Historic Wedding Venues in Atlanta

Caroline did a great job of making the day easy for me! Rhodes Hall is absolutely gorgeous. I loved that I did not feel the need to add any decorations to the inside of the venue. I forgot to bring the few artificial flowers that I planned to tie to a few seats outside for the ceremony. The yard is gorgeous too, so there really was no need for any decor there either. The venue is reasonably priced and worth even more because of great staff like Caroline.

The Trolley Barn was the perfect place to host our wedding. Great outdoor and indoor spaces, beautiful and historic grounds, easy to get to from all over town. Lisa was very supportive and flexible, as we had to postpone once due to the pandemic. It was so nice that we felt supported during that very uncertain and scary time. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was, and the pictures turned out amazing. One thing I really appreciate the most about The Trolley Barn is that it comes with so many different types of tables and chairs. We used a lot of what they provided (which saved a ton of money), but dressed up a few other aspects that we wanted to splurge on (like rectangular tables for dinner and black chairs for the ceremony and dinner). Highly recommend you consider this historic venue to give your guests a taste of a time gone by in the middle of the city!

Our wedding at Biltmore Ballrooms was an absolute dream, and we truly couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of five-star.Michelle was an absolute lifesaver throughout the entire process. Her responses were incredibly fast, she was always there to answer our questions, and she graciously allowed us to view the venue as many times as we needed. The walkthrough she provided, detailing exactly how our big day would play out, was invaluable and put all our nerves at ease.Beyond Michelle, the entire team at Biltmore Ballrooms deserves immense praise. Every single person we encountered, from the welcoming front desk staff to the attentive bartenders and the diligent setup team, was incredibly kind and genuinely happy for us, offering heartfelt congratulations. Their warmth made us feel so special and supported.And the venue itself? Simply stunning! The gorgeous pillars, the charming outdoor area, the magnificent tall windows, and of course, the breathtaking chandeliers provided the most exquisite backdrop for our celebration. We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos, which captured every beautiful detail and highlight the venue's incredible elegance.We couldn't be happier with our choice and wholeheartedly recommend Biltmore Ballrooms to any couple looking for a truly magical and memorable wedding experience!

From the minute I walked in, I knew this was the spot - and we were not disappointed! It's a beautiful canvas that any couple can make their own. The staff were flat out fantastic day of and Wendy was very accommodating and worked with us from step one.

The Fox Theatre is an Atlanta icon, and we were thrilled to have both our ceremony and reception there, using both the Grand Salon and Egyptian ballrooms. In terms of cool, unique venues, it is hard to beat the Fox--it is a glamorous art deco palace whose unique architecture lends itself to truly unforgettable photos. Nancy Lutz is the onsite coordinator for the Fox, and she is a joy to work with--a truly sweet woman who wants to make sure your wedding desires are met. We looked at the Atlanta History Center, the Botanical Gardens and the Biltmore ballrooms for our 200+ person wedding, and the Fox was comparable (if not a little more affordable) than these other peer institutions. We liked that the Fox did have some outdoor space (our cocktail reception was in the elegant outdoor terrace off of the Grand Salon), but it is the interior space where it really shines. The Georgian Terrace and Hotel Indigo were literally right across the street, making it an ideal location for a wedding like ours with many out-of-town guests. We did have Affairs to Remember cater our wedding, as they were the preferred caterer--the food was amazing, and while not cheap, it was in line with our budget. We did have to go back and forth a few times to strike the menu we wanted, but in the end, Affairs provided exactly what we desired (a nouveau Southern-inspired menu). If there are any negatives about the Fox, it is that the Open Bar packages are more expensive than average (you can't bring your own wine/spirits), and they essentially charge a penalty if you don't use Affairs to Remember for almost all your vendors (including floral design, and their preferred floral design was almost double in cost of the one we ended up using). But, despite these small faults, we loved the Fox and were delighted with our wedding day experience.

King Plow was my dream wedding venue and it did not disappoint! The industrial ceremony/reception space is beautiful, and the gallery space is so special and unforgettable to guest! From the start Kelley with BOLD made the process very streamlined and easy. They are as close to "all-inclusive" as you can get and it made everything so easy. They run like a well oil machine and it makes a bridal able to enjoy her day vs stress!

Incredible Venue! Absolutely beautiful and the team is AMAZING! Everyone that attended our wedding raved about the food. Great cost for size and quality of the venue. The team was so helpful and worked hand in hand with my wedding coordinator. Linens, tables, and food all included which is so helpful. INCREDIBLE experience.

Our wedding day was absolutely amazing thanks to The Upstairs Atlanta! The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, and the venue itself was stunning! Kesley was always available to answer any questions I had through the process. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day.

Staying at The White Bohemian was an absolute dream! Just a mile from downtown ATL and near historic Grant Park, this architectural gem oozes charm and celebrity cred, having hosted stars like Rob Gronkowski and even appeared on reality TV. The moment we stepped through the doors, the 35-foot-high white tin tile ceilings, stained glass windows, and original wood floors took our breath away. Our group loved the 9 bedrooms, each with super-comfy queen beds or playful bunk setups. With 3 living room couches, 5 total bathrooms, and a stunning dining area for 20, we never felt crowded. The large fenced yard made for perfect outdoor hangouts—complete with grills, cozy seating, and string lights. Plus, the enormous lounge/bar area was ideal for nights in. Whether enjoying the Atlanta Beltline, local breweries, or simply relaxing in this tranquil retreat, we were wowed from start to finish. Kudos to the hosts for excellent communication and tips for direct booking. Highly recommend!
