Candice is truly the best in the business. I met with 6+ coordinators before speaking with Candice, and before we even got off the phone, I knew she was the perfect fit. She was already one step ahead, thinking through all the details and asking the right questions — just on the consultation call! Not only is she incredible at her job, but she does it with so much joy and the best energy, which made the entire experience that much more FUN!

We booked Engaged Events for partial wedding planning, which was the perfect amount of involvement for my husband and me. Candice took our ideas and opinions and ran with them, handling so much of the heavy lifting. Because she’s such a seasoned planner, we didn’t have to stray far from her preferred vendor list. Her recommendations were fantastic and worked well within our budget. Although budgeting was not included in our package, Candice generously shared her input and advice as we made our selections.

We also added on the design package, which was such a fun experience. Candice helped bring our vision for a classy, timeless wedding to life, and everything came together beautifully.

Come wedding weekend, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing! From the rehearsal dinner through the end of the wedding night, Candice handled all of the load-ins, vendor coordination, setting out decorations, shuffling bridal parties along, and countless other details. At the end of the night, she and her team even tidied up my room and belongings, saved leftover stationery for keepsakes, collected our cards, florals, and decor, and made sure everything was taken care of. I truly didn’t have to lift a finger!

The only hiccup was when I couldn’t figure out how to bustle my dress (100% my fault for not paying attention at the bridal salon!!) — which is now one of my favorite memories from the wedding! My MOH, sister-in-law, and I were struggling to figure it out, so we called Candice and her assistant who ran up to my suite to come to the rescue. Picture this: suddenly everyone is under my dress, we’re all laughing, and before I knew it, they had me bustled and out the door to catch the rest of cocktail hour.

Everyone in my bridal party, our parents, vendors, Mission Basilica SJC Church, and the Ritz-Carlton Laguna staff was so impressed by Candice and her team. Seriously, it was the BEST day of our lives, and I’m so grateful we had Candice and Engaged Events there to make it all happen! Thank you so much, ladies!

We loved Candice so much! She helped with all the final details 2 months leading up to the wedding and then day-of coordination. I cannot say enough good things about her. From our first call, I knew she was exactly what I needed. She answered my endless questions, responded quickly, handled all the necessary paperwork for the vendors, and so much more. Every time we spoke I felt much more calm and confident afterwards. The day of the wedding was perfect! She kept us on schedule and dealt with some curveballs with grace! I appreciated that she commanded the room when necessary (like trying to get everyone out front for the grand exit) and she led the rehearsal perfectly so that we were all prepared for day of! Candice and her team supported us every step of the way - and she also was the planner for my sister as well as one of my bridesmaids! We wouldn't change a single thing about our wedding day, and that's because it was so well managed and executed by her team. They are detailed, thorough, and go out of their way to ensure you can be fully present with your spouse and guests while they take care of everything else.

From the very first intro call to our final farewell at the end of our wedding night, Candice was truly a dream come true. Her warmth, positivity, and radiant energy never once wavered—and that consistency, paired with her impeccable attention to detail, made all the difference. She was incredibly organized, always one step ahead, and remarkably responsive. We never had to follow up or remind her of anything; she simply had it all under control.

Candice made us feel so cared for every step of the way. Her patience, thoughtfulness, and calm, steady presence created such peace of mind throughout the planning process and especially on the big day. Even our parents commented on how much they were able to fully enjoy the celebration because they knew everything was being handled with care.

She even helped bring my wedding cake vision to life—every little detail was just as I’d imagined, and it meant the world. One of our absolute favorite moments was when she made sure we had a private moment together in the reception ballroom, dancing to our first song before guests were let in. It was so thoughtful and beautifully orchestrated—just one example of her seamless organization and how deeply she cares about her couples’ experience.

She and her two wonderful assistants brought the sweetest spirit to the entire day and found solutions to anything and everything with grace and ease. We truly could not have asked for a better coordinator. If you have the chance to work with Candice—do it. She’s pure magic.

My favorite thing about Candice was that she truly put the bride and groom first.
