OH MY GOODNESS! Stop searching for a florist for your event because you have found the nicest and most awesome florist there is, her name is Wendi and she is the owner of the shop!
I was recommended to hire her for our wedding that was supposed to happen in the fall of 2020 but we all know how that played out. When it came to changes she was more than willing and accommodating.

When it came to discussing designs and a floral plans she listened to me and my ideas. However after following her instagram account I wanted to give her most of the design freedom but still maintaining the overall image we had for our special day. The day of let me tell you! SHE WENT ABOVE & BEYOND MY FLORAL DREAMS COULD EVER IMAGINE! I was the bride so unfortunately I did not have my phone on me to take a picture of her creations but once I get one I will happily update :)

I wish I lived closer to the Benicia area just to stop by her lovely shop! I could gush all day about how amazing Wendi is & her wonderful designs! Her entire team was so helpful in every way!

Wendi was absolutely fabulous. She created arrangements in my budget and captured my colors and theme brilliantly. The morning of my wedding was definitely emotional- but when Wendi delivered these flowers I teared up. I have received so many compliments on the flowers!

Where do I even begin, AMAZING!! Wendi and her team from the very beginning were absolutely so wonderful to work with. From my initial meeting with Wendi I felt very comfortable knowing that she understood me and the vision I had for our big day. The presentation she gave for her proposal was amazing! I loved that with the proposal she included pictures of the general look that she would be putting together, for me being a visual person that was beyond helpful. The final 30 days before the wedding she was so helpful and even went above and beyond what I had expected. Her team dropped off flowers at multiple locations and even came back at the end of the reception to clean up/pick up any of their pieces left behind. She even went above and beyond by adding flower arrangements to our chairs we sat in during the reception and put floral arrangements in the bathrooms! She was one of the best decisions I made to help our dream come to life! Thank you Wendi!!

My husband and I worked with Wendi for our mellow, DIY wedding in Walnut Creek. After we expressed our interest in the smallest package on her site and explained our floral decor needs, Wendi graciously trimmed down the cost of our package and floral purchases to match precisely what we were looking for. She was a delight to collaborate with as well. We met for coffee to share more about our wedding and our personalities -- Wendi used this information and interaction to craft beautiful floral arrangements that matched who WE were as a couple, in addition to the aesthetic of the event itself. I was so impressed! My and my bridal parties' bouquets also received so many compliments -- and they smelled amazing...

Wendi has excellent intuition. We came to her with just a few words, ethereal, vintage, etc. She was able to very quickly catch on to our vision. On our wedding day it was more than we could ask for. Wendi met with us in person to go over final details and was charming and friendly. Her floral arrangements are gorgeous and well worth her competitive pricing. Looking around the venue on our wedding day was so magical and it was in huge part to Wendi. She was meticulous with her arrangements and her ingenuity shows. But my favorite part about working with Wendi was her persona and how she runs her business. Wendi is easy to communicate with and down to earth. We can't thank her enough for making our vision come true.

I cannot say enough great stuff about Wendi and her services. She is beyond talented, kind, patient (we had lots of changes). Not only did she create unforgettable displays, bouquets, and boutineers on a limited budget and time, but she went out of her way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted with sample photos, Pinterest boards and more! Wendi even designed and delivered one of the most beautiful flower head pieces I have ever seen for the rehearsal dinner. She has the best eye and an incredible aesthetic, using sustainable practices and creating arrangements that look straight from the Anthropologie catalog. Most importantly though, she is the type of person you’d wished to be friends with outside your wedding. Affordable and just the best, I would recommend Sweetness and Light ten times over to anyone planning a wedding.

Wendi and the team and Sweetness & Light went above and beyond for our floral arrangements in our October wedding. We couldn't have been more happy with the experience with them from start to finish. I knew right away when looking at photos from different florists in the area that Sweetness & Light would be the best fit for our wedding. You can tell that they really put care and attention into all their arrangements, they are very beautiful, unique, and well-crafted. They were responsive, very nice and easy to work with. You can tell Wendi is an expert with flowers, and I felt confident after our initial meeting that the final flowers would be amazing, which is big for me since I'm usually a worrier! I felt very comfortable with her since our very first conversation. Working with someone you can trust is very important. She is extremely professional! I felt like she knew exactly what I wanted, and gave me recommendations. She created a Pinterest board for me, which helped me visualize, how everything was going to look. She worked with my budget and was very responsive. I highly recommend Wendy. You will not regret hiring her. She is worth every penny. I got so many compliments on my flower and decor arrangements. When I called her the week before the wedding after a last minute decision to have flowers in my bridal updo, she put together a beautiful bag of flowers and hand delivered it the morning of my hair appointment.
