Facilities and Capacity

Granlibakken Tahoe has indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for weddings.The Big Pine Lodge Lawn is tucked away from the rest of the resort and accomodates 175 people. An outdoor patio opens to a sprawling lawn and natural landscaping surrounded by Ponderosa trees and Jeffrey pines.

The Mountain Ballroom is a 5,400-square-foot space with 16-foot ceilings and a flexible layout that can fit up to 200 guests. The adjoining outdoor Mountain Deck features a stage which can be used for ceremonies with your reception taking place inside our ballroom.

Big Pine Living Room is reminiscent of the great room of an old Tahoe lodge and features an all-wood interior, open beam architecture, and fireplace, accommodating 45 guests and great for rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, or farewell brunches.

Granlibakken Tahoe has its own banqueting food and beverage team, which is lead by Chef Jeff Powell, they offer a variety of menus for sit-down or buffet dining. History
Granlibakken Tahoe has been an integral part of making Lake Tahoe memories for generations. In the 1940s, Norwegian ski jumper Kjell "Rusty" Rustad leased the valley, added amenities, and gave Granlibakken its Norwegian name, which means “hill sheltered by trees.” The ski hill is still in use today, and Granlibakken Tahoe prides itself in providing unique adventures to year-round visitors.
