Gallery 1874, a venue located in Arvada, Colorado, has seamlessly melded historic touches with modern twists. Situated in Olde Town Arvada, this historic venue was originally built back in 1874. Carmen and Mark Sample, the owners of this quaint venue, have fully restored this building and brightened it up with vibrant colors and art-lined walls. After its restoration, it now provides a timeless setting for couples to exchange their vows right in the downtown city area.
Facilities and Capacity
The floor plan at Gallery 1874 offers flexibility to meet your wedding party size and needs. Depending on the seating arrangements, the space can accommodate anywhere from 150 people seated all the way up to 220 people standing. There is also a stage so you and your guests can enjoy live music on your wedding day. As you enjoy your bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, elopement, or reception in this space, you will be surrounded by elegant touches like hand-painted gold ceilings.
Services Offered
Regardless of their wedding size or style, each couple will receive many additions included with their venue rental. They will be able to enjoy main gallery space, tables, chairs, black linens, audio/ visual systems, a full-service kitchen, an outside patio space and more. There is also a downstairs area in Gallery 1874 that can be appointed as a “Bridal Suite” or “Groom’s Lounge” if you would like a separate and private space for your bridal parties on your special day. While accommodations are not provided on the property, the team will be happy to recommend local accommodations for you and your guests. We were so happy that this venue was beyond affordable, and also can provide all tables, chairs, and linens at no additional cost. Colleen is great, easy to work with, and very helpful when brainstorming ways to make the space work. We're very excited to have our wedding and reception here in November!
*UPDATE* - Our wedding was amazing! Colleen was amazingly accommodating and many guests complimented how beautiful the space was. An installment of impressionistic mountain paintings were up during our wedding, which we LOVED. Great value for a great space!
PS - lots of great photo op places that my photographer found in the alley's around the venue, I LOVE all of my photos!

HIstoric Gallery 1874 wedding in the heart of Olde Town Arvada
What a beautiful place to have a "one stop shop" kind of wedding. Everything takes place there and the catering is awesome! Highly reccomend for a low stress, home town wedding in the heart of Olde Town Arvada at a historic establishment

I absolutely adore this venue!
As a wedding professional, Gallery 1874 has been one of the easiest venues to work with. Coming into an event knowing that their is day of coordination is always something I appreciate. Their staff is very attentive and is always available to answer any questions that vendors or clients have on the day of, or in advance of the event or wedding.
Aside from their awesome team, I am in love with the aesthetic. The historic architecture of this property, in addition to the tasteful art on display, makes for a visually pleasing combination for any event.
