We chose the Holiday Inn Express for our accommodations for both myself/my husband as well as our family and friends who were traveling in for our wedding. Our sales coordinator, Debra was very nice and willing to work with us on what we needed. She was able to add/remove rooms as needed and was more than willing to have her team hand out the welcome bags we left at the front desk for each of the guests who were staying in our room block. The front desk staff when we checked in that day as well as all throughout our time there was welcoming, very nice and helpful with any questions we had regarding places to eat, shop or directions! The only issues we had were that the jets in our jacuzzi room/bridal suite were not functioning and the older gentleman (evening front desk clerk) who was there on the last day of everyone's stay was very rude to my family and friends. It was a Sunday evening and we were gathered in the breakfast room of the lobby watching the football game. It was everyone's last night together before we all left the next morning to go back to our homes (which are all spread out across the country, so we very rarely all spend time together). He was shushing us the entire time for being too loud and then kicked everyone out and made us all go to our rooms like children because we were "disturbing the guests" (even though he could not confirm that he had even had any complaints - Which I don't believe he did). It didn't matter that the hotel was having some type of construction work or something done at 5 or 6:00 in the morning that was probably disturbing people, but it was our good time we were having spending time together. It kind of put a damper of an end to our wonderful time we all had there.Sent on 07/22/2015
