Emily did an amazing job capturing our wedding day! I immediately knew I wanted to work with her when she shared her organization and predetermined schedule. It was a huge relief knowing that photography wasn't one of the many things I had to worry about. Emily was flexible, kind, responsive, and very easy to get along with. Our engagement shoot was the day before our wedding and she did a wonderful job making us feel comfortable, laughing with us, and keeping the process genuine. She kept in touch after the wedding and delivered all products as promised, in the timeline promised. I highly recommend her work!

Emily photographed my engagements, bridals, and my wedding last year, and is the kind of person that you feel instantly comfortable with. She was able to make me and my now husband feel confident in front of the camera and was always prepared with a way to pose us. Her preparation leading up to the wedding made me feel confident in her, and I liked that she was prepared with the perfect shot list. The day of the wedding, Emily was the star vendor. She was in charge while being polite, was flexible when the timeline went sideways (due to late groomsmen), did some excellent problem solving, helped me feel and look my best, and had no issue directing a large group. For our Catholic wedding, she was able to get the perfect shot without disturbing the ceremony. She was prompt in returning our photos to us. I love her editing style, and I thought we received the perfect number of photos – the candid’s, the posed photos, the silly photos – like a broken bridesmaid’s shoe, and all the ones in between. Investing in Emily was 100% worth it!

Emily is amazing! She makes you feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. I am not the biggest picture taking gal, but she made it fun and comfortable! Plus the photos come out amazing - couldnt have asked for more. In addition, everything remained on schedule (or if it didnt, I didnt know about it!) which from what I have heard about, is not always typical. She was amazing and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Emily is a visionary! We love how she and her business partner perfectly captured our special day, she made it difficult to narrow down our favorites (which is a great problem to have!). The candid and posed photos of us as a couple, as well as all the little detail shots and photos of our wedding party and guests came out amazing. Dreamy Elk was one of our very first vendors to book for MANY reasons. After our engagement, I began my research to find a photographer to fit our personalities and style. When I found Emily's Instagram I think I actually exhaled in relief. Emily's style is so light and dreamy. She knows how to capture those sweet, romantic moments between couples without making it seem forced or disingenuous. Our initial contact took place right before Austin's "Snowpocalypse" in February 2021, with our first meeting scheduled for that week. Emily was extremely patient as we navigated freezing temperatures, power outages, no running water, etc. while trying to find a time to meet. When we finally met up, I felt so comfortable and at ease in Emily's company. She is warm, kind, and dependable, and not to mention extremely talented in what she does. It was an easy choice to move forward with Emily! I loved having Emily with us throughout our engagement. I highly recommend the Diamond Package, which includes engagement and bridal portrait sessions. My husband and I loved the opportunity to get to know Emily more before the big day. I felt so calm on my wedding day, and a huge reason for that is Emily's professionalism and dependability. She captured our day perfectly and we couldn't be more thankful for these memories!

Emily Ross with Dreamy Elk Photography is a dream wedding photographer. Seriously, you couldn’t ask for better! We met on a photo shoot a year before my wedding, where she photographed me modeling for a wedding venue and dress boutique. I instantly knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer, and fortunately for me she had the date available!

Her style and attentiveness to detail made my photos so beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with them! She helped with finding the venue for my bridals and they turned out so beautiful. Emily was very efficient and made sure we got more than enough photos (because I arrived late) and she was never flustered or annoyed at the time limitation! I’ve never felt more beautiful than I do in my bridal photos, because I really feel as if Emily captured who I am in the photos, not just a pretty dress and makeup. On the wedding day she showed up on time and got THE most amazing photos. She and her assistant captured our wedding day so unbelievably well. Our family and friends love looking at the photos and everyone always says not only how beautiful the photos are, but how well they captured the emotions and little details that made up our day!

I could honestly go on forever about Emily and I’d love nothing more than to give her 10/5 stars, but I’ll stop here and just say that she will go above and beyond for not only your photos, but for you.
