Hilton President Kansas City is a hotel wedding venue located in Kansas City, Missouri. This elegant building was inspired by the 1920s and boasts accouterments that showcase the glamour of this era. This hotel is within a five minute walk of the Sprint Center and provides complimentary WiFi access. There are two on-site restaurants as well as the famous Drum Lounge that caters to a variety of clientele. When couples and guests choose to stay at Hilton President Kansas City, they will be able to have their choice of in-room dining experiences.
Facilities and Capacity
Hilton President Kansas City has exceptional spaces for meetings, functions, and weddings. Here, couples are able to make use of over 12,000 square feet of event space. Anywhere from 10 to 350 individuals will be able to help a couple celebrate their special occasion. Depending on their needs, couples will be able to choose from 11 rooms, each with varying capacities. The Congress Ballroom is the largest, being able to fit a maximum of 350 seated guests. Alternatively, the Aztec room provides space for up to 150 people, and the Congress Pre-Function room is well suited to 100 individuals. Each of these rooms features opulent lighting fixtures as well as stunning architectural designs. The Congress Ballroom has golden accents along with black and white marble floors that are perfect for dancing the night away. Various seating styles can be accommodated based on the couple's demands, making the event space at Hilton President Kansas City extremely flexible.

Best Bang for your Buck
I was pleasantly surprised at how far each dollar went. The pricing here is comparable to other empty, industrial-style venues. Because the hotel is so fabulous already (huge chandeliers, gilded columns, stunning dance floor) I did not have to spend much money AT ALL on additional decorations, dance floor, lighting, or flowers. The beauty of the hotel speaks for itself!
The ballroom comfortably fit 200 guests with plenty of room for a band and dance floor. The room is not too big so the band acoustics were still great. It had the feeling of intimacy.
The wedding coordinator, Keyli, was very responsive, helpful, and proactive. She was kind and worked within my budget. The entire staff was professional and easy to work with. Dinner service was a breeze and the bartenders made it so there was hardly ever a line. A true five-star experience!
The easiest planning experience and the best day.
-Planning: Keyli knows her stuff. Every meeting we had she was prepared with questions for us and had thoughtful suggestions if I didn't know what I wanted. Every question I had was answered quickly, and she was always flexible with changes that happened along the way. She made it so easy!
-Wedding Day/Weekend: The wedding was absolutely perfect in every way. The ballroom is stunning and the staff was on it for the set up, the dinner, and the bars. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the meal and their experience. Keyli was a quiet presence however, likely running around crazy behind the scenes.
I think when you read reviews and are looking for a place to have the most special day of your life, you want it to be easy! There is so much to coordinate you want to make sure your vendors are competent and on top of things. Keyli was absolutely all of these things and I couldn't have been happier with our choice.

The Hilton President is a fabulous facility with a wonderful staff. A beautiful room with no need for decorations. It's all grace and class. Working with the President over the years has been a treat. They GET what the bride and groom wants. Make an effort to visit especially if you like the convenience of having close parking and a hotel room on premise. Time to party!
