The Best!!

First and foremost, if you are thinking of hiring a planner, hire Amanda immediately. We hired Amanda part way into our planning process (already hired most of our vendors & venue) and it truly was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. I am very organized and often called type A and I was already starting to feel stressed. I felt like I was going to miss big things leading up to our day (details, payments etc.) and we just had so many questions about different aspects of our wedding and she came right in and immediately put us at ease. She was on top of every single detail from start to finish. We made adjustments along the way and she guided us through every step, got quotes on additional vendors and made it possible for us to make decisions without doing all the leg work, which is critical when you both have crazy schedules! When the week of our wedding came, I was so calm and the days leading up to the wedding I had about six different vendors tell me I was a very relaxed/calm/chill bride and that really was 100% because of Amanda. I knew she had everything under control and I did not have to worry. We ultimately did have a few hiccups morning of and by the time I found out about them, she had it taken care of, it was amazing! Multiple of our guests said our wedding day was the smoothest and best flowing wedding they have ever been to and I couldn’t agree more. As you can tell, we really cannot say enough good things about Amanda and her team, she was an absolute rock star for us.

BEST money that I spent on my wedding

My husband and I got married in July 2019 and STILL to this day I look back and think that the best money that I spent on any of my vendors was on Amanda's day-of services. When I chose to go with her, I was at the point that I had already selected the vast majority of my vendors, but the date was quickly approaching and I was starting to feel overwhelmed (especially working as a medical resident at the time!). She came highly recommended to me by my photographer (Meg Heriot, who I also cannot say enough good things about), and truly made our wedding day go off without a hitch. I can't have imagined not having her. She has a flawless organization system and coordinated the timelines of each of my vendors, helped us with creating our seating arrangements, and even made sure that we were fed in the midst of our whirlwind of a day! We had an issue where there happened to be a boutonniere missing on the morning of our wedding, and without us even noticing or having a second to stress over this, Amanda contacted our florist and took care of it as though nothing had ever happened. She is the absolute best. If you are getting married in the state of RI, you NEED to trust me and go with Amanda!

Hidden Host Events the absolute best!

I was blessed to have found Amanda and her team. I was planning the wedding long distance and Amanda handled everything! Her attention to detail was amazing from start to finish. We didn’t have to worry about anything. I am thankful for her patience, vision, creativity, and grace. There wasn’t a question of ours that went unanswered and always with warmth and understanding. We had a perfect wedding weekend. Not only was Amanda my saving grace but became a friend. I would highly recommend Amanda and Hidden Host Events to everyone. I cannot thank them enough for keeping me sane and I hope to have the opportunity to work with Amanda again! She is the best!

Flawless Experienece

Amanda did an amazing job. She was on top of every detail, keeping things things moving smoothly without feeling rushed or stressed. The ceremony went of perfect thanks to her direction and the reception looked amazing. I can't recommend Hidden Host Events highly enough!

Simply Amazing!

I hired Amanda for month of coordination services and it was the best decision I made when planning my wedding! She was part planner, part therapist, and by the end of the wedding weekend she was like a member of my family. Amanda went above and beyond to make sure the wedding day and events leading up to the day went smoothly. The only reason I was able to relax the weeks before the wedding was because Amanda was so on top of everything. From contacting vendors to creating a thorough weekend timeline to helping me bustle my dress, Amanda did it all! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Our Daughter's wedding

We can't recommend Amanda highly enough. She was very professional. She had every detail large and small down perfectly. On a personnel level she was warm, engaging and always available to answer our questions. It was reassuring on the day of the wedding to know that she had everything under control. Thank you Amanda!

The absolute best

If you are even remotely considering having a planner/day of coordinator, you absolutely need to talk to Amanda at Hidden Host Events. She was outstanding on so many levels, and took so much of the stress and questioning out of the process for my husband and I. Here's the deal- I've been to weddings, but it was a totally different ballgame to be planning one. You can't anticipate all of the questions and little details that will come up. Amanda and her team are absolute pros- it is so reassuring to have someone in your corner to either answer questions or help you find answers- someone who is so familiar with the industry and wedding scene in Rhode Island. We got married in Narragansett, but were planning from across the country. Amanda helped us all along the way, and when crunch time came in the final stages of planning, she was always there when we needed her. She is so organized- she has planning tools and spreadsheets to organize answers to questions you probably haven't thought of. A day-of coordinator is actually the first vendor we started our process with- and we conferenced with many different people to find the right person. I loved Amanda's down-to-earth approach, honesty, and realistic view of planning a wedding. Her pricing and options offer transparent flexibility in the level of help you need. There were many nice planners we spoke to that made us feel like if were weren't planning a $100,000+ wedding, we weren't their target audience. Amanda made it clear that she can plan any type of wedding as long as people are honest and realistic about expectations. Another selling point for Hidden Host was the trove of items they have in storage- I loved the idea of not buying a ton of things I would use once (and then have to ship across the country). In short, Amanda and Hidden Host will make your wedding more organized and awesome and she will take care of you so you actually get to enjoy your wedding!

Hire Hidden Host!!

Amanda was the first event coordinator I spoke with and I remember at the end of our first phone conversation saying to her "I mean... I don't really need to think about this at all, I feel like we're really going to get along really well and I like you already so can I just say okay now and we'll get the contract going?". Trust your gut, she is incredible. I will be saying thank you to Amanda for years to come. Not only is she an amazing person, fun to be around and genuinely positive, she knows what she is doing when it comes to wedding planning. I asked for her advice and opinion often and trusted her with everything. She has this amazing app she developed that kept me so organized I was impressed by myself and need it for my life. You hear horror stories about seating charts, I had a blast using her app to create our seating chart. She was on top of EVERYTHING. The timeline she creates for your wedding day is so impressive there is no room for anything to go wrong and nothing did, the day was absolutely perfect. She was there for the rehearsal and many of our wedding party took the time to say "Wow, she's got this covered", yep... listen to Amanda and all will be fine. Same with the wedding day, many people mentioned how amazing she was for various reasons, her hard work did not go unnoticed by us or our family and friends. Amanda was SO attentive day of, making sure we had anything and everything we needed and even bustling my dress many times! I felt so confident passing off all of our decor and trusted her to make many day of decisions on how things looked, she knew what I was going for and she nailed it. Having a team like Amanda's that you trust to ensure your day is perfect takes so much of the stress away, I was truly able to enjoy every second of our wedding day and weekend. I felt confident in the team we had and they proved me right. The entire process would not have been as much fun for me without Amanda as part of it. I highly suggest you book Hidden Host Events for your wedding!

We planned our wedding in 13 days!

Where do we start? My husband and I couldn't have LOVED Amanda and her team more for the attention to detail and their thoroughness to make our day seamless!
We got engaged on April 2, and I think Amanda was the second or third person we called [who wasn't family]. After her genuine excitement for us, she asked "Ok! Great! This is awesome, so what are we thinking... this year... next year?" After a short giggle under my breath, I replied "Well we were thinking April 15th..." Her response was PRICELESS... "Wait. OF THIS YEAR? OK! We have 13 days to do this!" She truly whipped into action and helped me figure things out in what seemed like minutes.
Without Hidden Host Events, there is no way we could have had the wedding of our dreams. She is so passionate about what she does. I had everything ounce of Faith in her right from the start. It went by without a hitch, and I had ZERO stress worrying about how the HOMEMADE wedding cake was going to get to the venue, or how the place was going to be decorated, or how my guests were going to find the exact spot out in the middle of the ocean that WE wanted to promise FOREVER to one another.
She is a GEM! Truly and honestly love her to pieces and so so Happy we found her.

Above and beyond!!

We worked with Hidden Host for day of coordination, and they were fantastic! She helped me stay organized throughout the planning process, and then it was such a relief to hand it all over to her leading up to the wedding day. She provided us and all of our vendors with a detailed itinerary and made sure everything went smoothly for the rehearsal and wedding day. I made some of the decor myself and borrowed some items from Hidden Host, and they brought it all together in such a beautiful way- it was so nice to not have to worry about setting things up on the morning of the wedding. Without Amanda’s organization and ability to run the show from behind the scenes, we would have not been able to enjoy our wedding. We are forever grateful for Hidden Host Events- they truly went above and beyond to make our day special!
