and helpful whenever I or my brides/grooms have questions. They are very accommodating with requests and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of before and on the wedding day. As a Wedding Planner I felt very much at ease knowing my couples were in good hands. They took care of many details on the wedding day so I could focus on the couples and the guest experience. I really felt that we were a team working together so everything could flow very smoothly. The hotel itself is in a great location just across from the beach which makes for great photos and people watching. It is close to many local attractions and just minutes from downtown. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is very attentive. The food for the cocktail hour and reception was outstanding. They have a very diverse menu to accommodate a variety of requests and dietary needs. I was very impressed with the quality of the food as well as the professional service from banquet staff. This hotel is a excellent choice for any social gathering, corporate event or wedding especially those who are planning a destination wedding/event who want to give their guests the Santa Barbara experience.
As a wedding planner, who does weddings at many venues, The Hyatt Centric is, without a doubt, an excellent choice. This venue is beautiful, romantic, and has everything a bride could want on her wedding day! Their knowledgeable and talented managers and staff are great to work with and are very professional. The venue has many elegant ocean view banquet halls, AMAZING food and friendly staff that pay attention to details. It is always a pleasure to coordinate weddings there.
