As someone who works in the wedding industry (I'm a photographer), I've admired many florists' work over the years. Holly was on my short list based on work of hers I'd seen, and after speaking with her and a few other florists by phone/Zoom, my planner and I were blown away by Holly's professionalism—head and shoulders over anyone else we talked to.

We had a general vision and mood, but from there, let Holly and her team have control on overall flower choices and other elements, and she used her expertise and flexibility to KNOCK OUR FLOWERS OUT OF THE PARK, without relying on a plethora of expensive stems, but instead what was seasonal and/or available from her own flower farm(!) Late in the process, we weighed a few additions and changes to things like ribbon color, and Holly handled it with grace and ease. She was also so accommodating of me wanting a trial floral crown for my hair trial a month before the wedding, and even arranged for me to send the wire crown from the trial back to her for use on my wedding day.

On our wedding day, not only were the floral arrangements and my personal bouquet and flower crown BREATHTAKING, but Holly and her team were SO professional, and worked beautifully, efficiently, and confidently in our somewhat-restrictive, challenging historic venue.

We heard from our guests over and over again about how spectacular the flowers were. Holly blew us, our planner, and our guests away. People are STILL talking about the flowers, over a month after our wedding.

Words can't even begin to express how amazing Holly and her team are. From the very first day I met Holly at her farm for a design meeting, I knew I made the right decision. Holly is one of the warmest and kindest people I've ever met, and that love and warmth truly comes out in her work. A true visionary, I knew I wanted to give Holly license to just create and dream up something extraordinary with little direction other than general flowers I like. Having my wedding be impacted by COVID and restrictions in place 2 months out, Holly offered for my husband and I to get married at her farm. At the time I declined, because I was so upset and still cautiously optimistic that we'd be able to press forward with our original plans. Little did I know, that wouldn't happen, so two weeks before our original wedding date (May 2020) I agreed and Holly welcomed us with open arms. To make the day more special, she surprised us with take home arrangements for the women in my family who were in attendance and setup a lovely tablescape. The generosity she showed continued to amaze me. Holly and her team hung in with us for another year, as we still were committed to having a larger celebration with even more family and friends, which we were able to do in June 2021. Yet again, Holly dreamed up perfection and I've now gained a friend and floral designer for life. You can't go wrong deciding to work with Holly.

Holly is a true artist! She was incredibly warm and welcoming when we had our first meeting to talk through what would be possible. She took my vision, which mostly contained descriptors of the ambiance we desired (e.g., warm, inclusive, romantic, and natural), and turned that vision into a fairytale. She nailed the vibe we wanted and noted the inspiration we sent to her along the planning process. By giving her, and her team, space to create, she made something that was beyond what we imagined. Her creativity, mixed with her practicality, makes her a great vendor to work with. She was very open about the budget/quote and made sure we were comfortable with everything before signing. We highly recommend her!!

I have been a part of so many weddings where Holly was the florist and have always been amazed. Naturally, she was my first call when I got engaged. She is not only incredibly creative with her designs but she is one of the most generous people. She knew how much peonies meant to me (I got married in August...so a long shot!) and she made it happen. I showed her my mood board and she instantly understood my vision. She went above and beyond our agreed upon scope and surpassed every expectation. I cannot recommend Holly and her team more.

Holly & her entire team were amazing to work with. Their flowers are by far 10x more beautiful than any competitor in the area. They will do anything to make sure your vision is brought to life through their work.

We hired Holly to do the florals for our wedding on 4/6/19 at the NMWA and she exceeded every expectation! My bouquet was incredible -- it was large, full, and so incredibly fragrant. The table arrangements were perfect, as were the other personal flowers.

Holly was wonderful to work with. She is not only professional and knowledgeable, she's also really fun and outgoing, too. We ended up having a bit more flexibility in our flower budget than we initially thought, but Holly was really great at working with us on a budget. She was more than willing to come up with creative solutions so we got a good value and we never felt pressured. She was very honest with us about where we could scale back and where it was worth it to spend a bit more.

Our experience with her was seamless and I'd recommend her to anyone getting married in the DC area.

Holly is incredible and we could not have entrusted a better person for our wedding florals. Truth be told, I'm biased because I've worked with her before–but she got my vision and style dead on and was there to deliver my flowers and I will never forget that moment! Holly and her team provided beautiful florals for our daughter's wedding at Meridian House. Although the venue is beautiful on it's own, the floral arrangements were lovely, and really complemented the space. We would certainly recommend Holly to any future bride!

Holly and her team were incredible. They did the flowers and the event design/look/decor/lighting for our wedding - which was held at my family's horse farm in Middleburg, Virginia. We had 200 guests and the ceremony and cocktail hour were outside and the reception was in a sailcloth tent. Holly took my complete indecision on the look/color and turned it into a dream - above and beyond what I could have imagined myself. She build a custom 20 foot long hanging installation that we got married under, and an equally incredible hanging arrangement over the King's table in the reception. Everyone still comments to me on how beautiful the flowers were - all thanks to Holly! I owe it all to her and her amazing team.

Flowers were not the most important thing on my wedding "want" list UNTIL I met Holly!

I had been following Holly Chapple Flowers on social media for years, as she had worked with several friends and colleagues of mine on weddings that I had attended or seen.
I had always thought her work was stunning, so reaching out to Holly about our own wedding after we got engaged was an easy choice, but I wasn't really sure I wanted to make the flowers the most important part of our big day, or of what "look" I was really even going for in our decor...

Holly and her team did the most AMAZING job in both helping bring our design to life and in executing it to its full potential.
Working with what seemed like a pretty broad color scheme (neutrals, blush, and metallics with pops of burgundy, merlot and pink), Holly used her local, seasonal blooms to design a gorgeous palate that fit our venue and style to a T.

Her experience and knowledge of her craft is obvious just in looking at her work, but her talents and abilities go beyond the aesthetic to make each of her designs unique and personal.
From thinking to include hops in the boutonnieres for my Chef fiancé and his food-industry groomsmen, to matching the ribbons on the bridesmaids bouquets to each of their six different dresses (a look I wasn't even sure was going to come together), every floral design was flawless, and I cannot thank Holly and her team enough for helping make our wedding day so beautiful.
