We love Emily! Emily is the reason our wedding day went off perfectly, and we couldn't be more grateful! We worked with Emily for the three months leading up to our wedding and were so grateful for her expertise, attention to detail, and kindness! Her planning tools (including the worlds most epic checklist) made it easy for us to think through every detail for our wedding and keep us calm, cool, and collected the months leading up to our wedding. With Emily's help, there was no last minute stress the months/weeks before our wedding because we had already done it all. I was so grateful that she coordinated everything with our vendors. She flawlessly executed on our vision -- putting together beautiful tablescapes and making sure that our vendors knew where to set up. She also made sure that we were on schedule and made small tweaks to our timeline as necessary. She also took care of me and my husband -- making sure we were happy and comfortable throughout the night and even holding my bouquet in between photos so I could rest my arms. I'm sure she resolved multiple issues/emergencies for us throughout the day that we weren't even aware of because she's that good!

Our big day was absolutely perfect and it couldn’t have happened without Emily. She was meticulous in getting every detail right. She grew to know us and know our tastes, and made sure every decision she made was the right one for us. 11/10 would recommend working with Emily! My husband and I had the please of working with Emily, for our wedding at the Adamson House. I was in love with the venue, but a bit nervous as you have to bring everything in, so it had a lot more logistics to it. Working with Emily made it a breeze. She made sure all of our vendors were in sync (Catering, Rentals, Liquor, Florals, DJ, Transportation, Photographer, etc. etc.), and seeing that put my mind at ease. The entire process was smooth - we had regular communications to ensure everything was moving along as needed, and day-of went perfectly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and many of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended.

Emily is the ONLY wedding planner you need to talk to. Before we hired her, I was so lost and stressed about keeping track of all of the details and building out a budget that truly accounted for everything.

After contacting about 20 other wedding planners and feeling discouraged by vague pricing or weird, impersonal or pretentious vibes, we got on the phone with Emily and immediately knew she was the one. She instantly “got” us and understood what we wanted.

I honestly can’t imagine having planned our wedding with anyone else. Emily is so kind and professional, and she did so much for us. When she says “full service”, she means it. She guided us so effortlessly through the entire process. She helped us identify our priorities and hit our deadlines. She provided excellent vendor recommendations and even handled a lot of communications on our behalf so that we could focus on the fun stuff. She kept everything relaxed, fun, and approachable. And she’s a real joy to chat with. We ended up having a wonderful wedding that exceeded my expectations in pretty much every way. It was beautiful and our families and friends have been gushing about it for weeks. I’m almost sad that I can’t figure out a way to work with Emily again. She is truly the best!

We’re so so glad we went with Emily. After dipping our toes into wedding planning shortly after we got engaged, we knew it was something we could not handle on our own and that we would want some professional help and support along the way. The first time we chatted with Emily over zoom, we were both struck by her calm demeanor and how easy and pleasant she was to speak with. We knew that was an energy that we wanted around us on our wedding day. We also learned that Emily frequently does weddings at a venue we were eyeing, The Lodge at Malibou Lake. It made sense for us that if we chose that venue (which we did) we should pick a wedding planner who knew it inside and out – and that was Emily Kay!

Emily was super flexible and accommodating of us when we had some challenges picking a date. Once we finally settled on one, Emily was so key in keeping us on track with next steps. I had many moments where I was concerned that we might be behind in our planning, or missing something, and every time we met with Emily it was always re-assuring that we were right where we needed to be, or we didn’t need to think about a certain step yet. Once again, Emily’s calm approach to wedding planning was so crucial to help us manage what can be a very stressful situation.

Emily was always available to bounce ideas off of. And her years of knowledge and experience with wedding planning was of course super helpful to us newbies. She was always very communicative, even when juggling a very busy year with many weddings taking place!

On the big day itself, I was impressed once again how her calm demeanor pervaded everything. Everything happened exactly as Emily had planned out, there were no last minute emergencies or catastrophes, the whole event went off flawlessly – all to her credit! The only slight mishap was a tilting cake, which meant we had to cut the cake sooner than anticipated, but even with that slight change, everything still felt seamless, and like it was meant to be. It was so wonderful to have Emily’s re-assuring presence around us all day. Even our friends and family commented multiple times on her wonderful energy and how calm and happy she was the whole day.

Another perk, is that Emily has several decorative items that she rents out if people need them: table numbers, candles, etc. These came in super helpful towards the end, when we were tired of making decisions, and when we didn’t want to acquire more items than we needed to.

If we had to do it all over again, we would 100% pick Emily Kay! She was the perfect woman for the job, and I’m so happy we had her with us on our big day. She was exactly who we needed, and the day was a big success because of her! So grateful for making our wedding the smash hit that it was! We will be re-living this day for years to come, and we couldn’t have done it without her!

Words cannot express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for Emily Sallach. Her kindness, creativity, dedication, work ethic and ability to remain calm amidst a storm not only preserved my sanity, but also contributed to creating an absolutely wonderful wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, Emily spent countless hours helping Kevin and I create exactly what we wanted. Candidly, our wedding was not easy. Our venue was a beautiful backyard, which made things far more complicated than I realized. We had numerous vendors, logistical issues and special requests. Emily managed all of these, and, importantly, she did this displaying a calm demeanor and a smile.

As if the wedding were not complicated enough, we then faced significant weather issues five days prior to our wedding. Such issues were absolutely unforeseen given that our wedding was in early September and in Los Angeles. Nevertheless, the weather gods delivered a hurricane warning, as well as Saturday filled with rain. This is every bride’s nightmare, particularly one such as myself who is a certified “worrywart.” Emily immediately jumped into action by relying on connections to secures tents (which was not an easy task given the Emmys and numerous other weddings scheduled the weekend of our wedding) and strategizing how to ensure our BIG day still would be amazing, rain or shine. Kevin and I knew that Emily was handling the situation, which made that week a lot less stressful. She communicated regularly and assured us that the event was on course. Undoubtedly, unplanned “issues” will arise during the planning process. Rest assured, Emily will handle them.

In sum, Emily went above and beyond in all aspects of planning and creating the best day of my life. Numerous guests commented that this was the “best wedding they have ever attended.” I only say this to emphasize Emily’s talents. I unequivocally and without reservation HIGHLY recommend Emily. Do not hesitate to hire her as your planner. She is professional, caring, driven, creative and kind. And, critically, she is an excellent communicator. During the planning process, this trait is invaluable. Vendors loved working with her, and Emily consistently updated Kevin and I throughout the process. Whenever I had questions, she made herself available. In a nutshell, Emily is the best coordinator I could have chosen and choosing her was the best decision Kevin and I made regarding our wedding. We will forever be grateful for her efforts and recommend and encourage all couples to select her. As someone who never dreamed about my “wedding day,” Emily changed my perspective and caused to understand just how truly special wedding days are. The effort and investment are absolutely worth it. Emily is an amazing visionary that makes events flow effortlessly. She coordinated our wedding in Malibu, from managing difficult vendors to bringing to life a full-on Italy-in-California vision, Emily managed our event with grace, creativity, and overall excellence.
