The spot where Minnie Pearl, herself, got her start, and Walt Disney loved to visit, the gardens enjoyed their heydey during the famous Jazz Era. Buried beneath years of neglect and a carpet of kudzu, Dunaway Gardens was reopened in 2000 to once again share her past and beauty for memorable occasions.

Dream Venue, friendly staff
I have nothing bad to say about my experience with Dunaway! They did a lovely job coordinating the event and were helpful along the way. The gardens are beyond compare. The cottage to get ready in was straight out of a storybook. One warning - if you visit, be ready to book! Nothing else will be as magical! They were pricey but for what you get, I understand. I wound up opting for a weekday wedding to keep the magic on a budget!Sent on 10/27/2020

A Fairytale Venue
My wife, Brooke, and I knew we wanted to be married in an outdoor garden venue. We didn't want it to be as prim and manicured as a formal English garden, not as rustic as a sprawling farm. We wanted our special day to be nestled in diverse foliage, with charming, informal spaces in which to gather and celebrate.
Being from NYC, our dreams felt way out of reach after visiting incredibly expensive venues in the tri-state area. After digging through hundreds of search results and dozens of listicles Brooke happened upon photos of Dunaway and we decided to take the chance of making a weekend visit to Atlanta to see if the shoe would fit.
Thankfully it did! Even though our initial visit took place during a rainy weekend, Dunaway's beauty is absolutely unparalleled. After driving about 30 minutes outside of Atlanta proper through rural roads, when you arrive at Dunaway's front gates it truly feels as if you are stepping into a fairytale kingdom.
Elizabeth is knowledgeable, professional, creative, and works tirelessly to help you create exactly the wedding you are envisioning. We decided to hire her as our day-of coordinator and would highly recommend it to any couples getting married at Dunaway or elsewhere in Atlanta.
The most amazing part about Dunaway (and something that's hard to communicate through photos alone--you really have to go visit) is that it's a huge property with many amazing settings that can be used in a multitude of combinations for both your ceremony and reception. Our guests were enamoured by the natural beauty of the gardens and gushed about how they felt like they were in a different world.

Dream Wedding Venue
Getting married at Dunaway Gardens was an absolute dream. From the moment we drove through the gate, we knew this was where we would get married. The grounds are so beautiful and so unique. Our wedding guests could not get over how stunning the setting was, and we received so many compliments. It was truly a magical day in large part to the scenery. The team at Dunaway Gardens was wonderful to work with. They were communicative and patient with all of our questions and kept things running smoothly the day of the wedding. I also can verify that it is handicap accessible, as my father is in a wheelchair and was able to access the ceremony site and reception tents. It was the perfect venue for our wedding!Sent on 01/07/2020
