Classic Wedding Venue in Atlanta
My husband and I found Margret Mitchell House as a venue through word of mouth and we couldn’t have been happier with the end result we were given. Excellent hospitality from the Atlanta History Center staff. They were easy to work with, had great communication and were very knowledgeable throughout the whole process. The venue itself was in excellent condition, clean, up kept and nicely decorated. They had upstairs getting ready rooms on property which made it so convenient for everyone. Easy set up from vendors with parking across the street. Plenty of hotels within walking distance from property and great restaurants nearby too. Overall MMH had everything we needed and we again couldn’t have been happier with the end result we were given.

A Perfect Day
The wedding team behind the Trellis Room is one of the best in the business. They were very responsive to our needs, answered every question we had, worked within our budget, and overall ensured that the day went y smoohtly so my wife and I only had to focus on the day!

Historic Charm in the heart of Midtown!
We got so lucky being able to host our wedding at Margaret Mitchell House this past October! We had a hard time finding a venue in our budget that was located in Atlanta (we had a ton of out-of-town guests). Luckily, this venue just re-opened in Summer of 2025 so we were one of the first couples to use this new space! The team at MMH was super flexible with us and what we wanted out of our wedding. With a strict budget, they were more than okay with us doing our own florals and decor set-up. We hired a month of coordinator who helped on the day of but the venue coordination prior to that was pivotal in making our day a success. Our guests loved the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour plus everyone was able to stay super close by since you are right in the city. Definitely recommend Margaret Mitchell House if you are wanting a charming, intimate venue!!
