Facilities and Capacity

Granlibakken Tahoe has indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for weddings of up to 120 guests.The Big Pine Lodge Lawn is tucked away from the rest of the resort and accomodates 100 people. An outdoor deck opens to a sprawling lawn and natural landscaping including Ponderosa and Jeffrey pines. The Mountain/Garden Deck features a stage and can sit 120 guests.

The Mountain Ballroom is a 5,400-square-foot space with 16-foot ceilings and a flexible layout that can fit up to 120 guests. Big Pine Living Room is reminiscent of the great room of an old Tahoe lodge and features an all-wood interior, open beam architecture, and fireplace, accommodating 45 guests and great for rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, or farewell brunches.

History
Granlibakken Tahoe has been an integral part of making Lake Tahoe memories for generations. In the 1940s, Norwegian ski jumper Kjell "Rusty" Rustad leased the valley, added amenities, and gave Granlibakken its Norwegian name, which means “hill sheltered by trees.” The ski hill is still in use today, and Granlibakken Tahoe prides itself in providing unique adventures to year-round visitors.
