Located in the quaint, historic town of Pittsboro, North Carolina, Forest Hall at Chatham Mills is a wedding venue just outside Chapel Hill that combines vintage and industrial details to create a truly unique space. Forest Hall is nestled on 32 acres replete with woodland and beautifully tended gardens, creating the ultimate atmosphere for blending vintage charm and natural beauty. This serene oasis will provide the perfect setting for your happily ever after.
Facilities and Capacity
The historic mill, with soaring ceilings, exposed brick walls, and wooden beams, offers the perfect canvas to create the wedding of your dreams. Outdoor ceremony options include in front of the breathtaking 80-foot sycamore tree or with the charming brick mill as a backdrop. These picturesque outdoor spaces provide the perfect opportunity for a dreamy, nature-filled ceremony. Indoors you can exchange vows in the hall, flooded with natural light. The indoor space is 3500 square feet and is ideal for receptions or ceremonies of up to 150 loved ones. However, the venue can accommodate up to 200 people with some creative seating options. Forest Hall offers a recently renovated, comfortable changing suite in all wedding rentals and can be used for hair, makeup, or simply relaxing. Adjacent to the hall is The Sycamore, an upscale dining restaurant whose elegant lounge can be utilized as a groom's suite or pre-wedding hangout area.
Services Offered The hall is operated by Yolo Entertainment Group NC, a local event company with over 30 years of running and catering weddings and events. Their experienced team is ready to make sure everything goes as planned. They will work with you to create, coordinate and execute every last detail. Their open vendor policy allows you to create the customized wedding of your dreams, tailored perfectly for you and your partner. You may bring in a caterer from the provided list, or work with the on-site caterers, 39 West Catering, to streamline your planning process. Booking this venue includes tables and chairs, wine barrels, draping, outdoor games, and WiFi. On-site parking and shuttle services are also available for your guests.

We learned of Forest Hall from my MIL who had gone to a wedding there. When we got engaged we went for a tour and booked! They gave us a first responder discount, which was incredibly thoughtful. They also told us that they were renovating their bridal suite! The price point of the venue was perfect and the included chairs and gorgeous farm tables makes it even better. There are beautiful market lights that add the perfect ambiance to the space. The huge windows and original wood floors are beautiful. Greg and Danielle were amazing to work with and we appreciate how flexible and responsive they were. They had little touches in the bridal suite for all your emergency needs. You can also add on the lounge area for the groom and groomsmen. It is attached to The Sycamore, the restaurant next door (which is so good and you need to try as well). That space is perfect for the guys to hang out before the ceremony and makes for great photos. If you are looking for an outdoor ceremony they have a lovely space outside to accommodate! I cannot recommend Forest Hall enough!

Beautiful Historic Venue
I want to thank everyone at Forest Hall for making sure my daughter's wedding was a success. I luckily found this venue when trying to find a location for our celebration. Greg and his staff were excellent. They provided recommendations and flexibility as we were planning the event, and on the big day they made sure every detail was top notch. I highly recommend them!

Beautiful, cozy, and flexible
From our first tour of Forest Hall, my husband and I knew it was the venue for us. The space is beautiful and customizable, but more importantly the staff and ownership are kind, caring, and fantastic at their jobs. Our entire family and bridal party were impressed with the venue manager, Danielle's, efficiency and organization, and how well she kept our rehearsal and wedding day running smoothly. Danielle, Greg, and their team are some of the best in the business, and they made sure our wedding was every bit as beautiful as we had imagined and then some.

Perfect wedding
My son and his wife were married here last Saturday. I cannot say enough about the entire staff. From set up to food to making sure everyone was where they needed to be, they were incredible. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event!

Super unique venue with great charm!
My husband and I got married at Forest this past spring. We planned our wedding in a little over 6 months. The venue was extremely flexible with our timing and Danielle, our coordinator, was amazing to work with. She and her assistant decorated the night before and day of which made it stress free for us and our friends and family. The outdoor games were great and we rented the lounge set - our guests loved it. Highly recommend!

A venue that has everything you need in one spot!
Forest Hall is a wedding venue that can adapt to indoor or outdoor needs, offers a mix of historical, vintage, rustic and industrial, and provides a private, secluded option for any set up you wish. The staff and catering are awesome- so helpful and kind throughout the process- and flexible to meet needs and wishes. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect!
This venue was a dream! I used their in-house catering service, as well as their in-house wedding coordinator and I was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. My coordinator was Danielle Connor and she was kind, organized and fun to work with! The venue is clean and gorgeous. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this venue.

Wonderful venue & staff!
Forest Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. The team was so helpful, accommodating, professional, and responsive from the day we toured. It was more than worth the price & our wedding turned out more perfect than we could’ve ever imagined! Special thanks to Jessica for helping us coordinate and plan leading up to the big day. Also— the food through 39West was to die for! We received so many compliments on how great the food was (and the venue)! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing Venue & Owner
When we first visited Forest Hall when we were shopping around for wedding venues, it was recently under new ownership. The new owner, Greg, showed us around and shared his vision for how the place could look a year later when our wedding would be. We're so happy we selected Forest Hall for our wedding.
The space was perfect for us. The exposed brick and wooden floor and tables were lovely. We loved having a dining area, a dance floor in another room, and an amazing outdoor space for the reception, cocktail hour, corn hole, and a chance to get away from the dance party inside. The venue also served us very well for the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner.
Greg was especially helpful coordinating everything with many of our vendors to get the rentals taken care of, including the tableware, tent, and lights. Greg was incredibly helpful and so great to work with throughout this entire process. Between Greg and our Event Planner (Timeless Events NC), so many things got taken care of that we simply did not have to worry about on our special day, and we're so grateful for all the help you provided.

Beautiful industrial venue with so many options!
I got married here in October 2019. This venue is the best. We absolutely loved the style of the venue, the versatility, and the natural beauty! We felt like we barely had to decorate at all because the space was so beautiful on its own. Exposed wood beams, wood floors, cream walls, and farm lights. It was just so pretty. They also include these incredible farm tables in the rental of the space that made us so happy. We did not want ugly plastic tables with tablecloths, so having these beautiful custom farm tables for our guests just made the space perfect. It looked so classy and put together. Loved it. The outdoor space is where we had our ceremony and it was beautiful and versatile. We love Forest Hall and the owner, Aneesa. She's a gem!
