Melissa and Martin Fitzpatrick are very professional relaxed wedding photographers. I was able to enjoy our day, because I knew they would capture every moment. Our Wedding Day was Perfect, and Fitzpatrick Studios played an enormous part in this. Our Pictures were complete the week we got back from our honeymoon, and we absolutely love them!!!

Melissa & Martin Fitzpatrick photographed both our engagement photos as well as our wedding in July 2012. We were thrilled after both events with the photos we received! Melissa and Martin are a great husband/wife combo, VERY professional in working with you, and very flexible. They let you set the mood / style but are also ready with plenty of great suggestions as needed. I was thoroughly impressed with the quick response time to any emails / phone calls with questions, and the final images also were turned around in a very reasonable time period. Final images were sent on disc for us to have, and they came in a very nice protective book. We did not opt for them to put an album together for us, but having just recently completed one on my own, I loved looking back through all the great photos and reminiscing on our awesome day. We had tons of pictures to sift through from our wedding, a great *problem* to have - and I only call it a problem because it was hard to decide which photos to use in an album when you have as many as we did! The photos were stunning and I know they will always be treasured. I would not hesitate to recommend Melissa and Martin to anyone - you will not be disappointed!

Melissa and Martin Fitzpatrick were so great to work with....my daughter can't wait to see the finished photos, but knows that they will be wonderful!! They were prompt and responsive and seemed to be everywhere that something was going on, capturing the beautiful day!

We found that finding the perfect wedding photographer was such a difficult task since there are so many choices out there, many different price ranges, and a lot of different styles and quality. We had narrowed down our choices to just a few photographers and when I was finally able to meet with Melissa and look through some of her work I knew she was the one! Her personality, photography style, and price range matched exactly what we were looking for. The quality of Fitzpatrick Studios work for the amount spent far exceeded our expectations. During our engagement shoot we automatically felt comfortable with Melissa and Martin (they are husband and wife which is really cute, too :). They were really easy to work with, never bossy or pushy, and were as professional and knowledgable as they come. Our wedding day photography went really smooth, they were both so flexible and easy going (on a high-stress day that is important!), they worked well with our wedding coordinator, and the wedding photos turned out absolutely gorgeous! We have still yet to order our album and prints, but with just the proofs alone I've had several compliments from people who say they look like they came straight from a wedding magazine. We were very pleased with their work and enjoyed working with them. I would highly reccommend Fitzpatrick Studios to anyone looking for great quality photos and great quality photographers!

Melissa and Martin were great...we had the opportunity to use them as our engagement photographers as well. We had a great opportunity to not just have them as our vendors, but we really got to know them as a couple.

They both have a great sense of humor and really help you get through the day. I never realized how many pictures we would have to take in so many strange positions, but all the pictures came out great and the awkward positions really do look good in pictures!

Melissa was very patient with both of our families since both sides seem to like to wander during photo shoots. She also kept track of time so we were able to get in a sunset and a full moon picture while not really missing a beat of the party.

We had so much fun using her as our photographer and give her the best reviews and recommendations we can. Just stop by her studios and look at her amazing photos!

My new wife and I were in a wedding photographer nightmare before calling Fitzpatrick Studios. The photographer we had booked basically canceled on us and we were in a tight spot. We got a hold of our wedding DJ Scott Muir of Muir Music and he had our backs. He told us about his collogue Melissa Fitzpatrick of Fitzpatrick Studios in San Luis Obispo. He told us he had worked at several weddings with Melissa and he had seen her work and it was great. When I called Melissa she instantly put our minds at ease and arranged for us to come to her studio and see her photos. When we arrived she had so much of her work for us to look at and I can speak for both my wife and I when I say it looked amazing! On the day of the wedding it became apparent that Melissa has scouted out our wedding location. She knew exactly where to stand us for the right shots, and orchestrated our absurdly large wedding party with ease. Other than that, as much as I like Mellissa, I hardly knew she was even there. She wasn't in our faces all day bossing us around like other photographers I had seen at friends’ weddings. I don't even know how or where she was hiding, but she documented our special day with photographs I didn't even know were being taken and they all turned out soooooo great! She was so professional and hart felt from the beginning to the end. I really can say that I have never met such a wonderful person and have never seen such great wedding pics! Ok maybe I am a little bias since it's my wedding pics, but seriously they are awesome! Melissa to you and your husband thank you for being there for Heather and I, and thank you for all your hard work. You two really are just as amazing as your photographs. We owe you a great deal of gratitude.

Our pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!!! We did our engagement photos and wedding day photos with Melissa and her photographer husband Gordon. Since we were out-of-town clients and we planned our wedding in two short months, we didn't have a big block of time between the engagement photos and the actual wedding. But that didn't deter the Fitzpatricks. We did the engagement photos on Wednesday and the wedding was on Saturday, three days later. Melissa surprised us with a beautiful framed engagement photo the day of the wedding - and the engagement photos were done too! The day of the wedding was 108 degrees - unseasonably hot for the end of September. But I never heard one word of complaint about the heat from Melissa or Gordon. I complained!! But not them!! Melissa captured everything - the little details (who gets to actually look at the flower arrangements?), the moments that happened that we didn't see (my husband's niece found a frog to kiss - I guess she wanted to get those frogs out of the way so she can find her prince!), the romantic moments, the tears, the laughter. I love the pictures. The only problem is picking my favorites! We spent a lot on photography, but it is the one way to capture the memories and we didn't want to skimp. We wanted more than the traditional shots - we wanted the love and the laughter and the fun - and we got more than we ever dreamed! Thank you Melissa and Gordon!!

Melissa is a fantastic photographer and so fun to work with. Her portfolio was so impressive and she has a great, relaxed attitude that made us feel like we knew her already when we met her for the first time. My husband and I had an engagement shoot and our wedding photos where we got to see Melissa in action and in her element. We had many laughs during our shoots that made the finished product look so natural. The slideshow she created for us was an unexpected detail and the perfect way to share our photos in a brief way while still capturing the full story. She is communicative and the turnaround times where great. We are so happy with the final product! She was also wonderful with a 3 year old flower girl who tends to be very independent! I would recommend Melissa without hesitation.
