When I started looking for photographers for our wedding, Chelsey’s work stood out above all the others because it was so versatile. We love how Chelsey can make magic with whatever she’s working with. The weather for our engagement photos was cloudy, dark, windy, and rainy. Chelsey was able to use that and somehow give us dark, moody, dramatic, and playful/happy photos, even with weather we hadn’t planned for. We knew whatever vibe we wanted, she would nail it. We were very excited to have her capture our unique, historic venue and theme. Chelsey was fabulous to work with from start to finish. She responded quickly and kindly to my many emails and questions from the day we booked her services until (and after) we received our wedding photos. She met us for coffee to help us plan the itinerary and brainstorm to make sure we got all the photos we could think of (and the ones we hadn’t thought of.) When the big day came, Chelsey was calm and kind, reassuring me everything was right on track. She took all the worry and “managing” away, because I knew she would get all the details exactly the way I had imagined. She and her second shooter, Rebecca, also assisted with the boutonnieres, my dress, and cape, without any hesitation. Chelsey got all the shots of my dreams, including some I realized I wanted in the moment. She always asked what I wanted instead of being bossy or demanding. She was patient and amazingly creative with our venue. As an artist/photographer, she noticed details and created beautiful shots we hadn’t even considered, but will cherish forever. She and Rebecca also managed to get the most amazing pictures (in the dark!) of our classic truck, even though it was getting late. We got our photos back much quicker than we anticipated, and they were all edited beautifully. It was so nice to have the photos to capture a day that went by so quickly. We knew our photos would be beautiful, but the attention to detail and attention to us, as well as all the little things she did for us throughout the day, truly make her stand out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chelsey Pember Photography for your wedding. We are so glad we chose Chelsey to capture our wedding.

We’re from Chicago but got married at a beautiful Lake Winnebago venue near Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We hired Our Mindful Matters after seeing Nicole’s portfolio online and we’re so glad we did! Nicole was incredibly responsive via email and video calls. She helped us scout our venue virtually, created a detailed timeline, and coordinated with our Wisconsin vendors seamlessly. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process. Nicole arrived early and stayed for our full 8-hour reception. She captured everything—getting ready, first look, ceremony by the lake, cocktails on the dock, reception, dancing, and our sparkler exit. The Photos were STUNNING. The lakefront ceremony photos are breathtaking—you can see the emotion, the beautiful setting, and the love. Our couple portraits during golden hour with Lake Winnebago in the background are magazine-worthy. Reception photos captured the energy and joy perfectly. We received over 300 professionally edited images four weeks later with updates and sneak peeks along the way. The online gallery made it easy to share with family and friends, and we ordered our premium tier album and multiple prints and some Christmas cards and gifts for family. Nicole is talented, professional, organized, and genuinely cares about her couples. She traveled to our venue location without hassle, coordinated with unfamiliar vendors flawlessly, and delivered exceptional Wisconsin wedding photography.
