My daughter got married on July 16th @ El Encanto Hotel in Santa Barbara. Megan Macias (Festive Event Planning) did everything! We contracted in April 2021 and at every twist and turn, Megan was there for us. I would recommend her highly (actually would put her on a pedestal). Every vendor that she recommended was outstanding. We literally had zero issues that couldn't be handled by Megan and her team. It was a very special experience for my daughter, her husband and both families! Megan understood every "vision" that we had and took it to the next level. Joyful!!!!

I could write ten pages about how amazing Megan is as a wedding planner and as a person! She is truly so good at what she does and brings your vision to life! We were seriously blown away by how incredible everything turned out at our wedding.

Not only is she an amazing planner but she's also such a sweet person! She was so kind about moving our wedding multiple times because of the pandemic.. I seriously don't know how she stayed so calm and reassuring with all of obstacles in our way but we are so thankful for her kindness!

Megan was far and away the best decision my husband and I made during our wedding planning process (other than deciding to marry each other :)). Planning a Santa Barbara wedding from the East Coast made the process a bit intimidating, so we wanted someone we could trust. I researched extensively and spoke with a few others before making a decision. From the moment I spoke with Megan, I could tell she really cared and that she knew what she was doing. And she did! Megan has creative vision. She's organized, patient, and simply lovely to work with. My husband and I are both particular people, and we were both so comfortable and relaxed going into our wedding day knowing that Megan had everything under control. She really went above and beyond our expectations. Also, her day-of team is the best and sweetest and dealt with my family with smiles on their faces (no easy feat)! Thank you!!!

I knew before I got engaged that I wanted Megan to plan our wedding, solely based on the design of her previous ones I had seen. She of course nailed every aspect of our vision, but exceeded our expectations in so many other ways.

She spent a lot of time getting to know us as a couple and found very unique ways to make our wedding feel like a celebration of us.

We live in New York and she made the planning process very easy for us. She was very accommodating with her schedule to either just meet us for lunch when we were in town, or with coordinating multiple walkthroughs/tastings in one day.

She could not have done a better job of flawlessly executing every detail on the day of our wedding. We were not stressed at all knowing we were in the best hands.

We felt that she genuinely cared that we have the best day possible. She was the calming presence we needed that day. We've already had several of our guests inquire to book her for their wedding. It was such a pleasure to work with her and we couldn’t recommend her enough! Do yourself a favor and book her before someone else does!

Megan was the angel we needed to make a very elaborate and complex wedding come together with ease. If she can coordinate our wedding with two brides, two mothers, a full band, a dizzying list of "day of" tasks while her own family is evacuated during a natural disaster and STILL execute the most beautiful wedding with nothing short of perfection at every turn, then there is really nothing more you need to know. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her. If you want someone who will never let you sweat a single detail and let you fully enjoy your experience, book her before she's taken.

Megan is the most talented and skilled wedding planner around! From the beginning of the planning process up until the very last minute of our wedding, she exceeding our expectations in every way. Megan has an amazing eye for design, pays close attention to detail and is so organized. She is so on top of everything that we were able to enjoy the entire planning process with no worries and every aspect was smooth sailing. Not to mention the most kind, calm and easy going person (which is what you need during the planning process). She was so helpful in the communication between all of our vendors and kept track of everything. Our wedding day went so perfectly and we were able to enjoy every second because Megan had everything under control. We hired Megan to help with planning our wedding after she did an incredible job with my wife's brother's wedding a few years back. We had an idea that she was going to be helpful as she cam highly recommended, but I don't think we anticipated just what a godsend she would truly be. There is not enough praise to describe just how incredible it was to have her as our wedding coordinator. She helped with so many recommendations, joined us at meetings with our vendors, helped with ongoing cross communication between vendors, and just answer any kind of questions that might come up throughout this long and confusing process. I always felt like Megan had our best interests at heart and was there to help us make the type of wedding we wanted. She always listened, gave good suggestions, and was patient when things got chaotic. I can think of at least several occasions where Megan saved the day and we would have had a wedding disaster without her. Megan is the best money you can spend for your wedding, you won't regret hiring her.

For anyone who is on the fence on hiring a wedding planner, I recommend that you do it with one person, and one person only, and that's Megan. When it was time for my husband and I to plan our wedding we knew we were going to need as much help as possible. Megan reached out and at the beginning stages I remember telling Megan what some of my vision was and she took that little bit and created something even more than I could have imagined. Our wedding day turned out insanely beautiful with barely any hiccups, thanks to her. She is trustworthy, professional, reliable, creative, incredibly organized and an all around amazing individual. Megan is absolutely heaven sent. I was in tears at the end of the night thanking her. On our big day, the hottest day of the year, our generator blew, there was a fire close by, and there was an accident making the bus late! However, I didn't know ANY of this because Megan handled it ALL and stealthy! Not to mention all the months leading up to our wedding..
