Mike and Tori from EO Sunday were truly a pleasure to work with. From the moment we reached out to them, they were extremely responsive and professional. Although they are family friends of my husband and were extra excited to play for people they knew, it's clear that they are very down-to-earth and accommodating with everyone they work with. Mike and Tori gave us their input whenever we asked and always made sure to check in with us when making decisions. On the day of the wedding, they showed up hours early to practice with my dad, who wanted to play a song with them. They were super organized and made him feel so much more comfortable getting up on stage. Tori was also willing to film our ceremony, which was so helpful. All of our guests commented on how amazing the band's energy was - they had an 150 person wedding ALL on the dance floor and managed to play a variety of songs that suited everyone. My husband's uncle (who is 75) is still talking about how much he loved Tori's rendition of "Pink Pony Club" by Chappel Roan. If you are looking for a band that will take care of you throughout the wedding planning process and put on an amazing show that appeals to everyone, look no further. They learned a few songs that are meaningful to my husband and I. Their energy was amazing, they were incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and SO much fun. Hiring this band was an absolute “No brainer” for us. We have had the pleasure of knowing Every Other Sunday band for many years, as friends of the band, and audience members. We immediately knew we needed to hire them for our wedding.
On a beautiful Thursday in April, we were married by a windy beautiful scenic backdrop at George J. Mitchell Field in the beautiful coastal town of Harpswell, Maine. The band played a small ceremony of instrumental songs, then as our guests were leaving they sang a beautiful ballad as our guests walked away with joy. We continued our celebration reception at the Harraseeket Inn, a place that quickly became so much more than just our venue—it became part of our love story. Nestled in the heart of Freeport, Maine, the Inn's timeless charm and cozy, historic atmosphere offered the perfect setting for our non-traditional spring wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in warmth, care, and hospitality that made the entire experience unforgettable
As the sun set and the lights came up, Every Other Sunday brought the celebration to life. The band was incredible—perfectly reading the room and keeping the energy high with the right songs at the right time. From our first dance to the very last song, they had everyone on their feet, dancing, laughing, and fully enjoying the moment.
We overheard the band chatting with each other while packing up, reminiscing about their favorite parts of the night—which made us feel like our wedding was as much fun for them as it was for us. That kind of genuine enthusiasm speaks volumes about who they are as performers and people.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Every Other Sunday, and their performance at our wedding reception. They were friendly, organized, reasonably priced, enthusiastic, professional, talented, and an overall pleasure to work with.
After doing a fair amount of research, I found their pricing to be very reasonable, with multiple pricing options depending upon the size of the ensemble and how much additional music you would like as part of your cocktail hour, dinner, etc. The managers of the group were extremely friendly and communicative. They reached out several times to touch base, ask questions, and be sure that all communication was clear regarding our wishes for our big day.
They have an excellent website that will provide you with their full playlist. You will have the opportunity to select a personalized playlist for the evening, including several special songs of your choice that the band will learn specifically for your wedding or event.
Our wedding was a Christmas theme, and they came prepared with a large selection of pop Christmas tunes that kept many guests on the dance floor throughout the evening. They played several slow, old standards for couples to enjoy, lots of pop and rock from a variety of decades, and fabulous renditions of guilty pleasures like YMCA and Uptown Funk that thrilled our guests to no end! The band sounded equally at home with every genre - very versatile and so much fun! We were also very pleased with the band leader’s role as MC for the evening. He kept the atmosphere fun, friendly, and light with just the right amount of talking.
Throughout the evening I received many compliments on the band - even those who weren’t dancing said they enjoyed the rare opportunity to spend an evening listening to live music.
One side note, EO Sunday does provide their own lighting, which is fantastic! However, I would suggest checking in with them, particularly if you have your own lighting and color scheme, and you want to keep things consistent. They will be happy to accommodate!

As for the day itself, Mike sang & played guitar during our ceremony (touching Beatles renditions!), the EOSunday jazz trio laid down some very chill instrumental grooves for cocktail hour, and then we closed out the night with their 9-piece band that rocked the dancefloor so hard I sweat through my shirt! They NAILED all of our "unique" song requests as well - from Dropkick Murphys to the Jonas Brothers. Our guests had an unforgettable night, and a month later we continue to receive compliments from them about how much fun they had dancing to EOSunday.

During the lead up to the big day, the EOSunday team couldn't have been more professional and talented - from lightning-fast email replies, to collaborative Zoom chats, to even checking with us about our song request lyrics to ensure our guests wouldn't be offended :)

Strongly recommend this band to anyone looking for a talented & kind group of musicians to bring their wedding day to life!

Even before we got engaged, my wife and I had talked about how important a great live band was to us. We both grew up in musical families, love great music, and have a reputation for spending entire weddings on the dance floor!

From our first meeting with EOS, we knew they were the perfect fit. Mike and Tori were a blast to talk to, prepared and organized, and flexible to any/all suggestions! It felt like we were speaking to close friends (spoiler: the rest of the band members are no different).

From running a portable sound system out to a forest to playing a crowd favorite for the first time live because they heard it was a hit during cocktail hour, hiring EOS is worth it simply for the peace of mind knowing you have one vendor you absolutely don't need to worry about. The fact that they are a hell of a good time and wonderful people to boot is just an added bonus.

EO Sunday literally blew my wedding out of the water. Literally. It was pouring rain on my wedding weekend, but you would have no idea with the way the band stepped it up and got everyone dancing. I couldn’t have asked for a better band. Not only were their musical talents top notch, but I instantly felt at ease talking with Mike and Tori from the first phone call about logistics. They were extremely flexible and very professional. We literally danced through dinner and had to have guests be asked to sit down when their meals were placed. Highly recommend!!

Every Other Sunday…..what can we say? Absolute BLAST had by all. Hired for acoustic instrumentals and mic/pa system support for the ceremony, playlist for cocktail hour, and 9 piece band for the reception, not once was there a hiccup. This team learned three songs for our ceremony and two for dancing above and beyond their standard playlist, including our first dance. And, the first dance was truly amazing. Mike’s MC skills navigating the toasts added comic relief and his improv skills are top notch. From the very first verse to the very last – the band had our guests moving! There wasn’t a single moment that the dance floor felt alone. And at the end of the night, no one was ready to stop. What really set these fantastic musicians apart – they invited the Father of the Bride to play the drums, which meant the world to our family.
