Hobnob Occasions is an event planning and design company with unique rentals such as rustic farm tables, benches and vintage furnishings. Hobnob Occasions is not your typical event planning and design team. Let’s pull up a chair and work side-by-side to combine your vision and unique style with our “think outside the box” perspective. Outstanding service, experience and a real desire to see your vision come to life is what sets us apart.

Services Offered

Wedding Coordination
This service is sometimes referred to as “month of coordination”. This is for the couple who wants to plan their own wedding but needs guidance in planning, hands-on assistance during the last critical month and a trusted friend on the week of the wedding and throughout their wedding day to run with their plans so they can be free to celebrate. We will work behind the scenes and on the sidelines to make sure that you and your guests have an unforgettable experience.

Wedding Design
Whether it’s creating fabulous table settings, decorations or providing the perfect pieces to use, let us do the work to bring your vision to life. Our team will design and style your space on your special day.

Unique Rentals

We offer a selection of unique rentals such as farm tables, benches, chairs, mismatched china and other carefully, curated decor items. We also offer "porch pick-up" for many of our rentals. Go to The Goods section of our website to start your wishlist.

Excellence

I do not have enough words to describe how amazing Hobnob Occasions is. Johnna went above and beyond!!! My entire wedding party and guests had the best things to say about her and her team, noticing her attention to detail, her organization, her professionalism, communication, and more. She made everything leading up to our wedding so much more enjoyable and easier than it would've been otherwise. She thought of things that I wouldn't have even thought to think about. She is trustworthy and has a high level of excellence. There is no other planner I would ever pick!

Excellent experience

My mom and I did not think we needed a planner or coordinator for my wedding. We decided to bring someone on board as a day-of coordinator so we could relax on the wedding day. We ended up being blown away by how much Johnna improved our experience. She was engaged with us in the months leading up to the wedding far more than we would have expected, and even helped us make a few key decisions (for example, hiring an outside bartender) that saved us considerable money. Her knowledge of event planning and her high level of organization were on display at every turn. Frankly, hiring Hobnob was probably the single best planning decision we made. Highly recommend!

Love the Hobnob team!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Hobnob Occasions for our nonprofit gala hosted at Raleigh Union Station on April 27th, 2023. I am thrilled to say that our experience with the event planning company was exceptional. From the moment we engaged with them, Johnna and Andrea, the event coordinators from Hobnob Occasions, were an absolute delight to work with. They displayed a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for their craft. They understood the importance of our cause and went above and beyond to ensure that our event was a resounding success.

One of the highlights of our collaboration with Hobnob Occasions was their ability to manage vendors seamlessly. Johnna and Andrea effortlessly coordinated with all the vendors involved, ensuring smooth communication and efficient execution.
