Great night in Northern VA!
He also communicated with us well throughout the night along with our coordinator to let us know how we were doing on time and to ensure all of the planned moments went off flawlessly. As far as emceeing the event, our guests loved his style and energy and he was a natural at knowing when to reengage the party.
Our ceremony was outside, and David worked closely with our coordinator and officiant to make sure that everything sounded great.
We can't thank David and Hesson Entertainment enough for making sure our wedding looked, sounded, and flowed perfectly. From planning to execution, they were easy to work with and delivered on everything we discussed. We would highly recommend working with them if you're planning in the Northern Virginia/DC area.
Wedding- DJ and uplighting 6hrs
David was our DJ and he was SO much fun! We discussed our vision with him and he made it come to life. He read the room and always had the dance floor busy with his hits. We told him we wanted a variety of classics, but also dancing music and he made it happen.
David was also very prompt. He arrived early and made sure the day flowed with no stress. He provided the microphone and gave us 3 different options, which was amazing. Additionally, he set up blue Cobalt uplighting around our reception hall and that truly enhanced the beautiful venue.
Overall, Hesson Entertainment is a no brainer. If you want a cost friendly, communicative, knowledgeable and experienced group, this is your team. Best decision ever!

I highly recommend Hesson Entertainment for DJ services for any event. We have had Craig several times at our hotel, and he's done a fantastic job of getting everyone moving. The contract process has been seamless and everyone we have dealt with has been prompt and professional. We have used Hesson for high-end client events, weddings, and student groups and have never been disappointed!
I've worked with Michael on a few occasions and I must say he is a real pro! He understands that the main goal of his job is to make a client happy and the only way to do that besides doing your DJ work on an exceptional level is to interact with the rest of the vendors and namely a videographer and a photographer who sometimes need a head-up from the DJ because the DJ has a leading role. Michael has been truly professional in making sure both the photographer and the videographer are ready. He is very accommodating when it comes to providing a quality sound to a videographer, has an awesome personality and plays beautiful selections of songs. Michael also provides nice uplighting at a very affordable price and as both a videographer and a photographer myself I must say that an uplighting is a must because for such a small fee it makes a huge difference - your video and photos will have a beautiful background and light. I strongly recommend Michael for any type of work and will be happy to work with him.
One thing I know for sure is that Mike Hesson does an awesome job! With every wedding we've ever seen him at, he has the crowd up and on the dance floor. Another thing I absolutely LOVE that he does is the lighting package! Hesson Entertainment can take an ordinary room to breathtaking in a snap with their lighting package; it's a photographer's dream! (Also, being incredibly friendly and helpful is a huge bonus too!) You can't go wrong when you choose Hesson Entertainment.
