I've been waiting to write my review until I received enough of the products to make it valid.

Dante (the photographer) and Lucy (the main office contact) are a complete pleasure to work with and it is obvious that they really care about their clients.

Initial meeting was with Lucy and she went over the packages with us and showed us samples of albums and videos. Everything looked great and I knew I would love working with Lucy, she was just so warm and easy to talk to.

Once booked, we met again this time with both Lucy and Dante to talk about the wedding day details, scheduling, etc. I provided a sample of types of photos I wanted as well as a list of must take photos.

Wedding Day: Dante arrives with his assistant a little earlier than we had agreed on which was great and they went right to work. He made everyone feel at ease as he snapped away. He made sure he got the pictures that both he and I wanted without being pushy or over bearing. Throughout the whole day there were over a thousand pictures taken (literally) and I almost don't remember even seeing them taking all those pictures.

Post Wedding:

This is an old school photographer. When I heard about other October brides having their digital photos a couple of weeks after their weddings, I was jealous, but I will say that having physical photo
proofs makes choosing your album photos so much easier.

Our wedding was on 10/1/10 and we picked up our proofs on 11/10/10. As I mentioned, we had over a thousand photos, 1,030 to be exact. The pictures were great. A balance of traditional, photojournalist, candid and detail shots covered every aspect of the day. It made it so hard to narrow down photos for our album. The package included a total of 75 photos for our album and 24 each for
the parent albums.

We selected our album photos on 2/19/11; parent albums were delivered on 6/20; our DVD were available on 7/8/11 and our album is still being revised. There are tons of album cover leathers and colors to choose from.

The parent albums look fantastic; 5x7 albums with 1 photo per page; they are beautiful.

The DVD is amazing, they did such a wonderful job.

The main album includes spreads that are customized to your photos and I have been working with Lucy to get it where I want it, so there is plenty of opportunity for changes and revisions, which is why it takes longer.

During our search we met with about 6 photographers. Great Neck wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. The process is long, but we are ecstatic with the quality of work and the customer service we have received.

THE BEST!!!!! So much fun to work with and the final product was just breathtaking. They didn't overwhelm us on the day of the wedding and it didn't feel like the paparazzi. THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!
