I was very happy with Matt's services on my wedding day. Matt and I had a conversation over the phone a few days before my wedding day during which he asked all the right questions and helped to make me feel comfortable and confident going into my day. I went into that conversation thinking that there were certain things I needed to do at my reception because "everyone does it that way." He told me that my groom and I should only do what fits with our personalities and also made me feel better by explaining that what I had thought everyone did at their reception, he hasn't actually seen done in a long time! I was so glad I talked to him because had I not, I may have added on additional activities to my reception that weren't really needed. And looking back, I was busy enough at my reception the way it was! On the day before my wedding, Matt came to the rehearsal for my ceremony, set up his equipment, and then actually lead our rehearsal for us. He made sure that we ran through and practiced as many times as we wanted to ensure that we were all comfortable. I could tell that this wasn't his first time leading one because he did a fantastic job coordinating it. I also wanted to start walking down the aisle at a very specific point in the middle of a song, and he pulled that off exactly how I wanted. When I arrived to my reception, Matt was very helpful in explaining how our grand entrance would work and made sure that everyone in my bridal party was on the same page. After that, he came up to our head table a few times to ask if any of us wanted anything to drink, as he was willing to go to the bar, order our drinks, and bring them to us. I was impressed not only because he was able to remember all of those drink requests, but also that he was doing that for us at all. He played all the right songs for us throughout the night and made sure that we left off the night on a great note, with a busy dance floor and good vibes. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ!

Matt was a great DJ for our event. We had multiple guests approach us and comment about how proactive and polite he was in asking for requests and introducing himself to each table. Matt is a DJ who you can 'set and forget' knowing that he will do his job and take care of you in the process. You may notice he is pricier than some other vendors and he admins as such but we felt it was worth the value in the end. During music 'downtime' he was also proactive in making sure we had water or full cups and went above and beyond. Thanks, Matt!

Matt was extremely easy to work with not only for our wedding but also in planning a separate charity event months prior. He unfortunately had a death in the family a few days prior to our charity event and within one hour of updating me, he had found someone to replace him. It was excellent not to have to worry on our end.

For our wedding, Matt went above and beyond. He traveled 2 hours to meet us at our venue months prior to walk through set-up and to understand our vision. His communication was constant both leading up to and during our day. He traveled to our rehearsal, which was a huge help as nothing unexpected occurred during the ceremony. He greeted the bridal party as soon as we got back from bar hopping and even got us champagne for dinner. He routinely checked in to see how we were doing, asked if we needed anything and to confirm timeline and direct to what was next. The dance party was AMAZING! He not only hit every song on our "must play" but had the guests dancing far after my husband and I went to sleep. Our guests raved that he had the best music and was attentive to requests. I wouldn't hesitate to book Matt, he is professional, personable and worth every penny!

My now wife and I found High Volume Entertainment by way of our venue and then from reviews from The Knot and Wedding Wire. We couldn't be happier with the job Matt did for our wedding reception! When we first contacted him, he answered all our questions and was very open to suggestions for music and very flexible with the schedule for the evening. We also requested that he provide up-lighting for our venue and those looked great as well! They were even synced with the music. On the day, Matt was very professional and kept us informed and on schedule the whole evening, even changing some of his plans for music to suit what our guests were requesting and dancing to. The name High Volume Entertainment would seem to imply loud music, but Matt made sure to that the atmosphere was one that everyone could enjoy without going over the top. We received multiple positive comments from our guests about the quality of entertainment provided by High Volume Entertainment. We couldn't recommend highly enough!

Matt and his team were so professional from the very moment I inquired for a DJ. He did an amazing job with our music choices. Since I come from a Hispanic culture, I was worried if I could find someone who could have a mix of Spanish music integrated to our weeding but he managed to do it perfectly. He worked well with our bridal party, pastor and mariachi so it was just an amazing time til the night ended. The photo booth was awesome and all my guests loved it as well. Loved it all.

Matt of high volume went above and beyond what me and my bride were expecting. From helping us go through everything as we had no event coordinator. To playing all of our requests and at a reasonable volume so we could still talk! He catered to our crowd very well, playing songs that fit the flow of the night. He was also very genuine and very easy to work with! 15/10 would recommend high volume entertainment for your DJ needs!

Matt was absolutely amazing to work with. Through the entire planning process, to the evening of our wedding, we could tell that Matt genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible.

Matt was the best choice for us. Not only does he do an amazing job with the music, he is incredibly easy to work with. He was very accommodating with the music we wanted and if he didn’t have the song, he got it. Even during the wedding reception. He was not just a DJ, he’s more like a wedding event coordinator. Our day was extra special because of him. Matt even made sure that our entire wedding party had a drink when we sat down for dinner. 😊 we highly recommend him. Well worth every penny!

We made an excellent choice with High Volume Entertainment!
Prior to the wedding: We had several conversations with Matt, in order to make sure we were all on the same page (minister, venue, ourselves, and Matt). He asked the right questions, some of which, we hadn't thought about. He made some recommendations, which we adopted (and he was right). Overall, we felt great going into our wedding day. Matt was present during our rehearsal, and answered last minute questions and tightened all the nuts and bolts. OTHER DJs we considered mentioned they would not be present at our rehearsal - Do not do that. Having Matt at our rehearsal, definitely helped.
The day off: showed up on time, was already set to go, make sure we had our mics and did some sound testing prior to ceremony to make sure we were not too loud or too quiet - Great attention to detail. During the reception, he played the music requested, and made sure people were engaged and the energy level was appropriate. The mix fast/med/slow was fantastic and seamless. If needed (because we were a little off schedule, he would ask a couple of questions to make sure where to go - I liked that, because I want to be able to call the shots).

If I could to go back, I'd pick High Volume Entertainment again! Thanks Matt!
