Mile High Station is an industrial-style wedding venue located in Denver, Colorado. This renovated Steel and Ironworks building serves as a significant reminder of Colorado’s history. It was originally used by the US Navy to build ship components during World War II. Surrounded by rustic brick walls and remarkable steel structures, couples can celebrate their special day amidst this venue’s rich history.
Facilities and Capacity
Boasting expansive spaces and high ceilings, the Mile High Station can accommodate anywhere from 100 to 1,200 of your guests. You will be given the option of various ceremony spaces including a large dining area and a charming patio. While this venue is able to host large parties, couples and their guests can also enjoy smaller, more intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions here. The large, low-hanging chandeliers emit a soft light that lends a warm atmosphere to any small gathering. The venue bridges the gap between historic and modern by adding new features to an already monumental building. A bridge stretches over the length of the ballroom, which offers an aerial view of the main event room. A built-in bar in the main room provides guests with refreshments while they celebrate the night in style.
The team at the Mile High Station works hard to ensure that each couple receives a personalized experience. You and your loved ones can enjoy the rehearsal dinner, reception, and even the wedding ceremony at this iconic Denver landmark. The staff can provide you with lighting and sound equipment and can assist with the setup and cleanup on the day. This rustic, loft-style venue offers a wonderful backdrop for any special event held here. To make the space even more personalized, the venue houses a list of recommended vendors for decor and furniture rentals. This list also includes photographers and planners that have worked with this venue in the past.
Dating back to 1897, this building was the workplace of many iron and steel craftsmen. In the 1900s, the US Navy was in desperate need of ship parts, and so this production line turned its focus to building and shipping these vital pieces. In 1903, the Jackson Richter Iron Works was established. This made its name as one of the biggest infrastructures in the city of Denver.

Mile High Station is a must for your wedding!
It is such a cool industrial feel with the exposed brick and huge chandeliers! Didn't need to do a ton of decor because the venue was so cool! Open bar package was key! Nice to be able to have a patio to step out on as well!Sent on 09/10/2019

Mile High Station and Julie were absolutely amazing! As we were planning our wedding from far away, we relied heavily on communication with Julie to make sure everything was in order before we came to Denver. She was so responsive and so kind while answering my millions of questions. She also agreed to meet with us and show us the venue after we had booked it! On wedding day, MHS was spectacular. The bar service was great and Julie made a point to come congratulate us and get us whatever we needed! My only complaint is that there was warm beer for a while before dinner. However, my husband brought this up to the bartender who was definitely surprised and fixed the problem right away, which was all we could ask for! Overall, we had an amazing time at this beautiful venue. We highly recommend!!Sent on 01/09/2018
