SaltWater Fields Wedding & Event Barn is a beautiful wedding venue on the ocean in the heart of Port Clyde, Maine. Our newly constructed, elegant, and rustic barn on the ocean is open all year for all your events! We are fully heated with radiant heat.

We've covered everything you need for up to 200 guests. SaltWater Fields can take care of you from the ceremony to the reception. Everything on site is yours to use as you wish, including full access to the barn, two out-of-site but spacious wedding suites with full private baths for getting ready, an oversized, fully applianced kitchen, large indoor guest bathrooms, a washer and dryer, our Guest House with overnight accommodations for 12, 2 seasonal Glamping tents that sleep 10 each, barn contents, and surrounding eight-acre property to relax and enjoy yourselves while hosting your event. With an outdoor games field (corn-hole, lawn Yahtzee), two outdoor fire-pits, and water activities included, you and your guests will have the time of your lives.

We offer indoor guest bathrooms, ceilings dripping with gorgeous chandeliers, dozens of unique pieces of antique furniture, ceremony chairs, benches, & arbors, dining room tables, linens, chairs, dishes, stemware, & utensils for 200 guests, antique couches, settees, chairs, tables, event props, and more. The ground/main floor is completely handicap accessible.
Once you rent with us, you'll earn discounts on all future events for you, your family, and your business. That's our SaltWater Fields Family promise.
One night per year, we are open until 1:00 a.m., December 31. That means you can host your New Year's Eve Wedding with us.

Exceptional!

Our whole experience at Salt Water Fields from pre-planning to post-wedding, has been nothing short of spectacular. The owner, Tina, was so responsive to all of our requests, wants, and needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and offered help during many parts of our planning process and was instrumental in the day-of preparation. Not only is this an absolutely beautiful venue on the water, but it has everything you need and more, so there’s really no need to rent! We utilized many of her items (linens, signage, bar cart, vases, dishes, silverware, glamping tents, etc). We also stayed in the houses on the property, which were well equipped and perfect for early-morning and late-night accommodations while setting up! Overall, our entire experience at Salt Water Fields was exceptional and we have them to thank for playing such a huge role in making our wedding a dream come true!

The venue of our dreams!

Saltwater Fields was the ultimate venue for our wedding. Tina and Jimmy were incredibly helpful and timely, providing everything we needed for our DIY events, from dishes and utensils to vases, candle sticks, and lawn games. We also booked the Airbnb and had guests stay in the yurts. It truly was perfect—everything went off without a hitch, and the Saltwater Fields staff went above and beyond. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how stunning it was. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an all-in-one, inclusive venue. They made wedding planning a breeze! I did not feel one ounce of stress on my wedding day and its largely because of the SWF staff.

Perfect Wedding Venue!!!

We got married at SaltWater Fields on October 5, 2024 and the entire weekend was perfect! We had both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding at the barn and they could not have gone any better. From the beautiful decor and outdoor views to the amazing staff, SaltWater Fields has it all. We were able to save a lot of money because of their large inventory which was a major plus. We also hired Tina to be our coordinator and she was phenomenal! I cannot imagine what it would have been like without her help. She was around and available practically all day Friday and Saturday and having her to assist was a game changer. Everything went as scheduled and we had no delays, plus she is incredibly kind! My bridesmaids had planned to make breakfast the morning of but ran out of time, so Tina took over without anyone even asking to ensure we were all able to get something to eat the day of the wedding. She also handled our ceremony rehearsal which we were all very thankful for as we had no idea what we were doing. Our families and wedding party are so appreciative of all of her help, as well as Jimmy's and the rest of the SWF crew. You can see all of the hard work and dedication they put in to creating such a beautiful venue and it has paid off. We are still receiving comments about how great the wedding was, how much everyone loved the space and how kind the team was. I felt extremely calm the day of which I was not expecting, and I attribute that largely to all of the help we received. From setup to clean up to everything in between, there was always someone around ready to assist. I also recommend using their bar services with On the Rocks, they helped us choose a selection that our guests would enjoy and it required very little work on our end! We were also very thankful to have the guest house available to us. We were able to spend even more time with our friends who we don't get to see very often and it was the cherry on top of the already amazing weekend. I could go on and on, but overall, I highly recommend having your wedding or any event here!! It was an incredible experience from start to finish and I would not have changed a thing. Thank you Tina, Jimmy and the rest of the team for helping make this the best weekend of our lives!!!
