I'll admit that after all the horror stories I've heard it was pretty scary to surrender my special dress for alterations but I'm so glad I trusted Vickie with it! My dress had cathedral train dress with extensive appliqués and beading and she did an absolutely lovely job with hemming it, as well as doing copious amounts of seamless repairs to the netting since it was a secondhand dress. Because it was so heavy, the dress hung really heavily on my shoulders and instantly gave me a rash when I put it on, but Vickie found a solution that allowed me to wear the dress for my entire wedding day with zero issues. I really appreciated the level of experience she had and her competitive pricing.

I used Gala Gowns to alter a bridal shower dress that ended up being a little too tight. It was on pretty short notice and due to the unique cut/style of the dress, it wasn't as simple of a process as I'd hoped and Vickie had to get creative. It was during prom season, so the shop was pretty busy and I needed the dress in less than a week. She was willing to rush it for me and it turned out even better than I expected. She even added some extra detailing to make the changes fit with the style of the rest of the dress, and it was super affordable!
We also took my fiance's suit to her to get altered before the wedding and it turned out great. We'll definitely use her for any future alteration needs.

Everything in this shop is <$500, so you don't have to go through falling in love with a dress and then realizing it isn't in the budget.
Vicki (the owner) is AMAZING and will work with you on finding your dream dress, she has contacts everywhere.
She held my dress for me while I was out of town and after I purchased it offered to keep it in store for me until the wedding (no chance of the fiancé seeing it that way!).
