LaCoursi Photography

We are so grateful that we found LaCoursi Photography! Our love story is unique and when I was looking for a photographer, it was really important that I could find someone I trusted to capture our day. We had already communicated with 5 other photographers, which left me pretty hopeless. One photographer told me that we should ask for the priest to limit Mass to 30-40 mins. Another said, we have 3 packages, I’ll send you the descriptions, just tell me how much time you want me for — but if you go over what you’ve alotted you’ll pay significantly more. Another sent me a schedule for what they envisioned for the flow of OUR day. We were so underwhelmed and frustrated.

So, I reached out to LaCoursi Photography, with my expectations diminished. When I did reach out, I received a prompt reply and Monica asked if I wanted to meet over coffee to discuss my vision. My hope was reinvigorated by this human touch. We met for coffee, and she asked me all about our story, how I envisioned the day, how she could best capture us, our family, our love, our sacrament, etc. She asked who we should make sure she got in photos, who would be in attendance, etc. After that coffee date, I needed no “think time”. I was certain she was right for us.

The day of the wedding, she was so discrete in capturing candids as the girls and guys got ready. She got some of the most special moments, and I didn’t even know she was taking pictures! During Mass, she was also discrete, respectful of the holy space and captured beautiful frames of my dad and I, my husband and I, etc.

After Mass she was patient in getting pictures of everyone that we had asked for and plenty of last minute adds. We then moved to a green space to take pictures of the wedding party. She did a fantastic job of setting us up for fun pictures, action shots, and tender and intimate moments for us to reminisce the day. The reception was no different, she got so many great pictures.
I can’t recommend Monica at LaCoursi Photography enough. Do yourself a favor, don’t look for just a photographer, seek someone that you can trust to capture the important and special moments on your once in a lifetime day! I promise, Monica will be that person!

Monica is absolutely amazing! She’s so sweet, attentive, down-to-earth, and has such a calming and warm energy. She was professional, had great communication, and on my big day quietly took care of things without me even realizing or having to worry. Her prices are very reasonable, and you get beautiful, high-quality photos that capture all the special moments perfectly. She’s incredibly kind, understanding, and truly goes above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer — she made the whole experience so stress-free and special. Highly recommend!

She was absolutely incredible! She knew exactly how to connect with our youngest kids while keeping the tweens—and even the adults—engaged and having fun. Her eye for detail was unmatched, choosing locations with stunning backdrops. The edits were beautiful, and we’ve received so many compliments on the final images. Friendly, professional, creative, and timely—she exceeded our expectations in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!

Monica is so kind, professional, creative, and easy to work with. She has a ton of options to fit different budgets and is very flexible. Also, she got me my photos back so quickly! 100% would recommend for your big day!
