I've known Shanti for years and when i asked her to assist me with my wedding plans she was over the moon. she took charge and before i knew it, the big day was finally here. shanti is methodical, savvy, and her attention is every detail is vast. a passionate wedding planner is challenging to find, however, once found can create miracles. shanti soulfully creates miracles. two thumbs up kiddo.

One of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process was hiring Shanti of Events by Shanti- she is fabulous! Her personality is one you can instantly connect with, making it easy to work with someone so closely. She’s a natural at planning and her experience speaks for itself. My husband and I had no trouble connecting with her and handing her off the details of the most important time in our lives. She is professional, detail oriented, organized and always one step ahead of everything. Shanti handled everything for us so my husband and I could sit back and enjoy the festivities with our friends and family. It isn’t very often that your wedding day is executed effortlessly with no kinks, but if that’s what you’re striving for, Shanti is the planner you want to hire!

Absolutely disappointed by the decorations for my sister’s wedding. We had contacted her months prior to the wedding and finalized decorations. The day before the event, when we went to check the decor, we had a completely different decor than we initially agreed upon. We had pulled strings, paid extra fees to the hall just so her crew can come and begin decor early and have enough time to finish as per her request. Not only did they arrive 2 hours late, they weren’t able to finish the decor in time before the hall closed. Plus the decor was completely messed up. I will not blame her crew because they did what was communicated by her. She has completely mismanaged such a once-in-a-lifetime event. The decor looked sub par, not at all up to the price charged.
I will not recommend her to anyone because she lacks communication and professionalism.
Our reception event was managed by a different decorator. The decorator called us the day before the event, confirmed all the decorations verbally over the phone with us, and assured us to enjoy the events and that the decorations were in place. Now, that’s what I call professionalism. Not half done decorations with last minute concept changes, and cheap quality materials. And this was the same for our engagement party decor as well.
Throughout this time, it was so difficult to reach Shanthi when we tried contacting her. However, she’s the first to reach out when it comes to payment.
I don’t know who’s giving her these 5 star reviews, maybe they’re bought, but this has been very stressful for us.
