I’m Stephen, a wedding DJ, MC, and professional musician based in Hillsborough, serving the Triangle, Triad, and beyond. I love sharing my gift of music to help couples celebrate their love. You’ll work directly with me from our first conversation through your wedding day. My planning form keeps your music choices and important details together, and I’ll check in, offer suggestions, and answer questions along the way. Before the wedding, we’ll walk through everything together so you feel prepared and confident.

I’ll welcome your guests, introduce your special moments, and coordinate with your vendor team so everyone is ready before we move into dances, speeches, and other events. My approach is warm, clear, and upbeat. I’m there to celebrate alongside you while keeping the focus on you and your guests.

Music and Services

Coverage is available for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Reception services include planning consultations, live mixing, MC services, professional sound, wireless microphones, and dance floor lighting. You can also add ceremony coverage, venue uplighting, a photo booth, or custom lighting design.

I mix live, connecting your favorite music with songs that keep your guests engaged. I’ll read the room, move between styles, and adjust the energy as the night unfolds. We’ll talk about the celebration you want, whether that means big singalongs, high-energy dancing, or a more relaxed evening with the people you love.

A Lifelong Musician

I’m also a composer and former band director with a PhD in Music Composition from Duke University. My music has been performed by professional artists worldwide, and I bring that same creativity and attention to detail to your wedding. Getting to share something I love on such an important day is a privilege I never take for granted.
