My wife and I just had our wedding there this past weekend and it was amazing. Tory and Barry (the owners) are super nice and very helpful. They have been doing this for years and know how to plan a wedding properly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a barn wedding!

If you are searching for a rustic, barn-like wedding in the most beautiful state of Vermont, look no further, the Farmhouse Inn is where you need to go. I am so relieved that we stumbled upon this absolutely amazing property and amazing owners. After having to reschedule our wedding 2 times because of Covid, the flexibility and understanding from the owners, Tory and Barry, was more than we could have asked for. The property itself is gorgeous, and they make the experience so easy and seamless from start to finish. Words cannot describe how much we loved this space and the memories that Tory and Barry gave us. We can’t wait to go back as soon as possible!

We could not have had greater good fortune than to discover Tory and Barry and their Farmhouse Inn for our wedding day. As we rounded the curve and laid eyes on the red barn for the first time, our breath was literally taken away as it has been every time since then when this beautiful property has come into view. Just as importantly, though, we were struck from our first meeting by how thoughtful and genuine Tory and Barry were, and that sentiment only grew as we had the pleasure of continuing to work with them over the course of last year. Admittedly, we had a brief moment of hesitation at the start with regard to the cost, recognizing that the price we paid would not include food, drinks, etc. It quickly became clear, though, that we had invested in far more than just a magical property and beautiful tables and chairs....our decision paid off one hundred fold in the experienced support that Tory and Barry offered. They responded to our (many, many) nervous inquiries via phone and email, day and night, promptly and thoroughly, offered suggestions when we asked to help us troubleshoot the flow of our big day, provided vendor and lodging suggestions, offered to host on-site meetings with the vendors we were interviewing, and generally acted as wedding coordinators to ensure we had everything we didn’t even know we needed for the day to make things go smoothly, leaving us with truly no anxiety the day-of. Every single one of our guests (including ourselves!) was coming from out of state, and we really wanted the opportunity to showcase this state that we love so deeply. The nearby lodging that they suggested provided plenty of options for all budgets, and we could see in our guests’ eyes that the magic of this unique spot provided just that experience that we wanted for our loved ones as well as ourselves. We can also say that, over our year of planning, we got to see the property in literally every variety of weather, and it *never* lost its magic. And of course, in the end, having the option of selecting our own food, selecting our own alcohol options, etc, really made the day feel like “ours” rather than a cookie-cutter, generic wedding with programmed dances and dry chicken breasts. Tory and Barry helped us to execute this lovingly, wisely, and patiently and we really felt that our big day was everything we wanted and more thanks to them; we now feel fortunate to consider them friends and family!

We stayed at the Farmhouse Inn four years ago when they were just starting to do weddings, and knew immediately it would be where we got married. In addition to a beautiful venue, it was also important to us that it was near a town so our guests could make a trip out of it and Woodstock had it all. Hiking, beautiful scenery, farmers markets, cafes, and boutiques in a quaint small town. When looking for the right venue for our wedding we wanted something that felt authentic rather than a barn built and designed for weddings and events. The Farmhouse Inn at Robinson Farm is historic, full of character at every turn and was everything we wanted for our wedding, allowing us to share an authentic Vermont experience with our guests. The rolling hills around the venue set a perfect scene and the multiple barns and open fields allow for a ton of flexibility in designing the ceremony and reception we wanted. We received so many compliments from our guests on the property and stunning five story red barn. The piece that really sets this venue apart from others are the owners, Tory and Barry. From Day 1 they were extremely helpful answering any and all questions we had about the venue before we decided to book it. From there, their dedication only increased and they felt like true partners throughout the wedding experience. They are genuine, friendly and exceptionally hospitable. It was such a relief having them coordinate all of the rentals and deliveries, making sure that everything came together the way we wanted and their support continued throughout the entire wedding weekend. They are there every step of the way making sure things go smoothly and helping with everything from tying ribbon on our bouquets before we walk out the door, to setting up the ceremony seating and making sure catering rentals were put away at the end of the night. It’s like having an extra set of parents in the best way possible! They welcomed us like family and were extremely supportive and accommodating with all of our layout requests. They are extremely dedicated to maintaining the farm and sharing its story. We had so many friends and families tell us that the venue was one of the most gorgeous they had seen and that they were blown away by the level of service that was provided. We would highly recommend the Farmhouse Inn at Robinson Farm to anyone looking for their wedding venue or even as a place to stay a couple nights for a trip to Woodstock. From the chickens roaming around the property, the beautiful horse Yuma, friendly dog Ben, and the nicest cat we have ever met Tilly, to the cozy and charming farmhouse, fresh coffee, tea and biscotti, homemade soaps, delicious farm fresh breakfasts and warm company, it is a remarkable place that we feel grateful to have found. Each time we visit Tory is experimenting with a new treat, like pumpkin donuts, morning buns and fresh pressed apple cider from the tree in their yard. These are just a few things that make this place so special, and we were thrilled to share the experience with our friends and family!

Tory and Barry created an unforgettable experience for our wedding! They coordinated our dance party in the big red barn and were extremely flexible on the day of the event when we changed our wedding location from the small barn to the trellis area outside of the big barn! We had the rehearsal dinner in the small barn and the Milstones were fantastic at coordinating our caterer and bartenders. They dealt with all of the vendors in terms of linens, glasses, etc!They worked well with our band and flower arrangers too! They posted signs with our names on the road so that it was very easy for people to find. You can not top this place! This was as stress free as a wedding can get thanks to their professionalism. Our family stayed at the Inn and were treated like family. Rooms were great and the breakfasts were amazing! Much love and gratitude to this wonderful family!

Barry and Tory (owners) were an absolute pleasure to work with from start-to-finish. Our original venue plans fell through and we couldn't have been more grateful they did! They are willing to be as hands-on (or hands-off) as you'd like throughout the planning process. My fiance and I wanted to do a lot of the planning/logistics ourselves and we were able to do exactly that. Not to mention, the venue is beautiful and had our guests wow-ed. We had about 65 guests and the white barn was the perfect size for a few tables and a dance floor. Couldn't recommend highly enough- wish we could go back and do it all over again!

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at the Farmhouse Inn. We got to choose our vendors, had an incredible day-of coordinator, and had our family stay with us at the Inn. All of our guests were so happy with the location and kept commenting on how gorgeous it was. By far the best part of this experience was working with the owners, Barry and Tory. They are professional, responsive, knowledgable, and incredibly kind. They made our day perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

We called Barry as soon as we got home from the venue tour and feel beyond lucky to have secured the Farmhouse Inn for our wedding day. Barry and Tory are extremely kind and the quintessential hosts for a Vermont wedding. They were so easy to communicate with and always accommodated us when we dropped by multiple weekends to either show family, to talk logistics over with them, or sometimes just stopping in to look inside the barn and help us envision how we hoped our day would look. The property is stunning and versatile, allowing us to have multiple options of where to get married.
We hired Ana as our wedding coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. She went above and beyond to be sure all vendors were contacted, informed and knew exactly when and where to be the weekend of our wedding. The timeline she created for us was super helpful and by the time the weekend arrived, we were able to take a deep breath and relax knowing Ana had it all under control. Not only is Ana amazing at what she does, but she is absolute sweetheart who we both connected with on a personal level as well.
As for the Inn, the bride’s relatives stayed the weekend and loved it. It was an absolute perfect representation of Vermont in the fall. Each room is unique with its own charm and a cozy, welcoming feel. Tory’s breakfast is an incredible (fresh, fresh, fresh!) spread that we still hear about months later. We wholeheartedly recommend the Farmhouse Inn for anyone looking for a true Vermont barn wedding. We looked at upwards of 20 wedding venues and as soon as we stepped on the Farmhouse Inn property knew it was a special place. We loved having access to the entire property for a weekend and felt that Tory and Barry were truly dedicated to holding special events for each and every couple. And we couldn't have been more right!

Our wedding weekend was better then we could have imagined. The property was beautiful, all our vendors came together perfectly and our guests had a great time. While Tory + Barry host a small amount of weddings per year (compared to many of the wedding factories out there) they are pro's at the planning and supported all our endless questions/concerns throughout the 8 months leading up to the wedding. One of the things I liked most about the venue is there are so many ways you can use the property, the barns and the field depending on your needs and size of the wedding. We were able to bring in flowers and decorations that reflected our style and put our spin on the day which was also so fun. I also cant recommend Ana, the wedding coordinator enough. She was key to the weekend success and took things over from a planning perspective the day of and ran the show! (It's also like she could read my mind, and did so many things behind the scenes that I really appreciate).

If you are looking for a unique outdoorsy/barn venue I can't recommend this venue enough. I am so happy we will have a special place to visit in the future and that Tory and Barry are part of our wedding weekend story!

Barry and Tory are the most wonderful people and hosts we have ever had the privilege to know. The Inn was spectacular, it was warm, comfortable, welcoming and beautiful. My daughter was married there this weekend and my wife and I were completely elated with the venue. The wedding party stayed there for the weekend and we had a great time. The food was fresh and spectacular, the animals were great additions and getting in and out of Woodstock was simple. The rooms were roomy, clean, beautiful and spacious. Everything was ready and delivered as promised; from the smallest details to the coordination of the vendors, suppliers, caterers, etc. The chickens are a wonderful addition. We would highly recommend this Inn for a wedding, a party or just a weekend visit. You will find yourself absolutely pleased with everything. Instead of simply contracting with a company for a wedding, we ended up making new friends and that was the added bonus to an already fantastic weekend. Bill and Judy Charamut
