Funck's offers a buffet-style reception, a "family-style" reception, and a sit-down (served) reception. Prices range from $10.95-$13.95 a person, plus gratuity (which they SO TOTALLY EARNED). That is their only fee for "renting" the hall.

At first, we had thought that the reception was doomed to disaster, as we found out just days before the reception that the back half of the banquet hall we'd rented there was used each Saturday for a "Webkins Party" (full of energetic children), but the restaurant staff was quite helpful in assisting us to set up our reception area.

The food was moist & delicious (as it always has been when we'd ate in the "regular" section of the restaurant), and they helped us to serve our cake, as well. We also ordered several appetizer sampler platters, which we had them put out for our "cocktail hour."

The restaurant doesn't have a dance floor, but it was easy enough to rent one, and not terribly expensive. The dance floor was delivered & picked up, and we had the option of them setting it up on Friday or setting it up ourselves on Saturday. It had joints that slipped together, so if you need to do this, bring a standard-headed screwdriver.

My only note to readers is that the restaurant is located in a "dry town," which means that they can't sell or help to serve alcohol. We had to get a champagne with plastic "corks" and place a bottle at each table in an ice bucket (along with a bottle of sparkling apple juice for those who couldn't drink alcohol) and we also placed a plastic wine glass (with two of those little wedding ring favor decorations on the stem) at each place setting. We then brought a few bottles of wine, which we placed in a metal ice bin on the cocktail table for those who would like a drink of wine during the cocktail hour and/or with dinner.
