Harrison shot our engagement photos in Gainesville over the summer and we had a blast! He agreed to take the photographs with very short notice and remained flexible throughout the entire process. Harrison made sure to balance his own artistic experience with our expectations of how we wanted the photographs to look. He transformed our idea of an incredibly relaxed and natural feel into a truly amazing and beautiful result. I honestly could not be happier with the entire process from the beginning to the end. He immediately made us feel comfortable by asking us questions about our history as a couple and what we love about each other - his general amicability continued throughout the shoot and we all had a great time together. Our love of one another and happiness during the day truly shine through the photographs! He also remained attentive to our needs after the shoot and provided us with the photos very quickly.

My fiancee and I first met Harrison in person about two weeks before our party. We knew right away that he would be the perfect photographer for us. He was very personable, friendly and passionate in the way he talked about photography. That passion showed the day of our event. Harrison arrived to the party earlier than the start time to set up and get a feel of the room. During the party he was EVERYWHERE but at the same time we didn't even know he was there! He took photos of every detail and was right there for us when we asked him for a specific photo that we would like. When we received the photos (which we got back extremely fast) they exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Harrison and highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking a photographer for their next event. We know we'll be calling Harrison again very soon!

We had an unconventional destination wedding in NYC, choosing to marry publicly on the High Line with no guests and little fuss. I posted a Craigslist ad for a willing photographer, and Harrison stood out amongst the 89 responses. If you haven't already, look at his work. He's beyond impressive and was incredibly fun to work with. He greatly helped us out, especially with us coming from out of town. He was even our second witness!

As a former professional photographer, you can only imagine how discerning I was in choosing a photographer for my own wedding. I happened across Harrison’s website and was immediately impressed by his “take on things.”

I enjoy “nuance” and when I showed my fiancé the selections of candidates, we unanimously agreed that Harrison was the one. Agreeable, cordial, and responsive long before the day arrived, Harrison blended in like family the day of our wedding - so much so, that a few of our oldest friends, wanted to meet our new one, Harrison.

My fiancee and I wanted some engagement photos taken, and Harrison Steg was recommended to me by a coworker after I had complimented him on his new family photos. He said they had a great time with Harrison, and we certainly had the same experience. We met up with Harrison a couple weeks before the shoot to discuss style and get a sense of how he worked, which definitely put my fiancee and I more at ease on the day of; neither of us are particularly relaxed in front of the camera, but Harrison definitely helped us with that.

The day of the shoot was SUPER cold and rainy, but Harrison handled it like a total pro and we ended up getting some FANTASTIC shots. We shot in a bookshop near our apartment and then in Central Park, which was completely empty due to the weather. Even though we were freezing and a little wet, Harrison's attitude put us in a great place, and I really think that showed in the final product. He gave us great direction, I could not be happier with how our photos turned out. Cannot recommend him enough, he was an absolute pleasure to work with!
