"omg those spectacular flowers!"

As someone who works in the wedding industry (I'm a photographer), I've admired many florists' work over the years. Holly was on my short list based on work of hers I'd seen, and after speaking with her and a few other florists by phone/Zoom, my planner and I were blown away by Holly's professionalism—head and shoulders over anyone else we talked to.

We had a general vision and mood, but from there, let Holly and her team have control on overall flower choices and other elements, and she used her expertise and flexibility to KNOCK OUR FLOWERS OUT OF THE PARK, without relying on a plethora of expensive stems, but instead what was seasonal and/or available from her own flower farm(!) Late in the process, we weighed a few additions and changes to things like ribbon color, and Holly handled it with grace and ease. She was also so accommodating of me wanting a trial floral crown for my hair trial a month before the wedding, and even arranged for me to send the wire crown from the trial back to her for use on my wedding day.

On our wedding day, not only were the floral arrangements and my personal bouquet and flower crown BREATHTAKING, but Holly and her team were SO professional, and worked beautifully, efficiently, and confidently in our somewhat-restrictive, challenging historic venue.

We heard from our guests over and over again about how spectacular the flowers were. Holly blew us, our planner, and our guests away. People are STILL talking about the flowers, over a month after our wedding.

A true gem

Words can't even begin to express how amazing Holly and her team are. From the very first day I met Holly at her farm for a design meeting, I knew I made the right decision. Holly is one of the warmest and kindest people I've ever met, and that love and warmth truly comes out in her work. A true visionary, I knew I wanted to give Holly license to just create and dream up something extraordinary with little direction other than general flowers I like. Having my wedding be impacted by COVID and restrictions in place 2 months out, Holly offered for my husband and I to get married at her farm. At the time I declined, because I was so upset and still cautiously optimistic that we'd be able to press forward with our original plans. Little did I know, that wouldn't happen, so two weeks before our original wedding date (May 2020) I agreed and Holly welcomed us with open arms. To make the day more special, she surprised us with take home arrangements for the women in my family who were in attendance and setup a lovely tablescape. The generosity she showed continued to amaze me. Holly and her team hung in with us for another year, as we still were committed to having a larger celebration with even more family and friends, which we were able to do in June 2021. Yet again, Holly dreamed up perfection and I've now gained a friend and floral designer for life. You can't go wrong deciding to work with Holly.

Holly Blew Us Away with Her Breathtakingly Beautiful Display

Holly is a true artist! She was incredibly warm and welcoming when we had our first meeting to talk through what would be possible. She took my vision, which mostly contained descriptors of the ambiance we desired (e.g., warm, inclusive, romantic, and natural), and turned that vision into a fairytale. She nailed the vibe we wanted and noted the inspiration we sent to her along the planning process. By giving her, and her team, space to create, she made something that was beyond what we imagined. Her creativity, mixed with her practicality, makes her a great vendor to work with. She was very open about the budget/quote and made sure we were comfortable with everything before signing. We highly recommend her!!

The greatest florist there ever was!

I have been a part of so many weddings where Holly was the florist and have always been amazed. Naturally, she was my first call when I got engaged. She is not only incredibly creative with her designs but she is one of the most generous people. She knew how much peonies meant to me (I got married in August...so a long shot!) and she made it happen. I showed her my mood board and she instantly understood my vision. She went above and beyond our agreed upon scope and surpassed every expectation. I cannot recommend Holly and her team more.

Incredible florals

We hired Holly to do the florals for our wedding on 4/6/19 at the NMWA and she exceeded every expectation! My bouquet was incredible -- it was large, full, and so incredibly fragrant. The table arrangements were perfect, as were the other personal flowers.

Holly was wonderful to work with. She is not only professional and knowledgeable, she's also really fun and outgoing, too. We ended up having a bit more flexibility in our flower budget than we initially thought, but Holly was really great at working with us on a budget. She was more than willing to come up with creative solutions so we got a good value and we never felt pressured. She was very honest with us about where we could scale back and where it was worth it to spend a bit more.

Our experience with her was seamless and I'd recommend her to anyone getting married in the DC area.

Flowers with Love

Holly is incredible and we could not have entrusted a better person for our wedding florals. Truth be told, I'm biased because I've worked with her before–but she got my vision and style dead on and was there to deliver my flowers and I will never forget that moment! Lovely florals

Holly and her team provided beautiful florals for our daughter's wedding at Meridian House. Although the venue is beautiful on it's own, the floral arrangements were lovely, and really complemented the space. We would certainly recommend Holly to any future bride!

Holly and her team were incredible. They did the flowers and the event design/look/decor/lighting for our wedding - which was held at my family's horse farm in Middleburg, Virginia. We had 200 guests and the ceremony and cocktail hour were outside and the reception was in a sailcloth tent. Holly took my complete indecision on the look/color and turned it into a dream - above and beyond what I could have imagined myself. She build a custom 20 foot long hanging installation that we got married under, and an equally incredible hanging arrangement over the King's table in the reception. Everyone still comments to me on how beautiful the flowers were - all thanks to Holly! I owe it all to her and her amazing team.

Flowers were not the most important thing on my wedding "want" list UNTIL I met Holly!

I had been following Holly Chapple Flowers on social media for years, as she had worked with several friends and colleagues of mine on weddings that I had attended or seen.
I had always thought her work was stunning, so reaching out to Holly about our own wedding after we got engaged was an easy choice, but I wasn't really sure I wanted to make the flowers the most important part of our big day, or of what "look" I was really even going for in our decor...

Holly and her team did the most AMAZING job in both helping bring our design to life and in executing it to its full potential.
Working with what seemed like a pretty broad color scheme (neutrals, blush, and metallics with pops of burgundy, merlot and pink), Holly used her local, seasonal blooms to design a gorgeous palate that fit our venue and style to a T.

Her experience and knowledge of her craft is obvious just in looking at her work, but her talents and abilities go beyond the aesthetic to make each of her designs unique and personal.
From thinking to include hops in the boutonnieres for my Chef fiancé and his food-industry groomsmen, to matching the ribbons on the bridesmaids bouquets to each of their six different dresses (a look I wasn't even sure was going to come together), every floral design was flawless, and I cannot thank Holly and her team enough for helping make our wedding day so beautiful.

Holly and her team were incredible throughout the entire planning process and on the day of the wedding! Holly's eye for design is undeniable. She listened to my budding thoughts and ideas and helped me to develop them into a complete vision for the event! I am quite indecisive, so having Holly around to give me her professional insight if needed was invaluable for me. I didn't have too many specific ideas about flowers, and I'm glad I gave Holly some creative liberty with them--THEY WERE STUNNING! Holly and her team were available to meet in person or via phone and email, and their flexibility was very helpful for me as an out-of-state bride. They invested so much time to making the event perfect. Highly highly recommend!

Holly and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with when planning our wedding. Very professional and extremely experienced. After initially reaching our we spoke via phone to get an idea of what type of floral arrangements we were looking for at our ceremony and reception. Holly looked at photos I sent over and we met in person to go over a plan. She knew my venue delivery policies, layout, and put my mind at ease that the flowers would be 100% what we wanted on our wedding day. Alas, it was not meant to be as Snowzilla hit and forced us to cancel nearly all of our wedding festivities. Leading up to the storm, Holly called me several times to check in to see how she could assist. She offered a number of contingency plans even offering to set up the flowers a day before the wedding in the event she could not drive into DC. Ultimately, all of our out of town guests flights were cancelled and our venue shut down. We moved our wedding up a day and to a different location with our parents and a few friends. We were heartbroken. Holly drove in to DC the morning before the storm hit to meet me at the hotel with a couple of bouquets and a centerpiece as well as hugs and encouragement. Those flowers were STUNNING! I cried a bit wishing a could have seen all that she was going to do for our wedding. They were that beautiful and made our entire hotel suite smell amazing when we were snowed in for 4 days. That gesture and willingness to go out of her way for us underscores how she works with her clients. Additionally, they were very easy to work with as we sorted our the billing and a number of matters with our insurance company by providing all necessary documentation without any troubles. We were utterly surprised a number of other vendors were not at accommodating or easy to work with after the unbelievably stressful situation we went through with the storm. Working with Holly was one of the most exciting parts of my wedding! As a world renowned florist /designer, I couldn't wait to see what she would create for my wedding and it was a dream come true. The morning after the wedding I was actually sad to part with my bouquet when we left for the honeymoon because it was THAT beautiful. She even shared some of her very own lilac in my bridal bouquet and it was simply stunning. If you want the best, you must book Holly Heider Chapple. Our daughter was married at the end of February in Washington, DC at the Four Seasons Hotel. Our fabulous event planner Kelley Cannon drove my daughter and I out to Loudoun County, Virginia to meet Holly Heider Chapple. Holly is an inspiring creative genius who created a dramatic wedding canopy (Huppah), and lushly adorned the bride and her wedding party with stunning deeply colorful floral bouquets. However the real magic happened the moment you left the cocktail hour and entered into the wedding reception. I can still smell the flowers, hear the gasps and secretly smile at the dramatic and elegant room that she created for us. The colors and usage of specific seasonal flowers designed and fully opened with votives were breathtaking. There is no other floral designer like Holly. Go up to the Hope Flower Farm and you will see why you will want this team of designers to create your vision. Holly is a must.....

Holly is a flower goddess. She has a way with flora that is unmatched by anyone and we were so lucky to have her be a part of our big day. Holly created the lush, whimsical and romantic florals that I dreamed about for our wedding. My wedding planner, Kelley Cannon, introduced me to Holly and I couldn't have been happier. I put my complete trust in Holly for our wedding. Everything was spectacular. Our guests are still complimenting her work and it's evident that Holly's heart goes into her arrangements. Holly was amazing to work with. I actually went to her place in Lucketts, Virginia a couple of times and spent time with her and Sarah, developing my ideas and coming up with the perfect florals for the wedding at Lansdowne. We asked her to make some last minute changes and Holly and her staff were extremely accommodating and professional throughout the process. I had heard about Holly Chapple originally because she was well known by our venue, Lansdowne Resort. Holly Chapple and her designers make all of their floral designs one of a kind and her creations always have a signature touch. When my flowers arrived to my venue, she did not disappoint. They were jaw dropping gorgeous. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were exactly as I had envisioned them; romantic, textured, full of life and simply beautiful. The compliments I received on my florals from every guest at my wedding showed me that I made the right choice by selecting Holly Chapple for my big day. The guests were blown away. Holly Chapple and her team create breathtakingly gorgeous pieces of art in their floral designs. Holly and her team created the floral design for all parts of my wedding ranging from a gorgeous fabric with greenery draped from the banister of a barn for the ceremony, to small arrangements in bud vases for the cocktail hour, to all the bouquets and boutonnieres, to the place card design and display, and to the elevated floral centerpieces in the wedding reception. Every single item was carefully crafted with every detail after my design session with Holly. Holly was able to translate my variety of ideas into the perfect color palette and design for the wedding. I cannot say enough of how highly I recommend Holly and her team for any wedding floral services you need. Thank you Holly (and Sarah!) for all of your help and support for my big day!

Holly Chapple stepped in when our original florist had a personal emergency and couldn't be there the day of our wedding. We instantly felt at ease with her and her team. It's nice to know that she and a group of independent florists in the area are so supportive of one another, ready to step in at a moment's notice when one person needs assistance. Holly made sure that all of our needs were being met and kept in close contact up to and including the day of the wedding. All of the arrangements turned out spectacularly, just as we had imagined. We absolutely recommend working with Holly Heider Chapple Flowers.

I wasn't an easy bride to deal with because I didn't have a clear picture of what I wanted in terms of flowers. It took me a while to nail down the look I wanted, so Holly and her team were great to work with and delivered a product that was not only exactly what I wanted, but exceeded my expectations. My guests are still talking about how gorgeous the flowers were.

Unbelievably professional, kind, and creative staff lead by Holly Chapple. Designed floral for rehearsal dinner and wedding day including chuppah, rose wall (to be used for escort cards and then photo backdrop), centerpieces, bar decor, ceremony, and cocktail hour decor. My bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were over the top - Holly got me peonies in AUGUST when they're not even in season, sourcing from all over the country thanks to her incredible relationships. If you are considering Holly Chapple to provide floral or design services for your wedding, do yourself a favor and email or call her right now. This woman is a true artist with vision, energy, enthusiasm, and passion. She was the keystone for our wedding planning, and it resulted in the most incredible day for our family and friends.

We used Holly not only as a florist but as a design collaborator. Yes, her flowers are incredibly beautiful, whether ordered from afar or from her own back yard. Yes, she can look at your Pinterest and instantly impress you with photos of her work that match exactly what you're envisioning. Yes, she will flood you with ideas and solutions and choices and options all while laughing and smothering you with positive energy. But at her core she is a designer. After listening to our wishlist, she was instrumental in helping us gather a team of vendors that created an overall look and feel. When there were minor differences of opinion, she listened and responded with the utmost professionalism. She thinks in broad strokes and themes, but she executes with precision and detail.

When the day finally arrived, our guests walked into the most magical setting. Flowers were considered a central part of our celebration, and Holly truly gifted us with her work and vision. We can not say more incredible things about this woman, and when we host private parties in the future, she will be on the list of people we call.

I really could not say more wonderful things about this vendor. Holly & her staff were over the top helpful, responsive, professional, just amazing!!! We discussed the floral arrangements for the wedding over the phone, through email, and I was even able to provide her with some of my ideas straight from Pinterest. When wedding day came, I could not even begin to tell you how beautiful our flowers were. Truly blow away. We had 9 bridesmaids bouquets, 10 groomsmen boutonnieres, flower barrettes for the flower girls, boutonnieres for the ring bearers & father of the bride, and most importantly my gorgeous bridal bouquet. We were so lucky to be able to have these flowers on our wedding day. Working with a tight budget, I didn't think we would be able to afford anything great. Until I found Holly Chapple Flowers website, and saw that if you're willing to trust the florist and use only seasonal flowers from her garden, you could get a real bargain! Our flowers were absolutely exquisite and because they were seasonal & local they matched our outdoor Virginia wedding perfectly. The best part is, they were a total surprise to us! They felt like a gift.
We saved even more money on the delivery when my brother in law went to pick them up on the wedding day.
Would book with her again in a heart beat!!

I wish I could give Holly and her team 10 stars. They were an absolute pleasure to work with in every single way. Responsive, professional, kind, thoughtful, helpful, everything! Holly is amazing and made beautiful arrangements for us out of what was growing in her garden and we couldn't have been happier. We also didn't want to use a traditional mandap, so Holly designed one for us in a chuppah-style and guests can't stop praising how stunning it looked. Holly takes such joy from her work and that is clear in every interaction with her and everything she does. I just wish I had another event coming up so I could use Holly again!!

Holly and her team were fantastic to work with. She worked with me and my wedding planner to come up with a beautiful flower concept that incorporated elements that I had in mind, fit my budget, and somehow perfectly (I think) captured April in northern Virginia with cherry blossoms and dogwoods. She made adorable floral collars for our two dogs and each element of the florals really showed a personal touch. She was also dry flexible, working with me in the weeks leading up to the wedding to refine things. Also, a big shout-out to Holly's husband, Evan. He did the lighting in the barn where we had the reception and it looked fantastic!

Although our hotel venue is gorgeous, we knew it would need some help from florals to become something more special for our wedding. Knowing that, finding a good florist was one of our top priorities. We met with multiple florists and were becoming dejected, as we didn't feel a connection with any of them.

Then, one of our friends put us in touch with Holly and we were lucky enough to meet with her that same day; she was even nice enough to come into the city to meet us and see our venue. Upon meeting Holly, I can honestly say that we were instantly comfortable with her. Not only is she personable, warm, and charismatic, her professionalism and passion for her work is strongly evident. She has a unique ability to offer her professional opinion and own creative ideas all while still keeping within the realm of our vision and respecting our likes and dislikes. When we booked with Holly, we knew that we would get nothing short of spectacular and what we actually got, wholly exceeded anything that I ever could have envisioned.

Our entire venue was filled with some of the most beautiful blooms that I have ever seen - I think this really speaks to the high quality that Holly ensures her company delivers. From the bouquets to the centerpieces to the flower girl baskets, everything was beautiful and perfect in its own way - the florals transformed the room into a classy, elegant, yet whimsical fairytale-like space all at the same time. I was very specific, and admittedly picky, about the blush of our color palette and throughout consultations, Holly made sure that she knew what I meant. And, of course, all the blush blooms were the exact color that I wanted.

As soon as we picked the wedding date, we knew we had to talk to Holly about flowers! I had seen pictures of her designs in magazines and thought they were just beautiful! Holly is incredibly creative and the designs she created for our ceremony and reception were absolutely breathtaking! From the bouquets and boutonnieres to the ceremony and reception flowers, Holly’s designs were so detailed and original! They surpassed what we were expecting and were absolutely stunning!

Holly is absolutely the best!!! She and her team brought my wedding vision to reality, and beyond! I emailed Holly when I first began the planning process, after seeing some of her work online. She called me the next day and just wanted to chat and get a feel for what I had in mind. She was lovely from the first conversation, and I felt like I was talking to a friend!

We met with her in her studio a couple of months later, and she completely understood my vision and gave fantastic suggestions to make my arrangements "Hollyish." We met a second time closer to the wedding date and finalized any changes or updates. I loved all of her previous work so I knew she would do an amazing job. We gave her our color preferences and style, and let her use her talent and creativity to come up with our arrangements.

The results were absolutely breath-taking. From the centerpieces, to the bouquets, the boutonnieres and corsages, every detail was perfect. We had a vineyard wedding, and Holly and her team arranged two beautiful arrangements for us to place on the wine barrels for our outdoor ceremony. They were the most amazing focal points for our gorgeous Vineyard backdrop.

I cannot say enough good things about Holly, she is hands-down the BEST in Loudon county, and I would highly recommend her for the most beautiful arrangements you can imagine!!

Holly and her team are just wonderful. Her flowers are gorgeous and I still can't believe they were at our wedding - better than I could have dreamed of for our big day. My mother and I looked at more flower vendors then I knew was possible and I can't be happier that we chose Holly! I don't think I can do justice to the beauty of Holly's creations with words. I only had one meeting with Holly and a phone call during which I showed her a few examples of what I was looking for and described the look I hoped to achieve, and somehow she perfectly captured my vision but also delivered flowers that were more beautiful than I ever expected. Everyone at the wedding raved about them, especially my bouquet, and a month later my mom is still gushing about how perfect they were. I wish I could have frozen every bouquet and centerpiece and kept them forever! Holly is a creative genius and she is worth every penny. MY FLOWERS WERE STUNNING!!!!! Every flower in every arrangement, centerpiece, bouquet, courage and boutonniere were fresh, vibrant, full and yes, STUNNING. I was so incredibly happy with how her flowers completely transformed my rustic barn by adding those pops of bright color that I had wanted. All everyone kept saying was how beautiful it all was and how beautiful the bouquets were. Mine weighed a ton but hey... totally worth burning all a few calories for that bright beautiful cluster and pick, orange and green.

Holly and Evan were an absolute pleasure to work with, and the flowers that Holly and her team provided for our wedding were STUNNING. Holly really took the time to sit down with me in the months leading up to our wedding and pull out of my brain exactly what I was looking for (even if I hadn't the slightest idea how to describe it to her!). She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable in her home office and to make sure that she had every little detail perfect for our day, and called a couple of days before to double-check again as she was finalizing the last details. Holly and her team on the day of the wedding were prompt and professional during the delivery and clean-up, and Holly even stopped in to chat briefly with me to make sure I was happy with how everything turned out. This is the groom, Alex. I'll start by admitting a bias: Holly is my mom. But I genuinely believe that fact doesn't interfere with my ability to form an opinion about her work. Why? Because I've seen her business--based in our home--grow over the last two decades. Over this period of time, I've seen my mother perfect her craft and strengthen her creativity muscles. Further, being "bred into the wedding industry" has given me ample opportunity to see the competition. Sure, on some subjective level, I will always think my mom is the best because she is my mom. But there are objective reasons to call her the best, too: she gives her customers more blooms per dollar than the competition; she is an extraordinary listener who can convert her customers' dreams--no matter how poorly articulated--into floral designs and amazing styles; and she is always branching out to try new things--find exotic blooms, use unusual containers, etc.--which gives her customers' flowers a rare uniqueness. This uniqueness will stand out to every wedding guest and other vendor, adding a quality of awe to the marrying couple's special day. My mother and my father, who has a growing pipe and drape and lighting business of his own, pushed the envelope on my special day. Mallary and I had flowers hanging from every possible inch of the barn at Silverbrook Farm, an Edison-light lit and ribbon-adorned aisle-way for the ceremony, and special themes for each dining table and our dessert bar. Their styling work made each of our guests say it was "the best wedding I've ever seen." That's exactly what you want to hear after all the time and energy you spend planning your big day. I highly recommend my parents for your special day. And don't let my bias fill you with doubt--there are plenty of other perfect reviews on Wedding Wire backing up my claims!

Holly is a true artist and wonderful person. She worked hard to understand exactly what I wanted and met/spoke with me many times to be sure she was clear about each arrangement from the tiny boutonniere for the ring bearer to my amazing bridal bouquet. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! From the very beginning I told Holly that I did not care what the flowers looked like and that I had no idea what I wanted because I am not a flower person. I couldn't ever tell the difference between "good" flowers and "bad" flowers...until now. My bouquet blew me away. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. That's not only what I said, but when each of my wedding vendors saw the flowers, they all said the same thing! I gave her a picture as a jumping off point and she took it from there. Holly is AMAZING. I found her on a wedding blog and I knew I had to have her part of my wedding. The morning of my wedding I could not wait for my flowers to arrive and she did not disappoint.

Holly did a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding. I knew the 'feel' I wanted, but didn't really know the names of the flowers I wanted to include. Holly went through a very painstaking process with me of making numerous suggestions, sending me photos, etc., until she had a good idea of what I liked and didn't. She met with me in person for a couple of hours, and then closer to the wedding, spent about another hour on the phone going over all of the arrangements. She was really patient and professional. The end result was that the flowers looked amazing - exactly what I wanted and everything looked great. She doesn't use a single bud that doesn't look healthy and vibrant. She really does care about getting it right!

Both my DJ and Photographer recommended Holly as our florist - and I luckily followed their advice and the comments from another WeddingWire review, which was: Don't think, just hire Holly!! And I'm so glad I did. Holly and her team are amazingly talented. I had trouble envisioning what I wanted for my flowers - and don't know a lot about them - but during our consultation Holly was able to pull it out of me and bring it to life. I gave over complete trust to her, and the flowers were amazing. My bridal bouquet took my breath away. All the flowers were so fresh and we received many compliments from our guests. Holly gives special attention to all her brides; she really cares about making everyone's day special. She had several weddings the weekend of my own but mine shined like all the others. You can trust her completely to provide you with fresh, gorgeous, and unique designs. Her talent comes at a little bit higher price than other florists, and the sky is the limit with what she is capable of, but I had a budget she helped me stay within and I feel I got my money's worth. If budget is not an issue, hire her and her husband to design the whole wedding - the pics I have seen on her blog are amazing! I am the mother of the bride. Holly and Evan created a magical setting for my daughter's barn wedding. A violent storm blew through about an hour and a half before the wedding and they jumped in and helped the caterers and other vendors to get everything set up. They changed the ceremony site at the last minute. They decorated the barn beautifully. They even grew cotton because my daughter wanted cotton in the flower arrangements. It was gorgeous. They did everything they could to make this the most memorable day for my daughter and her new husband and all of our guests. I was getting compliments on the flowers, decorations and the setting from our guests all night!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I truly was blown away the day of my wedding. Holly captured every detail that I was looking for on my wedding day. The Chuppah that they built was stunning and absolutely perfect in every way. In first meeting Holly you want to hug her. She is such a personable individual that you feel as you have known her your whole life. Her work is absolutely gorgeous and she is at her best when you let her run with it. I told Holly the colors I was thinking but wasn't dead set on style and arrangement just nothing that looked like a ball. =) She nailed exactly what I wanted with me not even having to say it. She's just that good! I did not want to put my bouquet down the whole night because it was just too beautiful. Thank you Holly for creating such amazing floral arrangements and bouquets. I absolutely love her work and will be using her again!

I just can't say enough about Holly and her team. They are fantastic. They were full wedding planners for my wedding- coordinating with vendors beforehand and day-of, and implementing all of the event design, lighting, and flowers.

Because of the weather on my wedding day, the event seemed almost doomed- there was a torrential downpour, 50mph winds, and thunder and lightening all over the place. But no. Holly and her team came to the rescue. Other wedding were completely rained out, flooded, winds ruined flowers and arrangements, but Holly somehow kept our wedding safe, dry, and completely BEAUTIFUL. And we somehow managed to still have our ceremony outside- amazing.

I gave Holly a lot of freedom (ie I told her the colors and the theme but nothing too specific) and boy did she deliver. I seriously walked into my barn venue and my jaw dropped. It was out of a dream or a fairytale. This space was completely transformed with so many tiny little details to notice. She is so creative with her floral arrangements and overall design.

On top of her ability to execute a FABULOUS event, she is simply a lovely person. She obviously loves what she does and goes above and beyond her duties to ensure that you are completely happy with her product. She was calling me the week of the wedding saying things like, "Oh, I just couldn't help myself, I saw this antique corn husker and just had to buy it to use as a prop for your wedding." Now that is service, and that is sweet.

I would recommend Holly in a heartbeat to anyone that asks. She is simply the best in the business.

Holly and her team are amazing!!! The flowers were beyond anything I could have imagined...they were amazing!! I would have another wedding with my husband just to have more of Holly's flowers!! She is definitely worth every penny!

Holly's flowers are simply stunning. Everyone at my daughters wedding commented on how beautiful the flowers were; from the pomanders at the ceremony to the exquisite centerpieces. My daughters wedding was held at Oatlands Plantation and Holly was able to make the gardens even more beautiful! Her magnificent urn for the ceremony was truly spectacular, and the pomanders lining the aisle just lovely. Holly was able to match the bridesmaids shoes perfectly in their bouquets, and my daughters bouquet was exactly what she wanted. The centerpieces, both tall and short, were fabulous and guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful all our flowers were. Holly was great to work with, and most accommodating. She has extensive experience and knowledge and is very helpful with her suggestions for flowers. Flowers were a very important part of the wedding for my daughter, but we frankly don't know a lot about flowers, so Holly's expertise was really important to us. Holly even grew sweet peas for the wedding, as this had sentimental value for my daughter. I would highly recommend Holly for your wedding; you won't be disappointed.

Holly was the most wonderful florist. Her arrangements were absolutely stunning and she made sure that any tiny details were included. My father calls me Sweet Pea and Holly took that and put sweet peas in his boutonniere and throughout some of the arrangements. Holly herself is great to work with. She is bubbly, funny, enthusiastic and really wants to make your day special. It seems she gets booked up quickly so if you want her to be your florist, make sure she is one of the first vendors you hire when planning your wedding.

Holly's work is unbelievable. My bouquet absolutely took my breath away and the flowers for my bridesmaids were GORGEOUS. The decor was amazing at our reception venue and everyone was raving about the flowers. Couldn't recommend Holly more highly!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Holly. I really enjoyed meeting with Holly to plan for the big day, and she helped me really focus my ideas and vision for the day. She also gave me a lot of great ideas since I wasn't quite sure what exactly I wanted with flowers. The designs she and her team created looked even better than I could have imagined. The colors were vibrant, the designs were unique, and everything was just so perfect. Holly was easy to work with, responsive to the thousands of questions I had, and everything happened on time and without problems. If you want really amazing and creative designs, you should definitely choose Holly!

Holly recently did our wedding flowers. Our flowers were the most wonderful, breathtaking, FABULOUS flowers. I had bright pink and white flowers. Holly did amazing things with all the flowers, from the boutineers, bouquets, and centerpieces. My bouquet was BEYOND amazing and had beautiful unique features that set it apart from any others. Holly was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is so creative and artistic. She took my vision and far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Holly to any bride!!!!

The flowers Holly and her team provided for our wedding were beautiful!!! Even though I did not go for the full Holly treatment (I didn't have floral centerpieces) - I still felt like Holly put her heart into my flowers. When people see pics of the day, they ALWAYS comment on my bouquet. I definitely recommend Holly.

Holly turns flowers into works of art! Not to mention, she is the sweetest lady on the face of the planet. She was one of my favorite vendors to work with. She just has this magic air about her that just draws you in. I met with two florists before her and one after, but I knew right away she was the one for me. The florist I met after her didn't even have a fighting chance.

Our table arrangements were spectacular to say the least. They were all high, and they had beautiful yellow orchids inside the stems of the vases. They were lush and full, as are all of Holly's arrangements and bouquets. She is pricey, but it is totally worth EVERY penny. Especially because you get so many flowers! And she is very willing to work with you on costs. My bouquet was perfection, and she included every detail I asked for. My mother had saved baby's breath from my first flower arrangement when I was born, and we incorporated the dried baby's breath into my bouquet. I also had a hat pin from my grandmother's collection and my stem wrap was a lace bible cover that my other grandmother gave me at my baptism. My bouquet was full of meaning and Holly made it absolutely beautiful!

If flowers are a high priority for your wedding, go with Holly. She will make your wedding and the whole planning experience truly magical.

Holly Chapple lived up to her reputation at our daughter's wedding on May 19, 2012. All her arrangements were gorgeous. She was able to duplicate the look that we were looking for. We met with her several times and she really listened to what our daughter wanted. Not only are her flowers beautiful, but the creative way she displays them is unbelievable. Thank you again, Holly, for your memorable designs !!!!

I can not say enough about Holly. I knew from the moment I first looked at her work online that she was the only person who could make my wedding dreams come true. She is a brilliant artist and her work at my wedding was beyond words. Check out her blog (thefullbouquet) to see the thank you I wrote for her after my wedding. She puts love into each piece she puts out and she is the most generous and loving vendor I have come into contact with. She even called to apologize for not coming to my wedding herself! If you love lush, romantic, whimsical work...look no further. And if that is not your style, she can work wonders with ANYTHING. She is the only florist DC brides should use.

The flowers for my wedding were absolutely gorgeous! Holly and her crew did an amazing job! I gave her freedom to design whatever her heart desired and she couldn't have done a better job. I could not wait to see what the flowers for my wedding were going to look like, and Holly exceeded my expectations times 100. How many girls actually burst into tears when they see their bouquet? My wedding was two weeks ago and I'm still so, so happy thinking about the flower arrangements and bouquets designed and provided by Holly Chapple. Everything at the wedding was gorgeous. I received so many compliments on the chuppah, the bouquets, the flower arrangements, and even the boutonnieres! She asked a lot of good questions and spent a long time with me and my mom going through pictures of flowers to help her figure out what kind of flowers I wanted at the wedding. She's friendly, nice and takes a lot of interest in getting to know her brides. She even called me a few days before the wedding to say hello and just make sure everything was going well! She was also very attentive to sticking to our budget.

Holly and her team provided flowers and draping for our barn/vineyard wedding. Everything was amazing! We only had one meeting where I only described the colors I had in mind, and they created the most beautiful floral creations I've ever seen and better than anything I could imagine. They also did the chiffon draping to soften up the barn where our reception was and it made the biggest difference. Everything was done so professionally, cannot recommend her enough!

Holly and her staff were incredible! Friendly, professional, super creative... you can definitely tell they love brides and weddings! Holly is a very, very talented designer (arguably the best in the D.C. area), and it showed. My wedding flowers were so special, they took my breath away. Holly and her team are AMAZING. I had an unusual request to add fruits and vegetables to my bouquet (I'm a nutritionist) and she went above and beyond. She pulled from her vast knowledge of plants to also find foliage that looked like produce and make it cohesive with the color scheme and requested flowers.

I used Holly's Petals To Go program for my Friday wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased! I met with Holly to discuss the look and feel of the wedding at a consultation and we picked out all of the flowers for the bouquets and boutonnieres. Because I wasn't looking for a bunch of flower arrangements, just a few but a fabulous few, this was a wonderful solution for us! Holly does amazing work and everything she creates is beautiful, total eye candy I tell ya! Holly also let me add in 8 centerpiece arrangements just a couple of weeks before the wedding. Our wedding was at the beginning of October which is an extremely busy time for wedding vendors, but Holly was happy to work with me and added the extra flowers and even called a few times to make suggestions on flowers we hadn't included originally to make it all a cohesive design. She is a true professional and an artist and I would have gone with anything she suggested, if you've looked at her bouquets online you'll know why I say that. The program does not include delivery and set up, but that was ok with us. We had a friend and the Day-Of Coordinator pick up the flowers and there were no problems. I also had my bouquet pressed and it's on my wall at home where I get to enjoy it every day. Thank you for everything Holly!!!

In my opinion Holly is the absolute best florist in the area. Each time we met with a new vendor and they asked us who our florist was, they always responded with “Holly is the best”. She was able to take my thoughts and turn them into the perfect flower arrangements. I also loved her because she knew what she was talking about and would voice her opinion if she thought mine or my mom’s ideas wouldn’t turn out the way she thought we envisioned it. We needed that certainty and I loved that about her! I trusted her completely when she emailed me a week before the wedding and said that she thought we should add another muted color to the arrangements to make the flowers look more cohesive. My jaw dropped to the floor when the flowers arrived the day of the wedding. They turned out more beautiful and more unique looking than anything I had ever imagined. So many of my guests commented on the gorgeous flowers and submerged blossom and floating candles that she used for the ceremony. She is definitely worth the money.

Holly's flowers and arrangements surpassed my expectations. The flowers used were of top quality and the arrangements and bouquets were the most beautiful I had ever seen - very original and very classy. They were abundant, lush and fresh - you truly get value for what you pay. Her work was one of the main highlights of the wedding; everyone commented on the flowers. Even the smaller arrangements for the smaller bar or side tables looked as though a tremendous amount of thought and effort had been put into them.

I also found Holly to be very communicative and flexible, and her suggestions and advice throughout the process were invaluable. We looked at many wedding florists in the DC/VA/MD area, and Holly's arrangements, friendliness and professionalism surpassed all of the others by far.

Holly Heider Chapple and her staff added the beautiful touch of exquisite and varied fall flowers to our daughter's wedding in late September at Whitehall Manor! Everyone has commented on how lovely the flowers were - even down to the arrangement of flowers spiraling down the wedding cake. Holly was great to work with and helped us smooth over an oversight I made in the initial order, working with us to make it perfect for Meg and Greg. Each arrangement was original and unique in the choice of flowers and adornments used. Holly's artistic skill and her staff's efficiency and professionalisn on that day made for a fantastic experience for us. Holly even kept in mind the groom's distaste for the BRIGHT ORANGE color and created a superb blend of colors to produce a perfect "fall" feeling. Thank you, Holly and all!

Holly's floral designs were absolutely stunning. From the boutonnieres to the centerpieces to the bouquet, everything was gorgeous - and impeccably styled. Holly's extensive knowledge of flowers - coupled with her boundless creativity - make for an engaging consultation. And, the end result is exactly as she describes and beyond.

For my wedding, we talked with Holly about sprucing up the ceremony space and using larger arrangements in wooden crates with flowers and apples, and while I wasn't exactly sure what would arrive on the day of the wedding, I trusted Holly's vision and they were beautiful!

What's great about Holly is her passion for her work -- and it shows in her exquisite designs. She really excels in her use of unique combinations of materials - for example, for my bouquet, Holly used a combination of flowers, scabiosa pods and blue thistle, and it looked amazing.

And, to top it all off, Holly is a sweet person with a great personality. She's very easy to work with and she is a truly creative and professional businesswoman.

I highly recommend Holly and would love to work with her again!

Holly Chapple is a genius when it comes to flowers. After seeing her blog and pictures of her work, I knew I had to work with her, even though I didn't know much about flowers and at times wasn't quite convinced I knew exactly what I wanted. Holly was patient, listened to what I liked and disliked, and helped me decide what the vision would ultimately be for the arrangements. I had no doubt that she would be able to deliver. When she showed up on the wedding day and presented me with my bouquet, I was in tears. And then, after seeing the arrangements at the church and the reception, I was totally blown away. She created much more than I had hoped for, and I will always remember the flowers from the wedding because of her. Thank you Holly!

Absolutely the most perfect color combinations and variety of flowers I have ever seen at any wedding! Totally made the room "come alive".
Very professional, yet very personable. My daughter didn't know exactly what she wanted, but had an image in her mind...just by chatting with Holly for a short while, Holly was able to choose just the right flowers for all the "parts" of the wedding day. I (the mom!) am very hard to please, and I am very picky, but the flowers for this utmost important day in my daughter's life were very perfect. On a quick side note, it was 105 degrees the day of the wedding, and the ceremony was outside (!), but the flowers held up beautifully. Quite a feat in itself!

Holly and her team are amazing! Not only do they treat each bride as if she is their only client, they go the extra mile to really make the day perfect. The wedding planning process can be stressful but Holly takes the time to help wherever she can, and ease the stress that often comes with being "The Bride."
