We were looking for something different for our wedding. We wanted to have the kind of music we like (90s rock) and no booty shaking DJ crap. We saw this fine band some years back doing jazz covers of the music we loved listening to growing up and when we decided to get married we thought back to these folks. We wanted to not only enjoy music we like, but also have it be something easily palatable for the older folks and not obnoxious like booty shaking DJ crap. Not only did their musical stylings fit the bill, we were able to work out actually singing a song with the band (my wife and I used to sing for choir) so that we could perform our wedding song. They were so accommodating on this front and the music went over so well, people are still talking about how great our wedding was.

Great sound and stage presence. True professionals of their craft. Extremely flexible and willing to figure out a way to make the show work. Classic, NYC music, with the talent to be a sure bet (pun!).

Could not have been better. Great fun songs/mash-ups plus great arrangements. Really added to (if not made!) our wedding. Even guests who are seasoned muscians were impresssed and totally entertained. Several times the dance floor was full to over. And they nailed our request to play our first dance request. Perfect performance that led to a great first dance by the two of us. They were so good, we're going to hear them play in NYC just to be entertained! Thanks Double Down!

Double down was an amazing wedding band! Everyone was dancing and they were great to work with.

Nothing else to say really. They custom learned our wedding song, we had a choreographed routine to one of their songs, they were beyond professional. If you 're looking for a high energy swing style dance floor, look no further. Really.
