I don't know how I ever would have made it through my wedding without Satra. The only regret that I have is not hiring her at the start of my wedding planning, instead of the month of. I was having a hard time planning my wedding during the pandemic and decided to hire a Month Of Planner that I found out from my amazing photographer, Amanda Wei. As soon as we hired Satra, I immediately felt less stressed going into the month of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, she kept everything running smoothly and I had nothing to worry about because I knew she was on top of it. She's incredibly organized, calming, professional and a pleasure to be around. Even my friends told me how much they loved having her around the day of my wedding.

We hired Satra for her month-of-wedding planning services for our July 2021 wedding, and we could not be happier that we did! Satra was absolutely wonderful to work with - incredibly organized, friendly, and kind! She made our wedding day go so smoothly, and I felt so much calmer knowing that Satra was there to make sure each and every detail was taken care of. Our wedding came together so nicely, and I am grateful to Satra for helping to make that happen. Satra's recommendations for other vendors for our wedding were also very helpful, and so many of our vendors shared how much they love working with Satra. I'd highly recommend hiring Satra for your wedding!

Satra was a dream to work with!! We hired her as our month-of planner, though she also helped us with adhoc projects like booking hotel blocks. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and organized throughout the entire process. Our entire family & bridal parties made a point to mention to us how helpful and amazing she was to them on the rehearsal and day of, too, which really speaks volumes to the positive impression she made across our group of 15+. My husband and I joke that if we were to ever re-marry, we'd want to work with Satra again :). Jokes aside, Satra is top notch and anyone considering in the Bay Area should 100% work with her.

We had are wedding at Villa Montalvo in June 2021. When we booked the venue the venue's first and strongest vendor recommendation was to hire Events by Satra for planning. It was by far the best decision we made! Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, everything went so smoothly and turned out so beautifully! From our first call, I felt calmer! Satra helped us pick out all of our other vendors and every recommendation she gave was perfect. Particularly on things we didn't have strong opinions about like flowers and the DJ and those were some of the best parts of the day! We booked our date and started planning before the pandemic hit and were able to keep the original date with the original guest count for which we were incredibly lucky. We still had a lot of stress with the uncertainty with the pandemic. Satra was so calming and went above and beyond. She researched on-site Covid testing vendors and coordinated with the DJ to do virtual streaming of our ceremony. I also didn't have a ton of opinions about the details and I knew I could trust her opinions like the linens (she matched my bridesmaids perfectly!). She also had a great eye for the things that are worth doing like the lounge furniture (which looked amazing and the guests loved!) versus the things that no one notices (like a photo gallery in the library that most people wouldn't see). If you are on the fence at all, I'm telling you it's worth it!

We hired Satra for Month of Wedding Planning services. We actually hired her in 2018 for our 2020 wedding, and she stuck with us through multiple postponements during COVID. She was super flexible and understanding through it all and easy to coordinate with. Once we finally got to the “month of” the wedding, she jumped in right away. She’s very organized and such a pro - she helped us work through things we hadn’t even considered. The day of the wedding was so stress free. Satra handled everything and we were never aware of anything going on behind the scenes. She went above and beyond with our family drama, purposely keeping certain people separated without making it obvious to everyone else. All of our vendors commented on how great she was to work with. We can’t thank her enough and will continue to recommend her to everyone we know!

I found Satra after extensively searching the internet (like all brides do) for a wedding planner. I wanted someone who had experience with Indian weddings and knew great contacts in the Bay Area. Satra hit both of those marks for us right away. She also has a great sense of humor, which is always a plus. We are like many Indian couples in the pandemic, throwing caution to the wind and uniting ourselves in marriage without worrying about what the 500 angry aunties and uncles will do because they're not invited.

We decided to do a 30 person micro-wedding, and Satra truly made it look and feel like a grand, large wedding. She went to work right away; we gave her only 6 weeks to put the whole thing together! She always gave us options for pricing and vendors and really cared that we were satisfied with all decisions as we went along. She also was so meticulous with tracking and following up with all the vendors, and really just making sure I didn't have to worry about a single detail. I was also very hands off - I know to let the professionals do what they are hired to do. I gave her my Pinterest inspo and have to say that the outcome looked better than my board ever could.

Enough raving about Satra, you will find many reviews exactly like mine saying you should hire her -- and they are exactly right. If you want to worry about every single detail and not sleep during the planning, do it yourself. If you want to have a beautifully designed wedding that requires minimal effort on your part, hire Satra.

We cannot thank Satra and her team enough for all of their help, support, and encouragement throughout the wedding planning process and on the wedding day itself. We held a ~300 person Indian wedding, and Satra went above and beyond in helping us plan it. She translated our vision into an event that was even more magnificent than we could have ever imagined. In every decision that we made, Satra laid out the options and helped us think through where to spend money in a way that would be the most impactful and aligned with our goals. She not only guided us through the process and made sure that we were on track, but also handled our unique circumstances (needing to find Indian/ethnic decor, wrangling parental involvement in decisions) with poise.

Throughout the planning process, Satra was extremely responsive, on top of the details, and had always thought through everything. She kept track of multiple different vendors for us, and went the extra mile to coordinate with those who were less responsive. Satra truly cared about making our big day special, and her professionalism shone the entire time.

The day went extremely smoothly despite several last-minute changes to account for rainy weather, and we even received a lot of compliments about how the event ran like clockwork. Most importantly, we had a wonderful time, especially because Satra reminded us to take it all in and enjoy the moment, and she handled various family members and vendors so that we didn’t have to think about them. We couldn't have done this without Satra and we are so glad that she was part of our big day! We cannot recommend her enough.

From the beginning stages of planning to the day, I knew we were in good hands with Satra. She anticipated every detail of our day, including: minute by minute timeline, exact seating charts, layout of the rooms, recommendations for vendors, best locations for signage and coordination with other vendors. On the day of the wedding, she came to check in on me & my groom before all the events. She kept us on timeline, all with such positivity and calmness. Another Very special thing she did for me was to join me in my final dress fitting Because my family lives on the east coast. This was so thoughtful & very appreciated! She is truly the best & would want to have her presence at any event!

Satra was an INCREDIBLE coordinator for our wedding. We hired her not just for day-of, but for month-of, which was awesome. In our kickoff meeting with her (she had done a ton of weddings at our venue and also knew almost all of our vendors), we talked about my vision for the wedding, she asked us for all our vendor info, we agreed on a timeline, and after that... BLISS. We didn't have to do ANYTHING. I remember so clearly the moment at our kickoff meeting when Satra smiled, looked me in the eyes and said, "You don't need to be taking notes on any of this - I'm going to handle all of it." After a year and a half of wedding planning, sweeter words could not have been spoken to me. And she was right - she handled all of it. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, if my stepmom or my fiance's mom or a vendor or the venue or anyone else had questions or concerns, I said, "Talk to Satra!" There were a ton of email threads between Satra and our family members, vendors, etc. that I didn't even read, because I didn't need to. At the rehearsal and on the wedding day, nobody from our families or the wedding party asked me anything about where to be or when to go there or what to do, because Satra had already prepped them.

I should also point out that we had an Indian fusion wedding, which was... complicated. Lots of moving parts. Satra dealt with all of it.

It seems like a small thing, but one of my biggest concerns leading up to the wedding was that my walk down the aisle would be timed appropriately. The song I'd chosen needed to play for all nine of my bridesmaids and also for my dad and I during the processional, and there was a specific moment in the song that I wanted to match up with the moment my dad and I appeared walked down the aisle. I was terrified that the bridesmaids wouldn't be paced appropriately
and that specific part of the song would happen before my dad and I started walking down the aisle, or that the song would end before my dad and I reached the altar. I had a mild freak-out moment when the bridesmaids were walking down the aisle and asked Satra if everything was timed correctly, and she showed me her phone - she'd created a countdown timer that was perfectly configured to the timing I'd requested. Everything went perfectly.

I should stop rambling, but I'd like to make one final point - Satra has the calmest, most soothing energy. She is the perfect antidote to wedding anxiety. She tells you she'll handle it, and she absolutely will. If my wedding was like every other wedding in the history of weddings, I'm pretty sure there were like a million little crises that happened, but I did not and will never know about them, because Satra was there to handle everything.

Satra is an incredible wedding planner! She put out flames before I even knew about them and made my wedding experience so relaxing and fun! She handled any problem that came her way with grace and had a calmness to her that really helped me enjoy the entire planning process. I would definitely recommend Satra to any future bride!
