Housed in one of Buena Vista's landmark buildings, originally built in 1885 as a family grocer, our venue has been thoughtfully reimagined into a one-of-a-kind destination where mountain-town charm meets modern hospitality. Today, our 3,000-square-foot restaurant, concert venue, and private event space offers a warm Mountain Modern aesthetic with exposed brick, handcrafted wood accents, flexible event spaces, and sweeping views of the Collegiate Peaks from both our front and back outdoor patios.

Planning your wedding should be exciting, not overwhelming. That's why The Lariat was designed to be an all-in-one venue, providing many of the services couples typically have to source separately. Our experienced team offers event coordination, chef-crafted catering, full bar service, tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, glassware, and professional staff, while our in-house audiovisual capabilities-including a concert-grade sound system, stage lighting, microphones, projector, and large-format displays-eliminate the need for outside audio and visual rentals. Everything you need is already here, allowing you to focus on celebrating instead of coordinating multiple vendors.

For added convenience, The Lariat also features three private loft suites located directly above the venue. Originally designed to host touring musicians, these comfortable accommodations can be transformed into bridal suites, groom's quarters, or overnight lodging for wedding parties and close family members.
