First, Gene and Veronica are wonderful, kind, professional, very knowledgeable. They are so easy and fun to work with. You can't rate them as they are priceless!!!! The barn and all that comes with it is gorgeous. There are many wonderful and fun choices to make, such as smores at the fire pit, dancing under Edison lights and the night sky or in the barn. There are lawn games for children. This is a wonderful place for children to attend a wedding. I could go on and on. I enthusiastically recommend the Barn and the opportunity to work with such a lovely couple.

What a joy to work with Gene and Veronica. We planned our Maine wedding from Colorado and could not have been happier. It was the most perfect day we could have imagined.

Unfortunately, it sounds like Poppy Leavers needs an attitude adjustment. I have worked with this venue as a vendor on several occasions and the owners are very professional, hard working and accomodating in ensuring that the brides, bridal party and guests are comfortable and enjoy their special day. I have also worked with other vendors, such as Cafe 130 Catering (now Lilac Mixology and Catering), who are also great to work with and I would highly recommend their services. (Side bar, their name change had nothing to do with this venue and everything to do with their growth and expansion). I have also worked with Poppy Leavers and on those few occasions, the brides were less than impressed with his work. As a result, I would surmise his lack of business success is likely due to this reason and not the venue.
Bottom line is I have enjoyed working with this venue very much when given the opportunity and would highly recommend. The venue is beautiful, both inside and out, the owners go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and the day special for everyone attending.
