Historic Wedding Venues in Denver

We had our ceremony and reception at the Lakewood Heritage Center and loved it! We used the amphitheater for the ceremony and the school house for the reception. Julie was our main contact throughout the planning process, and she was incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible! Julie was organized throughout the whole process and very patient with our questions. She really made working with the venue incredibly easy for us. The staff who were present on our wedding day were also helpful and respectful, although I had limited contact with them. The grounds at the Lakewood Heritage Center are beautiful and well kept. There are plenty of picture opportunities at the lake, in front of the vintage buildings, by the barn and farm buildings, etc. Everything was clean and well-maintained on our wedding date, and our guests loved the venue. The amphitheatre was great for the ceremony because we wanted to be outdoors and, despite the heat of the day, the shade from the amphitheatre helped keep our guests cool. The school house was extremely cute, and it helped that we were able to use the indoor space as well as the side yard for outdoor space. We had dinner tables, buffet, and bar inside. The space easily fit seating for 40 guests at round tables, the buffet, bar, a 5-person band, and some room for dancing. We used the side yard for additional cocktail tables and lawn games. Since it was a blazing summer afternoon, the A/C in the school house was a welcome relief from the heat. We had a fantastic time! If we should ever need to throw another large party, I'd love to have it at the LHC again!

If you want a venue that requires little decorating but provides the absolute best industrial/elegant vibe you will absolutely love Mile High Station! The organization and communication with the venue was incredible and so smooth...especially since we were planning this all out of state. They made sure all of our requests were met and if they weren't able to help us they directed us in the direction. The bartenders and venue staff the day of the wedding were incredible and made sure we had a fantastic evening!

This venue is a beautiful Inn tucked in a tiny mountain village between high red mountains just past Carbondale CO, on the back side of Sopris mountain. The setting is breathtaking and something your guests will always remember. Most weddings are from memorial day through the fall, they only allow one per weekend so the entire place is yours. The elevation is 7,200 ft and this valley is known for spectacular fall colors. They have recommendations of who to use locally for an officiant, photographer, cake, flowers, music, party supplies, pampering, babysitting, etc. There are 37 rooms and a few local hotels in town for everyone to stay. The catering is reasonably priced and the food is delicious, (we had so many compliments on the food) with many different options. The coordinator Sara Lewis is wonderful, very organized and easy to work with, she should call herself a wedding planner. I'm not sure how we would have done it without her having to plan from afar, she was there for the rehearsal, the entire day of the wedding and directed the timing of everything.( The only reason the flexibility got a 4 is we would have kept the party going a bit later, had to stop music at 10:30 because of city ordinance. But we continued on in the cute little bar until the wee hours of the morning.) We had a guest list of about 130 people with kids, I wouldn't have changed a thing, it was a perfect day! We will be back to visit and hopefully for our honeymoon annually.

The staff was very professional and implemented my ideas beautifully. I highly recommend Seawell Ballroom for any important event, they are well worth it and offers a lot of value for the cost.

Amazing venue in a great location! We recently had our wedding there, and it was truly a dream. It is a hidden gem, in such a fun neighborhood. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance, hotels & airbnb/vrbo's close by which made it convenient for all of our guests. This venue is very well managed. There's options for a ceremony indoors (church) or outdoors (patio) and the reception area is very well done. The stained glass is beautiful, along with the beautiful brick on the outside & views of the Denver skyline - makes for some beautiful pictures. The bridal/groomsman suites are an added bonus too. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride. Our day went by very smoothly thanks to the venue managers and coordinators!
