Long before planning our own wedding, I had the pleasure of experiencing Get Plated at several events and each time, I was blown away. So when it came time for our big day, choosing them as our caterer was an easy and confident decision. Get Plated offers an impressive variety of menu options, and we were especially impressed by our custom tasting experience. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Even a month after our wedding, guests are still raving about how incredible the food was. Portion sizes were generous, everything was served warm, and the quality was consistent across every course.
Our cocktail hour was a standout! The mini crab cakes were a favorite among our guests. The salads were fresh, vibrant, and flavorful. For dinner, we served: Arcadian Greens & Goat Cheese Salad, Dijon Honey Salmon, and Orange Teriyaki Glazed Short Ribs.
Each entrée was beautifully cooked, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the flavors. The signature drinks were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

On the wedding day, the Get Plated staff was exceptional. Professional, friendly, and incredibly timely with service. The attendants assigned to the bride and groom were especially kind, ensuring we were fed, cared for, and able to enjoy every moment without worry.
Get Plated exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend them and would choose them again and again for any special occasion.

Food was very important for our wedding. From the beginning, GetPlated understood our vision. From the initial menu to the tasting to the actual wedding, GetPlated was flexible in adjusting our menu and accommodating dietary restrictions. When I mentioned wanting a tres leches cake, they mentioned tres leches shooters to our dessert table and wow they were a hit! On top of everything, our guests are STILL talking about how much they enjoyed the food! It was important to us that there was a vegan option for our vegan family and friends and were told that it was the best vegan wedding meal they'd ever had! All of GetPlated's staff including Jessica our coordinator and every single server were professional and a joy to work with. Highly recommend GetPlated if you want delicious food and drinks!

I am so happy that a caterer like GetPlated exists! Not only were we able to support this black owned business but their quality, responsiveness, costs and more were nothing but excellent. The guests raved about the food which was one of the most important things to me. Jessica was our main point of contact and was helpful with my many questions that came over the months of planning. The owner Alexandria was also extremely helpful when Jessica was sick in making sure that nothing fell through the cracks. I will be using them at future events and would highly recommend them!

GetPlated, particularly Alex, were great to work with. We started our wedding planning right before COVID and they were the only caterer we talked to that was able to pivot so quickly and provide an at home / virtual tasting. They were also very flexible with rescheduling the reception and our changed guest count. The place settings and linens were gorgeous and fit our vibe perfectly. The food was tasty, the drinks flowing, and the service top notch. They also were able to prepare platters for our goodbye brunch the next day, which were a big hit.

Tasty food, excellent service and great prices. We loved that Get Plated offered packages for small weddings. We had an intimate 8 person wedding on June 19, 2021. We wanted to at least have a 3 course dinner for our family. Get Plated provided just that! There was so much to choose from and everything looked and tasted delicious. Service was exceptional and the selections for table linens and decor was great too. We are so happy we choose Get Plated. We can't wait to have another event to hire them again.

Every single one of our guests raved about how amazing the food was and how ahhhhmazing the staff were! I felt like they were all friends attending the wedding! After having to postpone our wedding 3 times, we had gone through the entire list of DC area caterers. From the moment we arrived to our tasting, we knew that there was no one like Alex and her team at GetPlated. First of all, the tasting itself was like one of the best dates my fiance and I have ever been on! I HIGHLY recommend doing the tasting.
Second, the food looks as beautiful as it is delicious! And third, I had family and guests with all sorts of strange dietary restrictions and even at the tasting GetPlated was able to adjust everything and still ensure it was the best meal everyone ever had!
During the wedding planning we had so many pivots due to government mandates around covid and the forecasted weather for rain! It almost got down to changing our wedding from 50 to 10 people and even though it would affect their business the most, Alex was compassionate, empathetic and encouraging and willing to help us have the wedding of our dreams.
During the wedding day, they made a specialty non alcoholic drink in honor of our daughter who really felt so special! The staff made sure to follow the wedding party around during photos to make sure everyone was able to EAT! (So many brides and grooms never really get to eat on their own day!)
By the way, my favorites were the hot chicken biscuits, the doughnuts and milkshakes, the tuna cones, the sea bass, the drinks... everything!!!!

We attended a wedding that the food and the service was amazing. My wife and I could not put our folks down. The biggest take way was the food was beautiful and the taste was better than I've tasted in 5 star restaurants. We were so impressed that I have used them on two different events. They actually took the time to provide ideas to make these events better than I dreamed. You will never be disappointed.
