Facilities and Capacity
This inviting venue has drawn visitors since 1955, offering casino, hotel, and event services. You can avail of a range of event spaces with a total of 25,000 square feet of flexible rooms. These enable you to have an intimate gathering or a large gala event. The four symmetrically-arranged Tahoe Rooms each offer 812 square feet, which can be enjoyed separately or combined with your plan. The Sand Harbor Ballrooms vary in size and total 11,073 square feet with adjoining corridors. These Ballrooms can provide elegant banquet seating for up to 680 guests or standing space for up to 1,000 guests. Additionally, the spectacular South Shore Room offers a stage with premium audio-visual systems and 7,000 square feet of space. Finally, PEEK nightclub offers a dedicated entertainment space at 6,700 square feet.

Reviews of Harrah's Lake Tahoe
My advice is to read the fine print and keep an email trail!!! This is unfortunate, but necessary. A few things changed after contracts had been signed. Some fixable, but one item was huge. Upon deciding on Harrahs the menu pricing was dated 2014. Two weeks after we signed the contract, they changed the menu pricing to increase almost 30%! It’s 2018! I would have chosen a different venue due to pricing had I seen the increased 2018 one. They hadn’t changed it in 4 years! I didn’t think that they would anytime soon...in the fine print it did read that it may be subject to change. Verbally told we could use the room the night before to set up (place cards etc.). That changed to a fee of $250 two weeks before the wedding. Was able to negotiate it to $150, didn’t need that added stress or additional cost though! The room was beautiful & a lovely time was had. I was a little stressful 2-3 weeks before the wedding as Harrahs waited last minute to finalize everything. You have their full attention when you’re deciding to use Harrahs. Once you’ve signed on the dotted line, it takes 3-5 days for a return phone call from the event coordinator. With that said, the venue is beautiful and the food was wonderful. They don’t have a venue to hold a ceremony so we did ours next door at heavenly mountain.
